Very nice small intimate venue! Went there for the first time last night with a small group (4 of us). Great food, strong drinks, friendly staff. Very clean establishment.Highly recommend you check to see if the comedians you like are performing here before you go see them elsewhere (casino, larger venues, etc). You will not be disappointed

I love this place and have since I was pregnant with my son a few years ago and we still keep coming. Not much to do when your pregnant so this was our go to date night. Came here about a month ago and the show and drinks were great for a great price ! The mozzarella triangles are amazing here too!If you are looking for a well priced different activity to do this is the place to go !

The Comedy Connection has been in East Providence for years and is a great venue. Bring your date and laugh your $&@! off! They have table service. Great acts all the way thru the night. They have two shows on the weekends - small space with shared tables in some spots. Thursday is a great deal $5 for 10 local comedians.

Pete Correale was ridiculously hysterical this past Thursday. It was my first time at this comedy club, & I loved the intimacy of the room. Perfect place to watch comedy.

Very near the water, the club has discreet curb appeal. Clean inside. Quaint. Bar on one side, stage the other, tables in between. As a note, if sitting at the bar one must turn 180 degrees to watch the show. Show had three comedians, which overall provided good value for the ticket price.

This place is a great comedy venue by any standard but it’s particularly important to support the comedy connection because of its importance to the Rhode Island comedy scene. They have true comedy heavy hitters like big Jay Okerson and Shane Gillis And I’ll always go and see anyone affiliated with c*m town , shoutout Nick Mullen, Brandon Wardell, Stavros. Great service, great comedy selection Definitely worth going out for the night

I ordered tickets 2 months in advance and arrived at the Comedy Connection at 5:30 to make sure I got good seats as it is posted 1st come and no arranged seating. I was first in the door and was told we had to sit in the furthest corner over to the side. We couldnt see the show from where we were seated. We all looked forward to the show and it ended up being a waste of time and money because of the seats

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our night out, we got tickets to see Vic Dibettetto, a favorite comedian of ours. The staff paid attention to all social distancing guidelines, and made the experience as as it couldve been.

Its small enough to feel intimate but large enough to not feel like youre in some side room of the local VFW.They have local, regional, and national talent on a regular basis, a little something for everyone.

Always a great night at the Comedy Connection. Even when I have never heard of the comedians I laugh and have a good time. Yes the seating is cramped but I think that adds to the show. Im not sure Im supposed to do this but if you have dinner next door at the Black Duck it makes for a perfect easy night. Get there early find a spot in the lot have dinner and a few drinks absolutely perfect!

The comedian was great and the price is right for live entertainment. It is a small place and the seating is crowded. What I didnt like was while the main act was finishing, the waitstaff was passing out everyones checks while the show was still going on. I know they have 2 shows, and we chose to go to the earlier one, and they need to get things cleaned up before the next show, but I thought this was improper, since we were still trying to pay attention to the comedian!

Ordered appetizers and drinks, and a margherita pizza, food and drink were excellent. Seen Frank Santos Jr. The R-rated hypnotist, absolutely amazing show, laughed hilariously through the whole show. Overall building in great shape, nice atmosphere, seating was good. A great night out.

Fantastic venue - just the right size to feel intimate without being claustrophobic. Drink prices arent punitive like many comedy clubs. When Im back in Providence, definitely stays on the list.

Great place to catch a show. I enjoy the low dow shows on Sunday night. Veteran comics mixed with amateurs. Tons of laughs enjoyed by all!

The Sunday Funnies show is a great deal for the price of admission ($10). Good food, good beer, nice staff. Most of the comics were very entertaining. I especially enjoyed Nick Hurd and Ray Harrington.

Cozy smaller venue, seating is intimate. They have great comedians that come. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Tonight will be the 3rd time for me going. I enjoy the food, prices, seating, everything about this place. The acts are always different, its clean, and easy to get to. Very helpful staff in person and on the phone. Highly recommend.

First time here and i loved it. It a nice small place. Seating can be a little tight but other than that its a great place. Plenty of parking on and off street. Fun time, definitely coming back.

Great venue to go catch some laughs! They bring in some pretty big names in stand up comedy too. Very intimate atmosphere, as there is not one bad seat in the house. They also have a nice selection of drinks and some food too. Make sure to try the crack fries; they call them that for a reason! Highly recommended to bring a date.

If you have friends that have never seen stand-up comedy, take them! Too many people I talk to have never been to a show, and the Comedy Connection is a perfect place for first timers! Its cozy, great acoustics, great wait staff and Ive never had a bad time there. Even the shows with comics youve never heard of are worth going to. Dont make your decision on whether or not youve heard of the act before! I will give you 10 dollars if you dont have an awesome time.Dont heckle the comedians, I dont care how funny you think you are or how offended you are. Laugh if it makes you laugh, if it doesnt make you laugh, just dont laugh. Dont start yelling to the comedian about it or you will be verbally destroyed. Or do, its a blast to watch comedians destroy hecklers!

This was my second time there and I had a great time, good drinks and food, comedians where all funny and my headliner guy was awesome. Great place to take a date.

Great venue, small and personal. They pull in some very good talent for a small market. Service was good but spotty.

