My family and I went today and we had such a great time! Some things were closed due to COVID but that didn’t take away from the amount of fun we had. We spent almost four hours here. The only thing we did not care for was the cafe. It wasn’t that good but it still didn’t take away from the great time we had.

Overall it was a great experience, but a lot of the stations are closed due to covid...the one thing that could be better is the wax hands I had bought the ticket for 2:00 and they were so backed up that I didn’t get my turn until past 3 waited in line Almost an hour...that killed my vibe. My son had a good time

We drove 2 hours to come for our daughters birthday which we do every year we spent almost $70 to get in plus the parking for most of the activities to be closed . Every station said to use our pack of crayons to color things but none of us received any crayons so my daughter had to use the ones she had just made. Even the food was closed besides the small snack area that only had popcorn and cotton candy so we had to leave and find somewhere to eat and rush back. We wouldn’t of drove up if we had known 90% would be closed. Even the show wasn’t working and we watched a recording of it where you couldn’t hear what was being said. We love crayola and go every year but we won’t be back till everything is fully open again***email sent***

Loved this place! Took a four year old and two seven year olds. Stayed almost 4 hours. Could have actually stayed longer if time would have allowed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative thing I would have to say is that the wax hands kiosk wasnt working for reservations. We had to wait in line for a while, but the young lady was so patient with everyone.

Crazy how long it takes to get thru the entry line.... Even if you or pre-purchased. Then! If youre a first responder, you have to do a different line... So, then you wait, and your family waits on you while you go thru the other line! Its free... Simplify people! Lines took 30 minutes during covid-19.

Just a fun time for the kiddos. They practiced social distancing well. Its tough for the kids but they understood. Only a few attractions werent permitted such as the play area. Which was a favorite of my children on our previous visit. Masks had to be worn at all times and temps were taken at the door. Dont plan to eat there bring a packed lunch or head to a local eatery. Lines seems long but werent really we were just spaced out. All in all a good visit.

It was okay, fun for the kids. The lines were extremely long inside. The second floor was packed. There really wasnt anyone really enforcing social distancing and some areas were more crowded than they needed to be, The drip art was about 15 to 20 minutes wait because there was only one employee. Some of the attractions were closed due to COVID. There wasn’t much to do, the gift shop had a variety of souvenirs and stuff but it was a little overpriced.

Don’t waste your money. I took my kids last week and it was so boring. 90% of the place was closed due to COVID-19. No staff to help. We didn’t know what to do like not even a small activity map to do. I payed $18 with tax on the phone and my brother payed 13 in the front desk. I payed $60 extra by buying over the phone. The lady on the phone told me that if I buy with a group it’s the cheapest but it’s Actually not it’s cheaper to buy at the front desk. My kids were crying because they wanted to leave. I would recommend going when COVID is over or when they update their stuff.

We had to pay for parking not surprised in the city but when we got there we could not have purses! We had to have clear or not have it at all, so we had to put them back in the car then we went inside and then they said that my sister and dad could not have gators the mask so we had to pay $1.59 EACH so that is equivalent to $3.18, and not to mention the cost of it was $82.00 and so we had payed all that for almost all to be closed but they were nice however when we went to get the clay it got stuck and we to shake the machine and we only get 2 tokens. We thought that was all but we found an upstairs, went there and it had a better chance for me to go but itwas for little little children, the we found a crayon making place like for a ring or a shark that was the most fun part out of all of it but it didn’t help a lot. First ever time there and only time would not recommend for children 7+.

We drove almost 5 hours to visit this place and it was very cool but not worth a 5 hour drive. I was very annoyed that we could not bring our purses in. They literally would make everyone walk all the way back to their vehicles to put their purses back. You could only have clear bags, I feel bad for any female on their monthly. A good way to humiliate someone. The kids really enjoyed it and little things like making your own crayon with your name on it was pretty neat! The food was horrible so I reccommend eating before you come or after because on top of that it is ridiculously overpriced as well as their gift shop. I believe they have about 4 or 5 floors and we were done relatively quick but its definitely a neat place to take your children if you live in the area

What a spectacular place. We had an absolute blast! There is so much to do, so many activities, and so much hands on interaction. Each person gets 2 coins to use throughout the experience as well as a free scrubbie. If you have kids and live within 2 hours, this is easily a day trip and you will be talking about it for months itching to go back. The staff is amazing, the activities will have your kids moving and thinking (but having fun!), and you will not be bored. We bought season passes even though we live 2 hours away because we know we will be back. Plus with a season pass you save at the store, food court, and hand wax. 100% recommend at least a day here. We cannot wait to come back.

In my opinion, SAVE YOUR MONEY till AFTER COVID PLEASE!!!. We spent $82.00 for 2 adults and 2 children. When we got there, there was a long line, they only allowed clear bags and purses including diaper bags (overkill). Parking is $3.00 an hour. If you wore a gator as a mask , they made you purchase a mask for $1.59 each. Some of the exhibits were not opened. Read their website. The things where you had to buy tokens, pay to play games or buy clay or pay to create a labels was opened. So basically the things where you had to pay extra was opened. Selfies and create selfie were free and opened also, you could color on drawing sheets for free. The selfies and the digital drawings were free but it ask for email (advertising) or wanted you to download a paid app., after a free trial. The melt and mold and the drip art did not require an extra token either, but those were about 15 to 20 minutes wait because there was only one employee, at lest at the drip and mold station. Our children are 10 and 12 year old were completely bored, maybe 6 years and under would enjoy this. It felt like a complete rip-off. This was just my observations. The timed entry seems to mean nothing. The up side is the employees were very polite, I would be as well, if that was the way I made my living. I would not recommend this place, I would not return, it just seems like a revenue generator.

