Its a pandemic. I get it. But they were out of all if their own beer but didnt update their website or social media. Bartender was dismissive about it and rude. Posted a review on facebook but cant find it... Bottom line: CALL AHEAD. Dont waste your time hoping they have any of the brews on their website or menu. The management seems to care and at least accept tough feedback and apologized.

GREAT FOOD!! good atmosphere, it was pretty empty in there (8pm Monday night) free pool and darts.

They are on to something good. A few more finishing touches to become a first rate pub. But lets focus on what matters... Hearty, authentic pub grub and excellent brews. I will be back.

This is one of the best Irish bars I have been to in the states (and I have hit a few here and in Ireland). Live music on Friday night, darts, pool, etc.Dave at the bar does it right - took care of us at the bar all night. Manager Maureen was awesome and super knowledgeable. The menu was solid. We had fantastic corned beef with almost no fat. Definitely make this a stop if you are in the area!

Great place, free games and bar tender makes frat drinks and knows some “obscure shots”. Only problem is the paid juke box didn’t play my songs. Granted a person could have paid for 10 songs before it, but it’s highly unlikely. I just wanted to hear Irish songs, not screamo.

I was delightfully surprised at this pub! They had a massive selection of whiskys and scotch. Organic brews as well as nano brewery options. We had a flight of the house beers and amazing beer cheese fries (highly recommend!!!!) The server was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. The bar looked absolutely beautiful with all the back lot bottles. We cannot wait to go back!

Bartender was just awesome. Super friendly and knew what he was speaking about. Freaking great selection of Scotch and Whiskey! Some really rare ones. If youre looking for a treat and willing to spend a few dollars, you gotta try this place. Food? Meh. Not bad but not great either.

Came here on Saturday with my wife, they werent busy, we werent acknowledge by staff until my wife asked if we seat ourselves. We waited a good ten minutes then we decided we are not being serviced/acknowledge and decided to go to FITGERS. Staff realized we were about to leave, they came over and gave us our menus but we nicely told them how we felt and that we werent staying. HORRIBLE service, we will Never return here.

Didnt eat here but the beers alone were worth stopping in for. The bartending staff were awesome, attentive, and very friendly. Would recommend and will be back to try some of the food.

This is the main bar that my friends and I go to. The vibe that this place gives off is always inviting and friendly. I came here to celebrate my 22nd birthday and it was a blast. They had comedy night going on and we were able to buy our tickets at the door, get some apps and drinks, and then attend the show. Dubh Linns is almost always busy, but it never has the shoulder-to-shoulder/overcrowded feeling to it.

We waited over 45 minutes for a table. After 45 minutes of waiting we told the hostess we would just order food from the bar. Another 45 minutes pass and we still do not have our food. Finally we tell another server that we order food and to just cancel it because we had to leave. We left without food and without any check in on how we were doing, when our table or food would be ready. Do not recommend this place. Please please please pick some place else. Literally any place else.

Dubh Linn feels like an authentic Irish brew pub. Great food, great drinks, and great service. Plus, they have special events nearly every night of the week. Everyone seems to enjoy trivia on Wednesday nights!

Got that Dublin feel. Atmospheric. Classic. Comfy. Gritty, yet classy! Real Irish culture!Came the ONE night a year they DONT have the comedy duo duel! But, can expect my Saturday retreat return!!!

We stopped in around 2pm with our family if 4. I wasnt sure if kids were allowed but they seated us, and Im so glad they did! Best food Ive had in a long while. The booth was comfortable and spacious, the ambiance inviting and unique, and service was excellent. I had a burger with spinach artichoke dip on top, and oh my goodness! It was fantastic! As were the garlic mashed potatoes on the side. My husband loved his selection, too. Portions were perfect. I recommend this place, it was much better than Grandmas.

Love this pub! Great selection of beer and the Irish grub is second to none. Fish & chips never disappoints, corned beef & cabbage is top notch. No place is better for St. Patricks Day. Their comedy night is pretty good as well. Really, Ive never been let down by this place.

Pretty okayish. The food there is really nothing to write home about, general pub offerings, and they have trivia. Excellent selection of whiskeys though, and the free comedy is also mostly okay.

My wife and I love this Irish bar. That atmosphere is cozy and inviting. They have great love music and some of the best selections of comedians on Saturday night. Top it off with some classic Irish whiskey or beer and youll have a great time here.

4 of us had 4 different selections: Bangers and Mash, Shepards Pie, Fish and Chips, and Pipers Feast. All were delicious, including the crusty bread! Good variety of beers and cocktails. Fun seasonal events. Game tables. Friendly service.

Everytime I visit Duluth I come here. The food is outstanding. They have the best spinach artichoke dip you will ever have. The drinks are great. The whiskey fresh is a delicious whiskey sour. Service is always great too. I highly recommend stopping here.

Not a great bar, but plenty of space. If you are going for dinner, they have one of the best shepherds pies in the Midwest.

