Always fabulous service. Very thoughtful response to COVID, as the owner has outdoor seating in both the the front and the back. The owner also worked hard to create clever indoor social distancing options. The happy hour is very reasonable and lasts until 6 I also appreciate the decor, live music, and the cozy atmosphere. I recommend.

First place we visited when we came to Durango. It was so good we came twice during our visit. The food is amazing! They also have a cute outside sitting area decorated with lights and flowers. The inside is amazing as well. I loved the decorations and the live music. Definitely a great place to stop and eat if you’re in Durango!

Such a great place! We visited on a Saturday during happy hour with great deals! We got margaritas, tacos and Tex French fries that were all delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and everything came out in a timely manner. We would definitely go back!

We travel a lot and its so awesome to find little locally owned restaurants like this. The decor is super cool. Old timy meets modern. Comfy with just enough space. The music is great and the perfect level. The food was amazing!!! We had burgers, southwest fries and salad. Not disappointed!!! Couldnt stop eating it was so delicious!! Brian, our server was amazing. Even got the girls (Annie and Alyssa) to help us with suggestions on bakeries. Brian even called the bakery for us! Thats service that is over and above. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Highly suggest!

Really good wings. They are not very crunchy but the amazing sauce makes up for it. I also love their glowing trees and social distancing booths. They make me feel like Im a VIP sitting in box seats.

Friend and I stopped here for our first trip to Durango. Took our temps to sit outside. Food was decent. Nothing overly spectacular. I find many eating places offer the same food made in different ways. Derailed Pour House is no exception. No complaints.

Cool interior laid back atmosphere. Brian the waiter was absolutely awesome! The food was good but in my opinion a bit pricey both burgers were hand pressed and very tender.

Starters were amazing. So amazing that we didn’t order entrees. The jalapeño poppers were perfect.Also a great beer list.

First off it’s right on Main Street. Google looks like it’s off Main Street. Food is amazing. Portions are huge so pick lightly. No kids menu but you can easily order lighter portion for your young one. We came on a Friday with live music. Music was great and not too loud. If you have kids louder the better right ?! I tried One of the handcrafted drinks and it was amazing. You won’t be disappointed. Also JENN was amazing. Service makes all the difference and was fantastic with our crazy kids.

Great staff and great food, we went there twice on our trip. Surprisingly large portions and the atmosphere was fantastic. All staff wore masks, etc. 100% recomend stopping by and trying!

I truly enjoyed this place. We went during Covid restrictions so there was outdoor seating. This made for the exceptional experience. I am not sure it would have been the same if I was seating inside. We had the Southwest Platter, it was wonderful.

This is one of the most adorable places I have been to. The inside is quirky with multiple different seating areas. The art in the wall is unique and the light up trees were beautiful. They have a large projector screen by the bar.The drink menu requires some focus to try and read as the fonts change based on the drink type and page. The food was excellent.

Very great service, and the food was outstandingly good. Very welcoming to tourists. If you’re a tourist, I recommend that you ask to be seated out back. The natural and local style makes you feel at home.

Omg eat here now. It’s so good. The pulled pork sandwich is hands down the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. The fries are home made and crunchy and perfect. Excellent place for a nice lunch or dinner!

This is my favorite place to eat and drink in Durango. They have awesome decor separating guests and live music on stage. I have not had a drink here that I havent loved!!! I highly recommend this bar/restaurant. The cheese curds are phenomenal.

Absolutely awesome place for tasty meal and drink - prices seem pretty good for the area and flavors were excellent. They have plexiglass on the tables for COVID and seemed to go above and beyond to maintain safety standards as well as cute design of the restaurant. I havent gone out to eat since March when COVID landed, and this made me feel safer than most places. Live music was really nice. Southwest egg rolls were DELICIOUS. Waiter was great! Would go back in a second!

Ordered the DHP Cuban and Loaded Fries; very disappointingFries were warm at best and very limp. Loaded fries somewhat greasy, perhaps due to the undercooked bacon. 2 kinds of cheese melted and raw onions topped it off. Comes with a side of very thin, watery ranch dressingCuban had minimal amount of pulled pork. I believe the menu description is smoked BBQ pulled pork. Couldn’t say the meat had either treatment (smoking and BBQ’ing are different cooking methods). Thin slice of flavorless ham. Sandwich was warm, definitely below normal serving temp. Ciabatta roll was soft.Can’t recommend these menu items

Great live music and a fun atmosphere and setup. The drinks were really nice and bartenders knew what they were doing. They were able to go off menu and be creative with requests.

We were a table of 5 and all of our meals and appetizers were excellent. We will definitely be back.

From the instant me and my family walked in, Derailed is extremely interesting and visually stunning. The lights, decorations and overall vibe of the place is gorgeous. Menus are visually inviting and unique, full of tasty options. Cheese curds are a great appetizer and the hot wings were tasty and of course, very spicy. Soft drinks are also included in nice bottle-like cups. First time we were there and I was very impressed. Will be back.

This place has a great happy hour! This is not a place for fast apps and drinks. It takes a bit of time to get food but everything Ive gotten here is worth the wait. Their blue cheese burger is delicious. It also takes a while to get your check and then takes another while for them to bring back your cash/ cards. I would give 4.5 stars if I could.

Bad service and overcharged! The server was haughty and put off when we asked about the happy hour menu. I ordered a vodka and tonic. Our bill then showed a two dollar charge for tonic. When asked, the server said they had to open a bottle of tonic. Manager then said if I didn’t like it I could write a review! Just think how much extra money they make by slipping extra charges on every bill!! Bad, bad!!!

