My boys LOVE this place!!! Staff is so friendly, helpful and have fun with the kids too! It’s always very clean and it’s great for me to work on my laptop while the kiddos have fun. HIGHLY recommend! Looking forward to having parties here!

I always wanted to try vr since it looked so fun, and you get to be in the game. My kids had tons of fun and want to come back for their birthdays. They have games for everyone.

Came in to celebrate my anniversary and Luke was amazing as soon as we came in! Just made everything fun and easy! We LOVED the Rick and Morty Game and evening being able to do our own a games but still talk to one another. Definitely will be returning and bringing more friends to have fun with! We have an autistic son who my wife and took to VR1 Arcade. We all played and had an incredible time. For me, the best part was meeting and speaking with the owner. Very smart and polite (as well as the employees). The owner educated my wife and I on the benefits virtual reality gaming has on autistic children/ people. So much so that my wife offered her tax services/advice to him any time he needs. She did this because we saw (and learned) of the benefits of VR gaming for children like our own. Please visit VR1 Arcade and support the wonderful work they are doing. These types of establishments are needed across the country to the hope (even if its only for a short time), the benefits we witnessed with our son and learned about from the owner and his staff.

Reserved the VIP Event for my step sons birthday party. Hailey was able to book me a time that worked for us. Hailey, and her co-worker (young guy with blond hair who I forgot his name) were extremely helpful in setting us up with the VR equipment, walking us through games we got stuck on, and being extremely patient with the kids, because we know, they are difficult. They had the room for and allowed us to bring cake, drinks, ice cream, and gifts. Thank you for the experience and we plan to come book another event in the future!

Every time we have brought our kids here they have had nothing but fun times. The staff is always nice and very knowledgeable of the games and helpful with the kids. One of these days the husband and I will just come and have fun ourselves.

I had two 14 year olds playing while my husband and I had dinner. The guys working (Luke and Brenden) were super impressive and helpful. At one point, Luke answered my sons for him to let me know he was in a game but doing great. The boys have never had so much fun! Next time we are in Boise this is on our must do list!

We love it here! We have completed Arizona Sunshine, which is a zombie apocalypse game, however there are many games to choose from, even ping pong! Super fun for kids and they are always super cleanly! Prices are reasonable as well! 9/10

About two days ago I got the monthly subscription. I was there today for about 2 and a half hours today,plus I met the owner today. It was refreshing to see how professional he was and the vision he had for the future of his business. I overheard him training one of his employees today and listening to him train one of his employees I could feel how much he loved his business and how much he cared about his customers. I would highly recommend going in just to see what its about.

Paid $45 for 2 hours of VR gamer time! First time coming here and it was fun! I came with a buddy and we both had a good experience here. If you are a Covid freak, stay away. By that I mean worried about getting the rona. Only problem was the drive to get to this place in Eagle. I am not docking points off because we had a great time and laughs trying different VR games.

Second time here was my absolute favorite. Andrew (or Andrue I’m not sure how he spells it) was AWESOME and super chill. IF YOU EVER READ THIS I GOTTA SEE YOU DO BEAT SABER. Anyway, 12/10 recommend to go here!

Such a fun place. They are so patient with all my kids figuring out the virtual life. We had so much fun we got an unlimited pass. Now we know what to do with our summer.

They asked my friend and I to come back a half hour later during their meeting. I didnt want to at that point. Was okay experience. The controllers seemed low grade. Ive played other v.r. machines much better. They gave us coupons. But okay rated. Wont go back.

This place is great for date night or just something fun to do with friends on a quiet night. I would highly recommend dodgeball if you come in with a group as it’s a good level of competition! Definitely go and check it out yourself!

We had so much fun here. The staff was friendly and helped out the kids so much with their games they played. We had discounted passes which allowed us to have a lot of time for little money. We will be back again soon.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Had a 10 year olds birthday party there and would GLADLY do it again. Great setup, great staff, and so quiet that the adults didnt even have to raise our voices to converse (which is next to impossible at any kids party). Not to mention all the kids had an absolute BLAST!

Excellent customer service. Had a birthday party for a group of ten 8 and 6 year old boys. The girls had incredible patience with the excitement of the all the boys and made sure they all had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good equipment but a little pricey

The staff was very friendly, and they explained all the controls to everything on their HTC Vive units. Their game selection is fairly good, but they are missing a few games that are popular in VR, such as Skyrim, Doom, and Fallout 4.

Absolutely an amazing family experience.... been twice so far for an hour each. The only frustrating piece is the kids constantly asking if I reserved for us to go back.... its like all the time! Not hey dad how was your day, we love you, can I help you with something, I miss you,...its hey dad when are we going back to the virtual reality place...*eye roll (secretly I want to go back as well). Anyway, staff is excellent and attentive. Definitely worth the price for an hour of fun. I love that we can do our own thing or link up together. This is becoming a reoccurring family thing... like pizza night (but healthier)! You need to try it at least once.