Always a good time. Seats are at tables all close together, but they do a good job of not packing the place to the point where someone is sitting on your lap. They have your average bar food fare, but the staff is very attentive, and weve been able to see a couple big name people for less than the cost of a dinner out. Makes for a great night out/date night.

This place has a pretty good environment, always has a great selection of comics. They bring in some pretty big Talent pretty frequently. Even the local Comics are really solid that they get from Boston Providence area. They serve food and its not bad with comparable pricing on the drinks you wont be disappointed. Its surprising but the servers are pretty efficient on getting drinks to you and your food out. Im a two thumbs upper for the comedy connection

Came to see Samuel J Comroe, great show. Drinks were excellent. Would definitely come back and we drove 2 hours to get here!

Went to early show on Saturday. Was packed with happy people. Had the smores Martini pizza and cracked fries. It was all well prepared and delicious, better than average bar food for sure. Comedian was absolutely hilarious too.

Comedy connection is getting better every year I come and visit! No need to plan, just come down on a random Friday or Saturday and you will be amazed at just how much you can laugh! Warning for those who decide to sit up front! You will be picked on by the comedians, but its all in good fun! :)

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Comedy Connection. I love that they have a full bar and food service - truly a great way to enjoy a show. Lots of beers on tap, mixed drinks, and a bar-food menu (including mozzarella triangles, fried pickles, and pizza). Also, since it’s kind of like a large restaurant with a stage at one end (opposite the bar), there isn’t a bad seat in the house! And it’s great for groups, as long as you get there early (it fills up quickly!!). Of course, make sure you tip your servers/bartenders well because on a busy show (we saw Samuel J Comroe, of America’s Got Talent fame), they’re working their butts off. Very cool place to catch some very cool comedians.

The club itself has a great layout, but the nights main act - Tom Arnold - sucked big time. The opening acts were better than him. I will go back though; its a great spot to spend a couple of hours.

Small club so you can always see the performer except... many of the seats are turned sideways and are very close together. I dont mind family style seating, but its really very cramped in a lot of spots. Food service can be quite slow, and food quality is OK. Staff is very nice and ticket prices are reasonable. Careful you dont park on the street in ticket zone (check signs), but there are free lots to use.

The security at the door feels a bit excessive, but thats only an issue when entering. Once inside, the service is friendly and quick. The comedians are always hilarious! When leaving my stomach was sore from all of the laughing.

Good room. Very intimate feel with good sight lines to the stage. Staff was pleasant. Cocktail list could use some updating.

Too crammed in to be comfortable, decor is not pleasant (the chandelier almost looks plastic).Its sad because the Victorian design of the inside of the building is quite beautiful. Its dark, very dark, not pleasant. It looks like a seedy mafia strip joint.Sundays they have a comedy improv of sorts that lasts two hours... which seemed one hour too long. (An intermission would be nice).We were there for a friend and unfortunately they put her on next last.Ive been to alot of these comedy joints over the years so Im drawing off of experience.Im thinking its the cramped feel that bothered me the most.Workers were friendly so thats why I gave them a 3.Place just needs a little TLC I think...

Really cool comedy club in an old bank. The green room is a bank vault. Quality talent is booked here regularly. No drink minimum. Providence is fortunate to have such a great venue for comedy.

I was told their computer was not working, so I had to write my name and phone number on a little piece of paper, securing tickets for tomorrow nights 10:30 Nikki Glaser show. I asked if Ill need a receipt for tomorrow night when I get there, and they said that I dont, as my name will be on the list to get in. Id be much more comfortable with some kind of receipt, or actual tickets, but they couldnt give me either tonight. So this is what I had to settle for to see the show!....I give Comedy Connection a 5-star rating. Since I was concerned about not getting a receipt or tickets last night, I gave a 3-star rating to defer giving a rating. I apologize to Cory if a 3-star rating is viewed as a negative rating! I have been enjoying shows here since the early 90s. Its a great comedy club!

This place is great! Food and drinks are reasonable priced, shows are inexpensive and they get some great national acts. Ive been at least dozen times and in past few years, staff is always quick and attentive. You cant ask for a better small club experience

Always a good show here. Ive seen some more famous comedians and some locals here and theyre all excellent. The clubs intimate atmosphere makes it a unique experience compared to shows at large halls of hundreds or thousands of people.

Very upsetting to call a place and check if tickets were sold out 15min before the show and be told that they were not sold out and that we could go in, only to realize when we got there that we would get stopped by the security people and be told that we could not go in because they were SOLD OUT.Really, come on now. Just communicate a little.

Very tight space for a comedy club. Would have preferred a series of long bar tables parallel to the stage as opposed to perpendicular dining tables. Staff were quite friendly and very efficient given the large crowd size. Cannot say enough good things about them! Drinks and food were, not surprisingly, very limited, over priced, and not of great quality, but what do you expect at stand up clubs? Location was a little sketchy, but I guess thats how you keep down overhead costs. Wouldnt mind returning for the right act. Just get there early as seating is a free for all.

Definitely fun and different! Our seats were on the side even though we made reservations, that was pretty lame. I was also turned off by the fact that you could not order your own drinks at the bar unless you sat at it for the entire performance. Then the service at the table is tremendously slow and convoluted.

It was OK. The performers only had six minutes each. That included the headliner who was like the others in all ways, except that he was last. The pizza was edible. The beer was good.
