Sale barn trailhead is an access point to the telegraph trails system. This network includes Sale Barn, big canyon, and Cowboy trail acces and can be connected in a nice loop for hiking or biking. From Cowboy trail one can connect to the Sidewinder trail and continue further on the where this trail ends with an epic view.The Sale Barn access is a single-track open to hiking, biking, and horseback. No motorized vehicles allowed. The trails are rated easy to moderate - the trails themselves are a combination of soft dirt with intermittent sections of rock and root. Once on top the views open up in all directions, with fantastic views into the La Plata Mountain range and the surrounding peaks.
