This is a very tough course. It doesn’t drain all that well due to its location. Overall a challenge for the average golfer but worth the trip.

Ive been playing here for many years and have always loved this course. Fairways are in good shape, some bald spots and the greens are always great, although they could have been a bit faster. Paradise tee times have rates in the low $20s.

Please ACTUALLY post a dress code if one exists. On your website, when booking online and in the shop would be 3 great pleaces. Dont continue to be discriminatory against a FEMALE from out of state because you choose to be. If other workers see something, they should have the balls to say something while checking individuals in. Seems that there wasnt a problem in his eyes.

Absolutely humiliated and insulted. Nowhere, when you book or check in, is there a dress code posted either online or in the pro shop. I am wearing a golf skirt, golf shoes, and matching tank when a man comes out and tells me I am not allowed to play. He clearly states that women don’t need a collar but have to have sleeves without one. He proceeds to humiliate me in front of the foursome playing behind us by offering to sell us a shirt. Meanwhile, he says I can drive the golf cart in my current attire but cannot play. I have never experience this kind of sexist discrimination in my life. We will never be playing here again. They did refund my round since my husband had already paid for both of us. I even called to ask where the policy could be found after poking my head around in the pro shop to see if it was posted in there, and he told me it’s not posted anywhere. It was his sole discretion to humiliate me. Women, steer clear. Not a female friendly course, even in proper attire. I was singled out because I am female. This is disgusting.

Oh The Club... we love it here! The golf course is great to play. There is just enough water hazard on the back 9 to challenge you, and the front 9 has sand traps that can swallow you whole! We are members here, but love seeing the public being able to enjoy our treasure. On top of the golf course, they have an excellent club house! They have a First Friday prime rib buffet, Fish Frys, seafood buffets, themed nights with music, wine pairings, innovative dinner specials, etc. They staff feels like family, and they have a great bar. We love to sit on the patio, enjoy the weather, watch other golfers, and enjoy a cocktail after a round. Oh, and how could I forget their brunch?!? The have one of my favorite breakfasts in town! The first time we visited the Dunedin Golf Club, they far surpassed other country clubs we looked at joining. It felt like home there.

Played the course on Saturday and was really looking forward to another great Donald Ross layout. Boy was I disappointed!! The greens were in terrible shape, especially on the front nine, the back nine was only slightly better. The grass on the fairways was sparse and thin in many areas. I had heard so many great things about this course, and the overall conditions were very, very mediocre. We played three other courses in the area (Fox Hollow, Island Course, and Eagles - Forest), and the conditions were night and day between them and Dunedin. The only reason I didnt give one star was that the staff was very nice. Would never play again.

Dunedin Country Club, rated 3-1/2 stars, is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. Very good track for a semi-private course. Overall the course is in great shape. Its a fairly wide open layout, with very little water to deal with. Unless youre really wild off the tee you will not lose very many balls. The greens were just a hare short of being lightning fast, and, at least for me, had some very deceptive and confusing reads. On holes #11, 12, 13 and 18 leaving yourself with a putt from above the hole is suicidal. The clubhouse restaurant has very good food and at reasonable prices.I think the course is definitely worth giving a try.

GM is very unprofessional. High turnover and disrespectful towards people who are hardworking, reliable and talented. Run people in to the ground and then push them out if he feels threatened, challenged or just has skewed perspective. No trust and unfair treatment and practices among staff and management. Facilities lacking standard maintenance. Hemorrhaging resources because they are top line driven, offering low priced items and not properly staffed for the volume but still cant turn a profit. Stuck in the 1980’s and unwilling to change.