I cannot say enough about Brendon and his set-up! I love the hands on help and instructions he provided! His staff was just as fun to work with. What an amazing time we live in to have this type of facility available! If you hadnt tried VR yet like me, theres no reason not to come give it a shot. Its such a unique experience that everyone should try it at least once. VR1 Arcade has a bunch of games to choose from, single and multiplayer, relaxing and action packed. Considering the price of a VR headset, its a good deal, though expensive compared to normal arcades. The staff were very helpful in guiding you. My main difficulty was in figuring out some games controls, and there were some loading times. You pay for a time slot, which makes it more pressured to rush into things. The VR tutorial eats into the time slot for about 6 minutes, which is a minor bummer. Lastly, Id heard VR can give you motion problems, and thats definitely the case. On one of the games with free character movement, my balance was totally thrown off. This is only a problem with more advanced games. Your eyes might start to hurt after an hour or so.Overall, Id definitely recommend you try it.

Very cool experience. I took my son and his friends there a couple of times but never played it myself until yesterday. All I can say is WOW! That was amazing ! I am somewhat of anti-video game type person but I have to say it was a lot of fun. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Id like to go again sometime.

The VR games they offer are really fun, plus they do a wristband thing where the more often you go, the cheaper it gets. Great for gift cards too. The only thing is that there arent really very many stalls. So only like 4ish people can go at a time. Worth the wait though! The staff are really nice and they help you if you get stuck on a game or confused

This place is amazing. My son thinks it is the best. The staff are exceptional. They are very friendly and so helpful, if you have never done it learning is a breeze with the staff. If you like gaming this place is a must.

This place was so much fun! The workers were all very professional, kind, and patient even though I was struggling at some bits because it was my first time. We all will definitely be back again for the experience.

This place was awesome!! My boyfriend and I had never had any experiences with virtual reality before going here and they impressed us a lot. They talked and walked us through the entire process and told us the best games to try and it was overall a blast. The environment was safe and fun and we are definitely going back ASAP!

I didnt participate but I enjoyed watching my son celebrate his 10th birthday with a small group of his closest friends. The staff was knowledgeable, personable, and really cared to make sure each kid was having a successful, fun session. The staff was so engaged and patient with the kids... plus they made my son feel extra special on his birthday. Also, the facility is a great layout: smaller, not overstimulating, and has a nice place for sitting/watching.

So much fun and games that are so realistic. I had a great time shooting arrows at trolls from a castle tower and playing against my friend in a game of futuristic racquet ball. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Staff is great. Brought my kids a few times and they always loved it. I tried this time as well and had a great time as an adult. Not the cheapest thing to do, but buy the punch card and pretty reasonable.

My 14 year old son had his birthday party at VR1. He and his friends had a great time and I am planning his 10 year old brothers birthday party there as well! I was impressed by the staff as well as the cleanliness and the fact that they offer a variety of themes that appeal to all ages. We are looking forward to our next adventure there!

Discovered this place when searching for things to do in Boise at night with our 8 year old. He begged us to check it out so we hopped in the car and drove down to see what it was about. Staff was super friendly and allowed him to do a tutorial before we paid. He loved it! Did half hour for the first visit. As soon as he was done he asked when we could come back. They do recommend that you have a reservation (can book on their website) to make sure there is availability. Looks like we have found a new weekly activity!

The best VR arcade in boise!!

This was the first time I have ever experienced virtual reality. I was very impressed with my experience. To me it seemed very realistic. The only recommendation would be to have the workers give some advise on which games to pick. I feel that there was some wasted time trying to figure out what to play. I will be going back though.

This was one of the coolest experiences Ive ever had gaming !!!!! The owner was very friendly and his Co worker Andrew was very friendly as well. My 7yr old daughter tried it and freaked out because of how real it was , but Andrew was so helpful and polite even and patient with her . He helped us pick out what games would be better for me as a new player .. Thank you gentlemen for the awesome experience! !! I highly recommend everyone to try google earth on the vr !!!!

Very cool atmosphere and future-compatible gaming destination. The owner, Brenden, was on-site. A ton of games to choose from! We wont be back on account of the following; equipment malfunctions absorbed time as needed multiple adjustments from a highly inexperienced staff (although super friendly), we were lured in stating our 8 & 11 year old boys would be just fine but being called too young when experiencing issues was off putting, Brenden was not receptive to feedback which shows a lack of desire to improve the business and related practice... often times displacing to the independent game developers.

This experience is soooo awesome! I loved it, immerse yourself in different scenarios, games, like youre actually there. Amazing.....the future of entertainment.

I recently tried VR for the first time in this establishment and my experience was amazing. The staff makes the dynamic gaming process easy to learn which is incredibly helpful and they have enough titles to go back for weeks! Very impressed.

VR1 was a great experience for our elementary students. They absolutely loved it! We took 17 students who took it in turns to use the VR technology to explore a variety of games. The students loved playing games and exploring different environments, they found it particularly inspiring as they are currently working on a game design project at school.Owner Brendan was extremely helpful and accommodating and interacted so well with the students. Communication was clear and Brendan worked with us to make the experience affordable, meaningful and fun.From exploring ancient Egyptian tombs to job simulation games, the possibilities that exist to tie learning in the classroom to a VR experience are endless...I would encourage any teacher to contact Brendan at VR1 to learn more.
