Its nice and big. The people that work there are extremely nice and real respectful. I dont go to Casinos very much because gambling is one of the Vices that I dont have. This is the first time that Ive been here and the only reason that Im here is because a friend of mine needed someone to ride with her so she wouldnt have to be alone driving to and fro. So I got elected for the task. Its all good. They do deserve that rating too.

We decided that this Casino could keep us occupied for a bit and it did. We ate at the buffet, which was pricey but a nice employee coached us on how to get it free. This buffet is really nice, clean, organized and they serve you instead of you breathing over the food to serve yourself. Gaming was decent but not great. It made for a nice Thanksgiving.

Great casino. lots of games , they like to give you free rooms and everyones very friendly... oh one thing , theres nowhere in there that has good food .....one place to eat and it always suxs , been sitting to long ....

We enjoyed ourselves very much at this casino. The bars, games, restaurants, bowling alley, and arcade were all fun and entertaining. The drinks were very good and the people who work there all seemed to be nice and polite. They have a shuttle (handicap accessible) to pick you up at the campground across the street, the driver was a super nice guy.

We havent been here since Covid and while we love this casino, we were a little surprised by how many people were allowed at the tables. They do have disinfectant wipes all over which was nice. Overall it was a good experience.

Great casino and atmosphere. However, my opinion; the Saturday night buffet is a bit on the pricey side at $40/person. still had a great time. oh, the buffet prime rib server could have added that 1 more star to make it 5 if he wouldve listened.

The casino is fun but on Halloween night it was way too smoky! This was the 1st time noticed the smoke. I even got sinus sick for a week from too much smoke exposure! I like the games in the smoking section better but may be forced to stay in the non smoking part if the ventilation cant keep up in the future! Besides that, the staff are nice, the place is clean, promos are good and machines are in good repair.

Well I always love playing the slots but Ive never won anything here. The machines tease you and so on, keep playing sir we want your money$$$ haha but I know theres always a chance to hit it big so its fun. Quite a few folks here during a time of pandemonium fury but masks and social distancing is widely publicized and respected. Good LUCK!!!

Had a great time. Buffet is always wonderful. Did not win much but broke even, so all is well with the world. We will be back soon. Always fun and exciting time, never know what will happen. The staff is always great service was fantastic. Love Choctaw Casino food and fun all in one place.

I liked that they had someone at the drink station almost at all times. I didnt have to wait around to get a drink. Place is very clean...and lots of fun games.

Love this casino! Ive been here a couple of times and I just found out they have a whole non smoking section and its great! Its all the way in the back and its perfect for those who dont smoke.

Overall I had the best experience here. It was my first time going to a casino. I loved it so much a week later Im on a trip back. This second trip the casino gave me a room and some credits too to play after completing a few questions sent via email. Great place to get away. Friendly staff great food clean facility. A+++.

Really nice room, casino is nice, comps are very poor, nothing really in place for covid19 other than mask and sanitizer which half are empty and announcements about mask. Smokers Rome free holding cigarettes not wearing mask. After midnight it was hard to find anyone following mask rules and not enforced. In 2 days we virtually saw no servers bringing drinks. Overall about a low B for a grade. Probably be better off going elsewhere if time permits. I would stop again for a few hours, but not worth the weekend excursion.

Always great fun when we come here!Many choices, hotels are nice, pricey like the gambling but you have to go down the street to OKIE DONUTS when you visit here, it should be mandatory! Be Safe Everyone!

Once again traveling the back roads with barely a plan in mind. 69 dropped us off on 75 a couple miles south of Durant. So we went to Choctaw. It was very busy which was cool after being away from crowds so long. I didnt have the success i enjoyed last week but you cant win them all. Didnt check prices on the rooms but i would like to stay at this location as well. I would definitely share the experience here and on The Common Sense Channel on anchor.fmHowever i did have little luck on the slots as shown in pictures below.

Really enjoyed gambling there, cleaning crews very active. Hotel very quite and easily accessible. Buffet very good and service extremely good.

Even though the new building is still under construction, this place was PACKED! So much fun, and people were winning like crazy! Make the time to visit this place on Saturdays, you wont regret it!

Oklahomas biggest secret. Didnt know the size of big cadino hotel. Filled with cars, especially Texas tags, that filled every parking slot on a Saturday night. Beautiful with lots to do. Went with family to enjoy. Make points and get a comped room in luxurious hotel.

