My family has been a member for about 7 months. It’s way better than we thought! We take all kinds of boats out of a ton of locations. We love going to all locations on the gulf but also enjoy the Tampa Bay. I would highly recommend Freedom Boat Club to all my family and friends.

Absolutely love my Freedom Boat Club membership. We have the choice of getting a boat out of over 10 marinas within 45 minutes from us. And we get to chose from a lot of different boats. So on days when we have just the two of us we can take something a little more sporty, but when we have friends or family with us we can get something bigger to accommodate us all. If we owned our own boat we wouldn’t have the same “Freedom” of choice!

I was very glad Storm and Jonathan took great care in following COVID safety protocols and had our boat fueled, fully prepared, ready to go on arrival and checked is in over the phone. Perfect no contact boarding, beautiful day on the water, similarly greeted on return following all safety measures. Thanks Guys! Great Job! Looking forward to next time!

We had an excellent time on the pontoon we used and the boat was in great shape.PROBLEM: The dock employees phone was apparently not working correctly, so were were unable to contact him. The mailbox for the phone was also full.

Always attentive staff. A great decision. You check out your boat, take off for the afternoon (or entire day), check back in when you’re done, and walk away. As fast, simple and easy as it gets.

Awesome day on the water. FBC makes it so easy.. from the time we arrived at the dock to the time we walked off of it we were completely taken care of.. Marker 8 FBC is perfect location to head out of, weather your headed north or south. Friendly and helpful. Definitely try and book here when I can.. thanks

Been a member for almost a year now and don’t have anything but great things to say. I’ve owned several boats and will never own a boat again. This is by far the best way to get on the water. For anyone who says they can’t get boats, they are either very picky on the exact boat and location, or they don’t take care of the dock masters. As long as your flexible on what type of boat and what location you go out of, you will almost never have an issue with a last minute reservation (as long as the dock masters know you’ll take care of them). For those that book in advance, the app and website are very easy and efficient.

Henry greeted us with a great big smile and a welcome. He came out and grabbed all our gear and brought and loaded it on to the boat! He said it was going to be windy and was he right. So we left the dock and went to the Caladesi Beach area, just $6.00 for the three of us to spend the day on pristine white beaches. We sunbathed on the beach, beach combed for shells and sponges. Then got hungry and called Henry that we were headed in. Again he unloaded the boat, and walked everything to the front where after I got the car from the parking lot he loaded up our things. We then had appetizers at Marker 8. Then we left and had a nice dinner at Sea Sea Riders after. Overall a day well spent on Floridas waterways! Great service by the staff and as always a super day!

I’v been out twice so far with my girlfriend (co-member) and we’ve had a blast fishing and cruising. Love Freedom Boat Club

Great staff. Clean boats. Which it was a little easier to access the dock with a cart. So we can get out heavy cooler out there easier but we still seem to manage.

Awesome staff at this location, they even helped me out with fishing tips and bait. Those guys are awesome up there.

Always nice, and very clean. The boat boys (Nick, Brandon and Jeremy) are very nice and helpful!

The Staff there on Saturday, June 2, 2019 were great! They helped us bring our coolers, chairs etc. to our Pontoon and we very friendly. Thank you!

Dockmaster was great! Boats are not in very good condition. They really looked their age, we were quite surprised compared to St. Pete Skyway boats, which are great.

Very easy to get out of. Had a great day out on the fishing boat.

Guys were great as always at the dock - sprayed down our reels, very polite and professional

Dockmaster Shawn might be a little rough (to the point) but he and his crew are on point. He went out of his way to act as a pack mule and carried a bunch of our gear to and from the boat without hesitation. Great location to get to Honeymoon island. Boat was clean and well organized.

This weekend I had friends in from out of state and decided to take them out on the water. Shaun went out of his way to ensure that all of our needs were met. Hands down the best experience I have had.

Beautiful day. We took a pontoon boat to Three Rooker Bar. Awesome location and drinks at the Tiki Bar to end the day!

TJ and Nate were awesome! Very helpful. We had a great boating experience!

The 22’ Sun Day pontoon boat had several issues. The biggest issue was that the outboard motor didn’tRun properly, the lower unit was failing. The front seats on the boat were worn and torn at the seams.I won’t take that boat again unless assured it was replaced.

Love Freedom Boat Club at Marker 8 because the dock staff and service are outstanding AND you can have lunch at the restaurant there with a menu that offers something for everyone!(And put some cleats on those posts at the docks!!!!!)

Great location and awesome dock staff. These guys make boating easy and fun.

TJ is awesome! I like when your boat is standing by for you and your family PRIOR to you arriving and he is always eager to load your gear. I was taught that you should be told to slow down rather than to keep up and TJ embodies that when I see him prep boats. Not five stars simply due to the fact that it’s hit or miss if that dang depth guage works in several locations, come on FBC!

It was a wonder time Shawn was great n the boat ran well. But did notice & did mentioned to Shawn that the drag on the throttle needs tighten up. Wasnt holding, had to keep our hand on it or worked its way back.Glad we jointed the club. Very polite n helpful service at the docksA very easy n comfortable way to enjoy the waters from every location.Tnx to all.Brian Montz

Five StarsAs always, the staff makes the experience fantastic. We were met at the Marker 8 marina parking lot (Dunedin) by TJ who assisted my wife and guests to the boat while I parked the car across the street. After parking I walked down to the boat where we received a very thorough checkout which included boat operation, safety devices, weather and water conditions and his cell phone number to field any questions or concerns during the day.Later, we motored over to Tarpon Springs for lunch with no specific destination in mind and did not really know what to expect,. As I was pulling into the restaurant I was waved over to an adjacent dock occupied by (surprising to me) FBC Tarpon Springs. The very gregarious young man introduced himself, helped my guests and myself out of the boat and actually moved the boat to a more convenient berth for an after lunch departure. One of my guests commented several times over how special that made her feel. I would mention him by name but sadly I have now forgotten it.We returned to Dunedin about 6:00 pm met , once again by TJ. Pre-arrival to the marina he gave complete instructions on where to pull up, and assisted with the unloading of the boat. The check-in was, as always, quick and pain free.This was my forth time boating in as many weeks. Every one of the FBC personnel ( Captain Pat in Ruskin, Ryan at Lake Tarpon, Sidney in Clearwater, TJ in Dunedin and the unnamed, but pretty darn wonderful Tarpon Springs guy) have been extraordinary.
