1st time paddling the creek. Had a blast. Pioneer Village is a walk through history. Definitely a must see and the wildlife resource is well taken care of. Alot of dedicated volunteers open the village and wildlife center on the weekends. Worth the drive to check it out.

We went here with a group of cub scouts from pack 114 and it was a good time. I found out from their wildlife education center that my son loves snakes because they have a neat room where kids can touch a few animals and even hold snakes! They had a really nice display of taxidermy from area wildlife throughout the facility and an active beehive that bees can come and go to make honey. Really cool. They have trails that you can hike as well, which is what we did while we were there. If you are a nature lover and you find yourself in the area, check it out. there are plenty of things to see.

I could not believe this wonderful place was tucked away. My family had a blast doing the scavenger hunt. The only complaint and reason they are not A 5 star for me, there was no changing table in the bathroom and I have two little ones.

Wonderful, wonderful place. Grand daughters loved it. People there very knowledgeable. Talked with girls about animals. No one talked down to them. Had places where kids are encouraged to touch n explore. Had live animals also. Not enough parking. Énjoyed special weekend activities they had during summer. Good variety. Kept children learning n thinking thru summer.
