Staff were nothing but friendly. Went late in the day, had a nice easy pace of play. Truly a beautiful course, beautiful setting and excellent upkeep. Super speedy greens. Will absolutely be back soon!

Challenging on all levels. Plenty of blinds. Dog legs, different elevations, fairways and greens are in great shape. Recently open to the public at certain times, call them to find out.

Greens in great conditions.. Sticky and true to roll. Course design is bland. Some good looking holes on the front 9 requiring different styles of play but many holes are just not fun/properly challenging. Awkward hole layouts and playing on top of other groups define this course.. Back 9 is super linear. 18 holes in a space that could only fit 9.

Great layout, wonderful fast, smooth greens. Fairways rough in spots but did detract from the overall experience.

What a shame this beautiful course with all its wildlife will soon be commercial and residential property. Im grateful I had a chance to play this beautiful course before they Pave paradise and put up a parking lot.

Amazing and historical course in Providence. The greens are running a 13. The conditions are immaculate. Sad the place is closing this fall.

Played here for the first time, last week. Absolutely beautiful course, great views, and in stellar condition. We will be back again to embarrass ourselves on those tough greens

I had my wedding reception here, and it was wonderful! Laura is a very professional planner, help me to get things done in the way I want.The food is great, all the amenities are great!The view is beautiful as well!Highly recommended to have a nice event here :)

Had an enjoyable round. Course played a little long but greens were fast and definitely rolled well try and stay out of the rough. Otherwise will be challenging to get up and down a pleasant experience staff was very helpful and attentive

I recently attended an event here and it was much better than last year. There was plenty of delicious food for everyone, and the buffet was constantly refreshed. The banquet staff was courteous and attentive. I want to thank the new ownership for making the necessary improvements in the kitchen and the dining areas that resulted in a well received evening.

Wow, this golf course is a beauty!  We came here with my buddies last week.  It was not too challenging and the perfect length.

The facility was beautiful. The course was in wonderful shape. The people and staff were friendly and welcoming. I most definitely would recommend metacomet Golf Club.

Great layout and super greens. But using the 11th hole as a driving range while people are playing? And the kitchen was closed when we finished at 4 pm?

Booked our tee time a few hours before which is unheard of. Showed up and PGA tour legend, Brad Faxon was there and we had a great convo. A member of our group was running late but the starter never made us feel rushed or that he was upset. The pace of play was great and the conditions were phenomenal. The greens were very fast, which was a welcomed change from some of the other courses in the area. Overall 5/5 stars, great experience. Will definitely be back!

I would have given it five if I hadnt triple bogeyed three of the last four holes. Doh! Greens are lightening fast.

Brides Be Aware!!! My cousin got married here almost a month ago, and the service was HORRENDOUS.The positives, the outdoor wedding was beautiful, the grounds were immaculate and they offered covered plastic cups with flavored water because it was during a heat wave. The buck pretty much stops there...MAKE SURE YOUR EVENT IS THE ONLY ONE. My cousin had been told their wedding would be the only event held that night, but lo and behold they had also booked a college/high school graduation party in the back room. We had people showing up with Congrats Grad bags and it was evident that the kitchen could not keep up with the demand, to be discussed momentarily.Cocktail hour turned into cocktail three hours due to pictures and there were not enough hors douerves. While this could also be because the couple hadnt been coached properly on how much they would need, be advised YOUR BRIDAL PARTY WILL NOT HAVE FOOD OR DRINKS BROUGHT OUT TO THEM AS ADVERTISED. By the time the bridal party came into the building the food was gone and they were scavenging for scraps if their family members did not bring things out to them in the process.Dinner was a fiasco. The staff either had not been told how many of each dish (prime rib or chicken) for each table, or they were taking orders like they were in a restaurant, asking people what they were having. At one point they asked my other cousin whether his son would like the prime rib instead of the kids meal. That being said, you know people changed their minds. Too much prime rib was possibly ordered, PLUS the added deficit of the party in the other room. Our table was served first. Most of the meat was RAW, not rare.... RAW, and very fatty. We ate what we could because by this point most people are starving. Our plates were cleared and an hour later we were on the dance floor. My brother, a member of the bridal party and at a table on the other side of the room STILL HAD NOT BEEN SERVED. They were bringing out plates one at a time, limping along as best they could in the kitchen. About half way through the room (at my parents table), they ran out of mashed potatoes (because they needed enough for the party in the back) and they began serving vegetables that were barely cooked. I have NEVER seen this type of service at a wedding. It was just sad. I dont even want to know the money that was paid to this place.Brides beware.... double check with this venue. Clearly they make collecting money on double booking events more of a priority than making your one special day truly amazing.

I had my baby shower here it was great! The food was good, the room was very nice and the staff was amazing. Especially the lady who coordinated everything with my mom she was so nice.

Couldnt believe they only had milk and not cream for coffee. Restroom situation can be a strain to deal with.

This is a nice venue on the water overlooking the Narragansett Bay. It is a high end Banquet Hall. Last time I attended it was for a Fashion Show.

Was at a beautiful venue for a wedding and the FOOD was great!!!! Not what you think when weddings pop up but it was delicious!

Very unorganized food didnt come out till 8:30 and under cooked wait staff were the best did everything they could to make it happen but the kitchen dropped the ball big time