I had very high hopes for this place. It was fun, but could use some improvements. Mainly the bathrooms need upgrading and more stalls. One bathroom on each floor with 2 stalls is not enough for the volume of people that come through. The elevator was broken. Expensive snacks, souvenirs, and entrance fee. Some things are included in the price, but many are not even posted (and very small) until youre in line and then theyve got you. There were very few employees around.

My 9 and 10 year olds still enjoy this place. Theyve changed some features since the last time we were here. The adventure section was a good add. There were plenty of hand sanitizer and hand washing stations available. Just wish more people would use it. At one point the crayon labeling section on 2nd floor got very crowded and there was no one there to manage crowd control. That was the only time I felt uncomfortable. Even with mask mandates, many people dont wear their masks correctly (dont cover nose and mouth) and with some many people in that room there is no way to maintain 6 feet. Kids had a good time though.

Pine Street garage parking I did 3 dollars per hour. when entering they will say for annual pass take separate line but when I took that small like they said please go to the regular lime because u have to take a picture. it was so wasteful. So lesson when you take first time pass then please be on regular line.2nd floor make your own carryon it says but actually its ready made caryon that you just get it by paying one coin. Then you just stamp these caryon with some paper that paper you make your own in caosk machine. You get such 2 coins for $. Pick popcorns refills and popcorns at 2nd floor. Make clay take your pet and color them, arcade selfie lots more on 2nd floor etc.3rd floor sail your boat through canal kids loved this one. 4th floor family restroom and color your design with melted wax great fun. Make your own ring using melted caryon takes 10 mins including waiting time in line. I took annual pass. Overall good time here.

Update: 9/2018 - You can tell new management is here. It’s WAY cleaner, better activity set up and happier employees. And I’m here on a Sunday (weekend) where it’s usually crazy. They also re-did MELTDOWN on the fourth floor. It’s a great place to take the kids if you can handle large crowds. It opens at 10:00 AM, so if you prefer smaller crowds, that’s the time to arrive. I enjoy starting on floor 4 and then going down to 2. Bring bills for the coin machine. You can buy some at the register and throughout the building. The coins are great for modeling clay, creating your own crayons and getting random markers by the elevator. Some days they have the photos available to purchase, others they don’t. There’s lockers and coat racks for storage and a place to eat with a frequent show for entertainment at certain hours. The second floor has a lot of activities. Wax hand making is a new feature on the third floor and a huge gymnasium for kids to climb up and view the fourth floor. A toddler corner sets on the second floor. There’s lots to do, you’ll have fun and as a fellow parent, being patient and just having fun is the best attitude for this place. Kids are happy and overwhelmed so it’s loud, crowded and worth their smiles.

First I want to start with the positives:They made a diligent effort with the whole covid-19 pandemic to really keep things clean and they do take your temperature when you walk in. Staff is very friendly and diligent. Now here come the negatives:Way overpriced, including entry and cafeteria. $4 for a drink and $4 for a slice of pizza.., in addition you have to pay extra money to do wax station and Mining. Hand wax station is between 15 and $20. The mining is $8 a bag.The entry is $25 and to be honest with you there isnt really much to do. Waterworks is a waste of time and space in the facility get ready to pay extra for additional Model Magic or crayons. If youre a family of four prepare to have over $200 on you before you enter. Also dont get fooled into signing on for annual pass as you will probably never come back after your pockets are empty the first time with little activities to do.

Great place to spend at least half a day with the kids. As expected, weekends do get busy so the wait times can increase significantly for some activities. Limited activities for toddlers but 3+ can have loads of fun. The cafe has very limited food options but kid favorites like pizza, burgers and fries are available. As an adult you probably will be disappointed with the food but thats not why you are here in the first place. The lack of adequate floor staff on weekends is evident in crowd build ups and long lines and wait times.

Went for the first time today with my niece and mom. We had a blast! They are doing a FANTASTIC job with their Covid-19 protocols and their disinfection. I constantly saw the staff disinfecting stations after being used. There were reminders EVERYWHERE to sanitize and social distance. There were hand saniting stations all over. Marked lines on the floors and even markings as if it were lanes of traffic when walking up and down stairs and hallways that have people walking both directions. The staff is happy and helpful. One particular staff member Wandy R. is a gold star among those in the customer service field. My niece lost her ipod and she did EVERYTHING she could to help her find it. She came back and found us several times to ask if we had luck finding it. She took our name and number and email in case in turns up. She spread the word through the whole place and staff on other floors were asking us about it. She made it her mission to cheer my niece up about the incident and she succeeded. She is a warm, good hearted person and our day went better because of her. Thank you, Wandy! We cant wait to return!