Hotel was clean and really convenient. Casino was nice and 24 hours. BUT, the restaurants and food stuff close by 8/11.

This is one of my favorite casinos. Clean, amazing staff, good flow of games with much entertainment values in atmosphere. I wish I could live on site as a retire lol.

Shuttle is awesome! Staff were friendly and helpful... Guests not so much.. guess they were loosing too much money to be nice.

My husband and I always have a great time here. We just take it easy, play the slots and forget about the outside world for a while. Except for our kids Cant ever forget them.

Yes I lost the money I brought to afforded to lose. But I had a wonderful quality time out with my son. And a great change of environment with the covid thing. Just remember never take more than you can afford to lose, and you will have a wonderful time.

I love Choctaw Casino and Resort. It is an amazing resort that has something for the entire family, whether you gamble or not. The staff is always friendly. The casino is clean. I love the new non-smoking section! It is huge! Eat your heart out, Winstar... you have nothing on Choctaw.I look forward to the completion of the new additions. Last but not least, I love receiving multiple hand pays during my stay!

The buffet is the best Ive ever seen.You can stay on a diet if you want to. There are a lot of delicious healthy foods. But youd be foolish to skip the wonderful desserts. The macarons are the best Ive ever eaten. Everyone at the casino is friendly and nice. Cant wait to return.

Their social distancing setup is a farce. They dont have any partitions at all in the gaming area, and they dont enforce their mask wearing policies are all. Felt very unsafe and overly disappointed. Oh, their buffett is open if you like your coronavirus nice and fresh.

Real good locked a machine when i went real fun plus they have a no smoking zone and a arra for.the kids to play

Went for the first time in 8 months early this morning. Theyre doing a good job with masks and sanitizers. But, in the 4 hours we were there, I never saw anyone cleaning down any machines. I saw the usual sweeping the floors and such. But, no cleaning. There was also the usual trash sitting between the machines like Ive seen in the past, before covid. So, not much has changed in the cleanliness. It did smell better, though. I also didnt see the social distancing that I thought there would be. We saw a few game tables with someone sitting in every seat, and the seats werent spread apart. I feel like, if they were doing their due diligence in trying to protect their patrons at the beginning, they have since started getting quite lax now. It was rather disappointing.

If I could live there full time I would. I absolutely love this place. Not because I have won a ton of money there ( I actually have) It is the variety of things they offer up for entertainment besides gambling. And the beautiful women there on Friday and Saturday night doesnt hurt your eyes either. Maybe now they will put me in the penthouse suite of that fancy new hotel they are building.

Is clean, amazing buffet, and you earn rewards while playing. The have practice social distancing, youre require to wear a mask. And most if all there is a whole south casino smoke free.

Usually win or break even. Smoking allowed so thats a downside. Not a huge food selection but thats ok. Asian place is the best and the steak house. Prices vary fur each place. Parking and staff are great. Has pool area but I havent ventured that way yet. Beds are comfy and rooms are up to date.

We enjoy going to this casino. They are always welcoming, even with everything going on in the world. The rooms are clean, the food is good and the pool is one of the best places to hangout and relax for awhile. We recently bowled and this too was a great activity. There are so many fun activities to do besides slots and table games. My family and I really feel relaxed when visiting Choctaw Casino and resort!

On a larger scale was just passing thru, he did have lots of amenities to offer. Theres a hotel attached to the casino plus a restaurant. Also you download one point and free play which is $1 and you go spin a wheel for a chance to win up $100 worth of free play. but the free play is not transferable from machine so you have to be careful on how much you download of your free play.

The rooms and pill area are beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. The hotel staff are very polite and knowledgeable. Food/restaurant selections are tasty. We saw E. T. the movie at the theater. Roulette table was good to me.

Roughly half of the size of Winstar and much more like a Vegas casino. A bit easier to win here than Winstar, but your mileage may vary. Just as crowded, so the Rona potential is there, since they werent enforcing temperature checks or really any other rules concerning containment. Lots of road construction going on. Itll look fabulous in a couple more years.

For the most part we have fun each time we go. There are times the money doesnt last long enough, machines take to much at first,But if you can last it works ok. Guess thats why its called gambling ha!!!

This casino is so nice! We ate at the breakfast buffet this morning and food was super. The bathrooms were very clean and all the personnel were knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately. we usually only get by there every year on the way and when returning from OU-tx ballgame. B O O M E R !

Choctaw is a good place to have fun even with the kids theres all kinds of entertainment for the whole family.

