Brook Run is just the best park for walking, for bringing your kids to play, for bringing your dog, for gatherings, for picnics or for just getting away. The playground is so well done. The skate park is great. The dog area is great. There is lots of space and lots of trails and lots of benches and places. It is a truly great park. I just wish they would turn the water features back on.

This place is huge!! Despite having multiple playgrounds, it was still very packed and not everyone was good about masking up or social distancing. But they do have a nice 2 mile looped trail and tons of groups playing different sports, meditating/yoga, and we even drove past a little farmer’s market like event on the way in. Overall it’s a very nice park and we’d recommend.

This park has it all. You can practice for your 5k, skate, send the kids to the large playground, picnic, host a party under a pavilion, walk on paved or small amount of unpaved trails, see 2 gardens, play soccer, use open fields, host something at the amphitheater, or let the dogs free in the dog park. Its pretty and right by the Treetop Quest.

This is my first time visited Brook Run Park. I took the 2-miles loop trail. And I don’t like it because there are sections of the trail under construction. The photo attached is an area designed to be a future playground. The dirt and smell of asphalt, tar and waxes irritated my allergic rhinitis. This trail connects different parking lots, it is convenient on one hand, but I like a natural view better than parking lot after parking lot view.

This is my favorite park! It’s well maintained. Lots of trees and a little stream to enjoy nature. There is a skate park, dog park, community garden and play ground. There is also a tree top zip line course which seems fun. There is currently ongoing construction to build some new places within the park which I’m not too thrilled about. There are so many places to explore! They also do food truck Thursday’s during summers with live music. Definitely feels like a part of a community

Reviewing for the dog park. Its the best in Atlanta IMO. Lots of space, shade and trails, covered seats where its sunny. Running water, a place outside to wash your dog after playing, parking next to area, well maintained. Soon there should be a rest room relatively close which was my only gripe.

Great park, but had an annoying experience with a dog owner recently who decided to unleash his dog near a picnic area where there was another family as well. The guy keeps throwing a ball that the dog chases after. In a couple of minutes, the dog was all over our food. Then, the dog chased my 6 year old. That is probably more of an exception, otherwise, the park is great.

I like that is park is shaded from the harsh sun and that the pavement is soft to protect the children if they fall. this park is good for all ages, and activities. the play area is huge. my sons thoroughly enjoyed themselves. there are restrooms here as well. I would like if there more lighting in the area because once it gets dark it is DARK and I dont want any unwanted surprises. its in a decent neighborhood which is good.UPDATE: weve been going consistently now. however there is a huge bee issue. something needs to be sprayed. Im noticing children getting nervous because of them, Ive spoken to several parents at the park and they are ready to stop taking their children to this park because of the bee issue. Im not sure whos job this is but I hope it gets resolved soon. also warning about mosquitoes, parents be sure to put off bug spray on little ones, the mini water pond has created an environment to nest this annoying little pest.

Its nice and well maintained park with paved trails,. The main trail is 1.75 miles long with markers for every fourth of a mile you walk and maps located at trail entry points. There is also a open playground with lot of beautiful scenery and shaded areas. There are benches for sitting down and enjoying the day. There are separate places for big and small dogs. There are disposable waste bags along the trail. There are shades playgrounds for all ages. You can have a picnic there. It is out of the way for me, but my greyhound loves this park so much more than Piedmont Park. Overall extremely well maintained. Better sense of community here. Go here often enough and youll see a lot of the same people. Not nearly as populous as Piedmont on any given day. Even though its out of the way, I will take my dog with me for food truck Thursdays, a small but relatively bustling gathering for the Dunwoody community.

We went to the dog park here today. The park itself was very well kept and very nice. It was bigger than I expected. Our experience was great. There were just a lot of dogs. And a lot of dogs tend to lead to a fight breaking out at some point. So that had me worried. Other than that worry it was a great experience. My daughter loved watching all the different breeds play and interact.
