Nice big regional park with lots of activities to do throughout the year. Visited recently to take photos of my daughters family for their Christmas card. There were plenty of good background areas for the photo shoot. We plan to return periodically to experience this parks beauty and amenities.

Eagle state park is great to walk the dog along the river. We walk there almost every day. Cant wait to try my luck for some trout.Pretty popular with the horse riders too. I often see several trailers and sometimes meet them. There is lots of space for them to ride. My dog loves the horse poop. Wish there wasnt so much. Ah well.Leashes are required but at least 2/3 people dont seem to leash. I do but it hasnt been a problem yet.Theres swimming in the summer and sliding in the winter as well as zip lines.Highly recommend. Love Idaho!

Giving Eagle Island park a fifth star, I realize, because of the enjoyment experienced there during every single visit. That, as opposed to magnificent vistas and paved trails and smiling park rangers at every turn. Somehow the place manages to be restorative without that tony stuff. A place to get away, to stretch legs and thoughts. To revel in solitude.

This is a great park to spend the day exploring. Plenty to do with family of all energy levels. The kids playground is top notch, my kids spent 40+ minutes lost in the fray. Great place to host a large gathering and plenty of covered patios to avoid the sun. Trails/bike paths span the park and are easy enough to navigate for the less avid or jogging stroller.

This is a great all over family place. It has fishing, swimming, a park, you can pay to go on the slide or zip line and it also offers horse rides booked in advance. There are many picnic beaches but i would suggest coming as early as possible so you can pick a great spot as they fill up fast in the summer months.

Eagle Island State Park is a 545 acres public state park which was established in 1983. Its elevation is 2524 ft. The park offers swimming, boating, playing volleyball and disk golf, beach and picnic area, equestrian trails, a water slide and a zip line.Went there with my friends. Enjoyed spending the day in the park a lot. If you want a day out, you can keep the park on your list.

My mom makes it a priority for us to go here at least once a year. It is one of my most cherished memories ever since I was little. There is a lot to like but, mostly its a great place for swimming. For anyone else who wants to get a little bit extra from the experience you can schedule ahead and try out the Parks zip lines or water slide.

The park is very large and easy to find a place to have a picnic. Paying for parking is annoying if you dont have the park pass. Playing disc golf here is fun. I have never done the zip lines but hope to at some point. Its nice to have a place where you can do so many activities at one spot.

Such a great park. The disc golf is very challenging and fun. The only issue there is all the cheat grass. I’ve had to pitch a few pairs of socks after playing there. Swimming around the lake there is great and I enjoy riding or running around the perimeter of the park.

Huge park, with lots of bar be ques and tables provided. Plenty of room for folks to bring their own tables, chairs, etc. There is a large man made lake. People could bring paddle boards, inflatables, or could rent them at the park. There is fishing allowed, remotely, away from the crowds. There is also a large water slide available. Admittance is $5 per vehicle. There is also a charge for the water slide: $5 for 8 rides, $10 for 15.

My family lives this place. Great beach area for the kids to play in and the area thats roped off for swimming is shallow enough for my 7 year old to go out into with the water level not passing her neck. They have a playground and lots of concessions as well as a giant slide ($1 a ride), but honestly we spend all of our time in the water. There are trails all around the island for horseback riding and they have a nice Frisbee golf course, just be careful as its full of water hazards (not a beginners course). In the hot summer, expect lots of company...it may be a hidden gem to many but the locals know about it!!
