This is one of the most beautiful places Ive ever hiked. Stunning views as you round corners and go higher. Reminds of me of all the times I spent hiking in the woods as a kid. The only drawback is the paths are narrow on the mountainside and there are bikes on the trails so if they need to pass you, its difficult to get to a side where they can get by you. Still my kids and I loved hiking here yesterday.

Breathtaking, sweeping views of the Salt Lake Valley infused with panic from a potential cougar attack will elevate your heart rate at the Coyote Hollow Trailhead. Get a backside view of the beautiful Draper Temple from the comfort of your $700 Cannondale Trail bike or your $175 Red Wing hipster boots. Be there!

Well maintained trailhead includes a parking area, bathrooms, and messaging board/map. Trails offer a variety of terrain to service all skill levels of mountain biking and hiking.

The best mountain biking and hiking spot if you want a quick trail workout. The trails get better every year and are well maintained. The addition of public bathrooms at the bottom and top of the mountain are perfect examples. There are basically trails going from Draper to Alpine.

A lovely trail. Yet a very confusing one. Theres so many bike trails that its not wise to hike. Make sure you plan out your trip if you are coming.

Its a nice wide trail that is shared by families, mountain bikers and hikers. Its a fairly popular trail for locals. Many different hiking routes are available about 1/4 of a mile up the trail. Many of the trails are relatively easy. There are parts of the trail specifically made for mountain bikers which is nice (still much of it is shared). Its not my favorite trail, but its always a decent option.

Closed right now for renovation please avoid this access point to Corner Canyon trail system. Easily located if you head for the LDS Draper Temple youre practically there. Usually a great start spot bypassing a ride up the main road and traffic below. Coyote Hollow drops in just above Silica Pit coming from the LDS Draper Temple side.

Fairly easy hike that will take you up to ghost falls, if you take the right trail. Parked by the temple and made it to ghost fast and back down in an hour and twenty minutes. This was at aslow to casual pace, definitely a small waterfall.

Very convenient trailhead for hikes without driving too far. Lots of trail options and pretty sights (we saw wild turkeys). My biggest complaint is the rude bikers. OMG, they will fly by you even though they are supposed to yeild to hikers on mixed trails. About 30 bikers passed us wildly and only ONE stopped to offer us right of way. Hiking with my 4 kids was not the safest option here. I wish they would stay on the biking only paths.I did like the little Memorial Grove where the kids explored. Not in a hurry to return but will stick to hikers only trails.

Great place to park and start a mountain bike ride or hike. If the parking area at the trailhead is full, you will need to park on the street above the trailhead (Gray Fox Dr) or in the church parking lot. There is no parking in front of the houses surrounding the Coyote Hollow trailhead. From Coyote Hollow, bikers can access a bunch of different trails - BST, Clarks, Anns, Canyon Hollow, Potato Hill, etc.

Review №57

As a hike its not bad, but there are a lot of bikers. I was constantly stepping aside to let them pass, if youre a biker its a really nice path, but I would suggest hikers go to different trails unless you want to pause constantly to let bikers to pass. Easy to access, and parking wasnt crowded (I went around 6:30-7pm) and a lot of the path is shaded. The path is a decent width, not too narrow and a lot of the time two people can walk side by side. There should be more signs to show which way is the real path, there are lots of other trails that branch off and you can get mixed up on.

I dont know the extent of the trails. I hiked to Ghost Falls. It is quite lovely and relatively well shaded. And is very popular with mountain bikers. There are some trails that are exclusively for mountain bikes. The bikers dont like it if the hikers end up on those trails. The difference was marked clearly on our Ascent. However it was not marked clearly on our descent. Many people in our group ended up on the bike trails. If you hike here be particularly careful not to end up on the fuel mountain bike only Trails. Other than that its great.

Too many peopleOkay, this is in an effort to keep people away from a great spot, so kudos for reading deeper. I mountain bike up clarks trail and down a myriad or other trails. Early morning is the only time I can really go and it is busy then, but not too bad. If I could keep it all to myself I would, hahaha. I hope you enjoy the trails, and there is a great map at the beginning that helps you know all the trails you can take.

Not the best If you want a mature experience as it runs through a neighborhood. Its near a protected watershed so you cant take your dog. Its a generally nice hike but there isnt exactly a notable destination.