The place was a winner from the time we stepped in the door. The food was amazing. The derailed chips was a tasty app and i ordered the Southwesr burger which had a flavorful bite. They also have a great draft beer selection. This is a 5 star place!!!

Derailed has some of the best cocktails in town, and the atmosphere is mellow. Great place to enjoy an evening with friends. Their menu is delicious too!

Loved the beautiful decor and live music (amazing female singer with a guitar, wish I remembered her name!). Really friendly service. Go more for the ambience than for dinner, but know the food is pretty good as well. We especially enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip.

Great cocktails. Definitely try the Kentucky Campfire. Small chunks of bacon, smoked in a bell jar with a perfect square ice cube, served to your table make this a spectacular, little, sipper.

First, they are not a brewery (I thought they were), they just have a pretty eclectic selection of craft beers, local CO and around. The ambiance itself is awesome. I love the decor and seating. Servers seemed rushed and not much help in a way of suggestions or info...maybe because we came in close to the kitchen closing. I ordered two tacos (it was Sunday and was supposed to be 2 for 6$) was charged 7$...but I didnt feel like hassling with it. My husband Philly sandwich was good but SMALL for 17.5$ w/ a 4$ upsell for truffle fries. My tacos were just ok. The truffle fries could be crispier and a tad more truffle oil. I did find a beer I adored, and had a couple. Pretty expensive and felt a little underwhelmed overall.

The smell of the food was divine! We did have an appetizer and that was delicious. The beer was decent....nothing really spectacular.

The interior decor was impeccable, a fun space to just look at. The vibe to us, was upscale industrial / modern - but casual. Bar and food.Food was descent - we ordered a taco, burger and cheese fries appetizer. Our food came first after 45 minutes and our appetizer after 50 minutes. Our server didnt charge us for our appetizer which was very nice of her.We probably wont go back - but maybe it was an off day.

Really did like the place and will return again soon...but the burger was undercooked. The beer selection was nice and the nostalgic music videos were more interesting than the game which, by the way, was playing on two huge projection screens. Theres a big fake tree in the back with led lightings and white paper leaves (a bit strange choice for decor). There is a stage in back for live music and the seating is very pub-like. Also a patio in back. Will give the menu, which was somewhat limited, another shot next time.

This place should soon be called “The Poor house” because they turned us away because we had a 14 and 12 year old daughter in which they said there were only 3 available tables for us, even though the place was empty. They were extremely unwelcoming.

Atmosphere atmosphere atmosphere! Great for first dates, celebrations, starting a night or ending a night out. Tons of great music, beer list is deliberate and right for the season. The mixologists are some of the best in Durango and beyond, always have the drink special, and youll know what I mean. The food is great, but Im usually there for the drinks. Get there early on the weekends, as it fills up pretty quick. Get the port-hole if its in season.

This place is great! The southwest platter was so unique and tasty. The wild strawberry basil lemonade was refreshing. Everything was very reasonably priced for the portion size. Our server was on top of making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was fun with old 80’s music videos playing. Definitely will be returning.

I went out in Durango and this place caught my eye because of the live music. I went in and spent the next couple of hours enjoying a huge selection of local craft beers and fantastic live music!

Great atmosphere... If youre only getting drinks.. food is sub-par especially for the price. Service was aweful!! Waitress gave a a dirty plate from the table next to us since we had 5 people in our party and they only gave us a setting for 4 people. Gross! Gave a 2nd star for the atmosphere alone.

Food and service was outstanding. Ordered a salad and they had no issue adding a few extras items. I was amazed at how fresh everything was. This is now a go to when in town.

Went there for a late lunch/early dinner. Service was really good, but the food was just ok. We had the spinach artichoke dip for appetizer which was really good - not overly salty like most places that serve it. For the main course I had the mash burger which wasnt good. Somehow the beef patties were a little dry and not very flavorful and the extra piece of bread they put in the middle of the burger just made it kind of fall apart when you bit into it. My mom got the salad with blue cheese and cranberries which she liked. The Mules we got were strong, but not very flavorful.

This is what Durango is about. Great atmosphere and a great place to hang out and meet people.

Ive given this place a 3 chance.2 stars for atmosphere, fun 80s videos and great live music.As a frequent traveler to Durango where I spend 1 week every month, I am always looking for my goto place. Ironically several months ago, I thought Derailed was it. My first 3 or 4 visits they knocked it out of the park. Great food, great nightly specs, great bartenders and fun live music.Last 3 visits tho are bizarrely bad. Some reason burgers have gone to being half the size of bun... and its a small bun at that. Last time my little frie bucket came out only half full and Itty bitty pieces of fries - therefore overcooked too. Tonights visit, at least full, but again all little micro pieces of fries that were overcooked or near burned. Burger, albeit small, bland and lacking any seasoning.So... I was like.. Just gonna finish 1 beer, go back to hotel, count my losses going back to hotel vs a night out downtown Durango and not be brought down by being critical; which was warranted and appropriate. I just wish restaurant, bar/grills thrived to be better. But then bartender had added 2 beers to my tab. I simply and kindly pointed out the extra charge. First she insisted that I also ordered the pineapple beer (which I never would drink, that alone order) along with my bells ale. I said I only had the 1 and she said fine Ill take it off.I cant give them a 3rd time. I dont believe they are committed to put out top 5 or even top 10 food within the community, despite pricing being higher.
