Jamilah has been my go to for henna for years now. Holidays, birthdays, vacation or just because, Jamilah always has great designs to offer and is personable as well. I always enjoy our chats and meet ups. I would recommend Jamilah for parties, events, and for one on one appointments.

I have had my henna professional done by Jamilah for many years! She is the only henna artist I trust because she uses a homemade henna which she makes from plant-based ingredients. It is also, perfect for different skin types! In addition to that, her prices and more than reasonable and her designs are unique and immaculately done. She is incredibly friendly and always strives to make sure her customers have the best possible experience when working with her! I would highly recommend her for your next event whether it be a wedding, birthday, fair, or as a vendor! You will not be disappointed!

DON’T DISCUSS PRICING with this business unless you want to be disrespected. Unfortunately Jamilah does not understand the value of customer service. Being someone who is inexperienced with henna and henna pricing for bridal purposes, I was confused by the pricing and such. I was honestly a bit surprised by how much it cost. That being said it makes sense as to why it cost as much as it does. However Jamilah was extremely rude when I was trying to discuss potential pricing for bridal henna. It’s her duty as a business to explain to the customer why things cost as much as they do and make them comfortable with the price. That’s what all vendors do, especially for weddings. Instead I received an extremely rude email suggesting I was arguing with her about pricing and that she will “bow out” now. Can someone please explain how that is good customer service. If someone is willing to pay more you need to make them comfortable as to why. It’s not like I go get bridal henna done everyday anyway, I’m not familiar with the pricing.

Jamilah is a truly amazing artist and person! I asked her to be a vendor at a community event at my studio and I will definitely ask her back again! She is professional and gracious with customers, upfront in regards to pricing. I also work for a local non profit arts organization and Jamilah donates her time and talent to fundraisers there also. I always get a ton of compliments when I am wearing her henna creations! A++++

I have seen Jamilah and watched her put henna on many people at parties and festivals. Finally, I decided on just one small heart. When I inquired, she told me where the henna came from and how she mixed the henna herself. She told me how it stains the skin and about aftercare. I loved my little heart and have graduated from the little heart to a finger design, a hand, and then a hand and wrist design. I love her creations. She puts me at ease and I look forward to getting henna every chance I get!

I have been getting henna done by Jamilla for years! She is truly amazing and makes the entire experience enjoyable. I usually let her surprise me and do her own thing on me and she never disappoints. Her henna stains beautifully and lasts a very long time and her designs are out of this world. I went to a Mehndi party for a wedding. I asked her just to put something organic on my leg, well she did and I loved it enough to have it made into a permanent tattoo. My one and only tattoo I might add!
