Friendly dealers and staff! Good conversation and overall table atmosphere. Love to play blackjack, I travel here while working from Maddison. I haven’t had an issue getting a seat at a table game or finding an open machine. Everyone that I have noticed the three times I have visited... have been following the mask mandate, and there are sanitation stations around every corner of the casino. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, and a quick and easy ride.

Their outdoor concerts are great! They generally have a lot of good artists and it is never too crowded. If you like to be up front, it’s pretty easy to get up there.

Pre-COVID I used to go here even though I always lost. I went last night and now my view has changed. I won quite a bit and now I don’t plan on ever going there again. They have, by far, the fewest precautions in place to protect guests. I saw 10-15 people not wearing masks at all. Probably 50% of the guests weren’t wearing masks correctly. They didn’t have hand sanitizer out anywhere except at the entrance. They also had the self serve beverage machines open (which I haven’t seen post-COVID). I was in Las Vegas last weekend and they do a dramatically better job and it’s much safer. I’ve been to casinos in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Nevada (twice) post closure and Q casino is by far the least prepared. It’s an outbreak waiting to happen. I can’t believe a state run casino is allowed operate like this.

I enjoy travelling to this casino from Illinois to escape all of the regulations and get a sense of freedom! The pit bosses and dealers are all friendly. Very good food and beer selection. Highly recommended!

My wife and I love our get-away time to casinos 3 or 4 times a year. This location is off our list permanently. The slots are impossibly tight, the dealers are inexperienced and the pit bosses lack any customer service skills.

A nice casino with a great sports bar. A late night food option, like a snack bar, would be a great addition.

Q Sportsbook App and lines are the best in Iowa. The app quickly loads and is easy to view game lines. Betting is also easy with notifications when you win. Game lines are usually some of the best. An area of improvement is possibly posting the next days lines sooner.

I came out ahead, but I couldnt stay there more than 30 mins. The smell of cigarettes is absolutely overwhelming. Had to wash my clothes and take a shower as soon as I got home to get the smell off of me

Been here many times, never had very good luck. Slots seem to be very tight more often than not. Atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable.

Had a great time. Good atmosphere and good selection of games, including many table games. As a bonus, the Greyhound Park Dog Track is right here so you can watch the races. We are glad they are back open.

God awful! Play was terrible and the smoke ...ugh! I would have thought with Covid-19 being airborne, smoking would be off limits like in Wisconsin.

Tightest slots I have ever played. Machines are old, MANY would not take the tickets and even cash. I like the older machines, but the payouts are pitiful, even with max credits played. Air conditioning and air filtration needs work also. I would not recommend and I would not go back.

Never really win at this casino. The atmosphere is now cold and uninviting. No one was seeming to have fun. No smiles no laughter. Felt like it was someplace to be that wasnt like house arrest. Like during the stay at home order.

A decent place to go, but wow, they need to work on their air quality. It really reeks of cigarette smoke when it is fairly busy. Ive been to other casinos on a busy day and it doesnt smell near as bad. Maybe Im more sensitive because Im a former smoker, but I could smell it on my clothes the next day. That said, they do have good table games and their food and drinks are above average.

They need to require masks, wont go until that happens, unsafe

This is a very nice well laid out casino alot of old games alot new ones too.had a blast bar is open and running no mask needed either unless you want one up to you. I hit 700 on one machine and 1700 on another so you can win here just got to get lucky. People here were nice too workers and crowd free soft drinks are available unlike some casinos right now, you can get food here too but I believe you have to eat in car.******Update*****As of August 7th must were mask, I hate that and wont be going here til they remove mask policy

Friendly staff. Great tables, especially Freebet Blackjack. The air filtration system used to be excellent and did an amazing job of managing the cigarette smoke smell, but recently the smell has become pretty powerful.

Hotel attached was nice..skip the breakfast at hotel...it was horrible and Im not picky ever. Sports betting area not as nice as Diamond Jo but, they are still figuring it out.. need more comfortable seating.

My fiance, and I and a couple of our friends go up to the Q Casino at least 3 to 4 times a week. The Q Casino is a great place to not only play, but have great food and a great atmosphere. You can enjoy your night after the casino and or entertainment they have at the hotel thats at the casino property. I really recommend that everyone should try out the Q Casino at least once and make your own decisions about the Q Casino. But take it from me youre going to love it there.

Had a great time in Iowa. We had a small issue the night before because a attendant at the craps table forgot to pick up a bet so we thought we won the next roll and they cancelled the bet and we lost the money. I never played 3 card poker but that was my new favorite game. Rachel is the best if you are playing there. She will keep you entertained and it’s fun playing when she is your dealer even when you lose

Best odds are midnight to 5am otherwise good luck. But much better place than any Ho-Chump casino. Much friendlier and they dont sit and spy on you in your own vehicle like Madison Ho-chumps does.

First time visit was excellent. I love the fact that it is NOT a 24 hour casino. Very clean, the restaurant was superb (I think its called Farmers Market), friendly employees and guests. Only have one thing going against it, the ventilation needs to be dramatically improved. I had to step outside more than once for fresh air.

Got free shows most of times. Clearly separated non & smoking areas. Even smoking doesnt smell. Food is good as well.

Not a huge fan of smoking indoors. Saw 3 doors down front row at backwaters stage. 1st 2 bands sounded awesome then they screwed something up for 3 doors down so front row speakers were basically off. We couldnt hear guitarist or vocals at all.

Good clean atmosphere with alot of choices for games. The layout can be a little confusing at times. There isnt a place for nonsmokers. The slots are your standard pay but seem to be a little on the tight side but it is all about luck. Floor employees seem to be friendly. All in all it is a good destination for a weekend.

Went there for a Dustin lynch concert outside, probably one of the best put together outside concerts Ive been to! Staff were really friendly and the faculty was clean. Would recommend this place to anyone .

Not a bad place. Not a fan of smoking allowed indoors but that is the law in Iowa. The venue for the concert wasnt great either. In a parking lot in the summer, with no shade. Not to mention, the setting sun made it impossible to see the preformers. Ticket prices were reasonable.

Ordered the chicken special, 4 pieces. Very good, not dry. (Never know about chicken breasts). ...all the menu items are reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

Went for 3 doors down concert. First 2 bands sounded awesome but they changed something for 3 doors down so the front row tweeter speakers were basically off so we couldnt hear the singer or guitarist for almost the entire time they played. Severely disappointed. The first band (the 9th planet out) made up for it though so the night wasnt a total bust.

Been there a few times and the slots dont pay worth a dang. Also too much smoking. Their exhaust system doesnt seem to work.