From the moment you walk in the door you can see that theres absolutely no enforcement whatsoever on masks. Everywhere you go you can see that people are not wearing masks. Not a single person sanitizing machines during the entire visit.

I dont know why others go but Choctaw casino and resort Durant helps me to get out of my head I dont go to win money but if I do I dont complain lol

Practically NO handicapped parking.Sunday evening, Sept. 2020. Entrances were limited & masks were required. The older part of the casino was clean & not too crowded. (That is the side with The District, a kid friendly zone.) Parking was a disaster though. They have many of their lots closed because of construction of a new hotel that will feed into The District and that means, NO handicapped parking in that area right now.

Its always a party. Always a really good time. The dealers keep their own tips so it makes for a better atmosphere than a casino that tip pools; for obvious reasons

The buffet is really good, but too expensive, and comped meals are non-existent. The slots are too tight, no ones winning anything. Youre lucky if you can break even or you dont go home completely busted.completely.

It was so much fun. My husband and I went for our 15 year anniversary even through all the covid it was cery fun and very clean they were cleaning the whole time we was there. Had signs for no smoking but adults dont listen at all or read very well there was plenty of people smoking.

Great casino really nice hotel an kids love the pools. Great place to see a concert. Only complaint I have is their buffet is not worth what they charge 80 bucks for me an the wife to eat somewhat decent food. It used to be well worth it but sadly has gone down hill. I wouldnt recommend it but they have other options that would be a better choice.

Gaming was great, but cafeteria service at the salad bar was uncomfortable. They were rude and raised their voice at me when I asked for them to give me a piece of cake. I wish we could just reach out and take what we want so we dont have to bother them. If they dont like their job they should work at a different place instead of being rude to customers. We have to depend on them for service. Its not the customers fault.

The Choctaw are working on making this a great resort for the family. Currently expanding and adding another casino and hotel in addition to the very large one that already exists. While most non-smoking sections in casinos are an afterthought, that is not the case here. They have one of largest non-smoking casino sections in the USA, if not the largest, and they didnt skimp on the variety of games, from slots to tables in this section. Dont worry smokers, your section is twice as large.For family activities, theres swimming, bowling, a game room, and a multi-screen cinema. Theres a variety of restaurants and a reasonably priced food court.Theres a Choctaw owned travel center across the street with ample parking for Semi Trucks, a separate parking area closer to the Casino for RVs, and a shuttle bus service to and from these over-sized vehicle lots.Theres also a convention center and meeting rooms for business or group events.

Had fun. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the ticket redemption machines dont have change so you had to stand in line at the cashier to get all of your $ back.

Loved this place!! Went there for my bday. Soooooo much better than Winstar. Much cleaner, and family friendly. The non smoking section was huge and I kid you not.... smelled like Downy drier sheets! Now for you smokers ..... the smoking side is even bigger. Plenty of slots and tables throughout. Cant wait to go back. Please hit like if this helps you.

Attention to detail and hygienic protocols very good. Only complaint is with facemasks required they allowed smoking in main casino. Defeated the purpose of masks with smokers pulling masks off and puffing away. Went to district area and it was perfect with all in masks and social distancing. Felt safer

First time we have been to Choctaw Durant since beginning of Covid and honestly it was a pleasant surprise. Nice greeting from security (followed by a funny story)as he was ensuring mask requirement was being adhered to. Hope the non-smoking areas remain after this quarantine. Great job, Choctaw! We had an enjoyable time blowing our money.

Was ok. Gilleys restaurant always has good food. People dont wear their masks like they are supposed too. But you have to drink your beer and smoke, so oh well .

Its clean its huge and I never win anything here .theres a place for kids im the district movie theater a bowling alley and several eating places like smash burger they have awesome burgers there .gillets bar ..its a great place the whole family can enjoy

Just stopped overnight in the abandoned parking lot to catch some zzzs. Security came around and all was fairly quiet.

I like that they made the lower (original) side non smoking but you cant usually get to it without going through the smokers side. All the renovations see to make the slot machines thighter.

This place had overflowing ash trays and I was really surprised that it was as nasty as it was. Tight machines. We were there for over 6 hours and not one time did we hear one person that hit a jackpot and was screaming with excitement. The slot machines were very very tight. Will be going to Winstar next time.

Nothing outstanding. But when you sign up for the first time you get atleast $10 to play with. But WARNING: you have to play all of the free money on the same machine, no switching, so that was kinda lame....