We purchased the dinner and comedy show package. We reserved a table so we were seated right away. We ordered the beer cheese fries & two entrees. I ordered the tacos and my girlfriend got the Rueben sandwich. The orange salsa on the tacos have an interesting flavor. My girlfriends Rueben had hard bread. Our server promptly asked us if everything was okay. We said it was fine, we just didnt like it. Not that it was cooked wrong or anything, but just a different taste. She comped our next visit to come back to the show and have another dinner. Theresa was our server and she was absolutely lovely! Its servers like that, that go above and beyond even when we were fine with what we received, that really matter. I hope we get her when we return for our comped visit :)

This place is so gross. It smells like burned fryer oil all the time, everything is sticky, and I havent touched the food there in years because i got sick both times i ate there. It gets one extra star cause the comedy is pretty good.

Thoroughly basic, but reliable. relatively huge establishment featuring games & regular event nights (comedy, trivia, etc) the food is good, the drink selection is expansive; but everything is on the pricier side. mandatory for bar crawls; but otherwise underwhelming, considering some of the other bars in the area. gets crowded fast on popular drinking holidays.

It appears like its a bit of a dive from the outside but once you get inside is really nice. Took a trip to Ireland last spring and this pub takes me right back. They have all of the traditional Irish food Sheppards pie, Irish stew etc. My wife had the Irish stew and claims is the best shes ever had - more flavorful so maybe not quite as authentic but still excellent.

Dubh Linns has a phenomenal selection of whiskys and great prices. The food is great. Over the years I have tried most everything on the menu and have never once been disappointed in the food. One item I highly recommend trying are the Reuben Eggrolls.

Its a great spot for a quick and tasty lunch. Overpriced, but so are all the other establishments. Various smaller lunch options, but the prices dont change much from the regular menu. I will come back because the food is good and the service is great

Great bar! Lots of whiskey to choose from. Food is delicous but a little more expensive then most other places. I would highly recommend going to one of there saturday night stand up comedy shows. Tickets are pretty cheap and we had a blast!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was amazing. The smoked lake trout appetizer with creamy horse radish and crackers was simply delicious. The irish stew was the best Ive tasted and the fish and chips was also really good. Our waitress Rebecca was attentive and charming. The irish cream puff with the warm custard was out of this world. Could not have asked for a better evening.

I stopped into Dubh Linns to sample a bit of Minnesotas largest whiskey collection, and had no idea that they were also a Duluth brewery. So of course I stayed for a brew or two at the pub. The lunch I ordered was fantastic and so fast, this quickly became one of my top 5 restaurants to eat at when Im visiting Duluth. Highly recommended.

I have never been treated so poorly. We were planning on meeting some friends from work to see the comedy show, and the website said reservations recommended. We didnt have our hearts set on seeing the show, so we didnt make a reservation because it wasnt required and if it was full we would just hang out in the bar. We arrived half an hour early and were seated in the club and got some drinks. Then this jerk barked at us that we had to sit across from one another at the table instead of side by side. Whatever, we moved. The show is about to start and the same guy comes up and asks if we have reservations, we tell him no, and he literally yelled at us to get out. I thought he was going to shove us the way he yelled. It was embarrassing. I will never be going there ever again.

First time there, really impressed with their bar and service. The Brandy Manhattan could have been better but not everyone can make them as well as Bill.

Best restaurant in Duluth by far. Homemade recipes and craft beer brewed on site. The Reuben, Shepards pie, corn beef and cabbage are great. Also the big lake burger. Great atmosphere.

We came up for our 10 year wedding anniversary and wandered in for one beer ended up staying till close the first night and back the 2nd and 3rd nights we were here. The atmosphere rocks great bar tenders and awesome service definitely a place we will stopping at the next time we are in town!

I love Dubh Linn, I always stop in whenever i visit Duluth. Between here, Carmodys, and R.T. Quinlanns, I always do a mini Irish pub crawl. Great atmosphere, excellent tap selection, and the servers are all happy and chill.

Lots of solid Irish food options, but my favorite thing was the book of single malt scotches. (Most expensive is $437 for a 1.5 oz pour!) A modestly priced pour was still delicious.

Nice atmosphere. The stew was too tomato tasting and the Sheppards pie had an off spice, maybe nutmeg and thats all you tasted which made it terrible. They had the whisky I wanted but the bar tender refused to sell any out of two bottles....

Comedy on Saturdays is worth it every time. Great selection of beer and liquor. You dont often come here for the food, but it is well worth it as well.

I took a prospective client here for dinner. They were out of two of the items we ordered from the menu. Finally, we settled on the corned beef and cabbage, standard Irish fare. The cabbage was so overcooked, it was actually not edible. Our waiter later told us it had been cooked in the morning and was stewing in a pot all day. It had the consistency of mush. We had a similar experience during a different visit. I recommend they stick to beer, booze and entertainment and stop advertising their menu until they figure out how to cook edible food.

When I come here, its only for comedy. The entire place smells like fried food (especially the womens restroom!) And the service is hit or miss. Do not bother getting the food, you will be disappointed.
