Went in for an iron fitting and was a bit skeptical it would help my game. Im currently playing at a 14 handicap am Im not the most consistent ball striker. Ive always used off the shelf clubs but wanted something better fit for me. All I can say is WOW, what a difference it made!! Im hitting my irons well and really like the clubs we picked. Ive played several rounds with them and am very happy with how it all turned out.

Derek took time to ask questions about my previous background and used the info to better help me adjust my alignment, balance, turn, and swing. Got more help in one lesson than in multiple lessons with other instructors.

I have been playing golf competitively since I was 8 years old, with some decent success at times...I’m now 40. I called Derek, from Atlanta, because I needed some help with my equipment and I knew he had this place. I sent him what I had, and he built me what I wanted; but the right way. I had no idea how much of a difference “puring” would make. Derek and his staff know what they are talking about! With my first couple of swings I could tell that my iron play would never be the same. This will be the only place I go for all of my golf equipment needs from now on, no matter where I’m living at the time.

These guys do a fantastic job of fitting golfers for custom equipment. They understand the golf swing and the attributes of the shafts / clubs available to help you play better golf. They can even help you with your putting woes. The shop guys are fast with building your custom set and do it right the first time. Great facility for winter practice too!

Full bag with Derek. He, Jordan and staff are solid, and make a great team. Good combo of technical and practical. Interprets, assimilates and communicates data clearly and provides multiple options. Works beyond initial fitting to tweak/adjust for optimal results/feel. Highly recommend.

I came in for a driver fitting with Derek this Summer. He worked with me in the shop to try to find the right driver head and shaft for my swing and also gave me some pointers on how to increase my club head speed. Upon receipt of the driver, I played with it for 6-8 weeks and determined it wasnt quite the right fit. Derek then worked with me on the driving range and determined that the kick point needed to be lower for my swing and took my driver back to put in a different shaft. Ive since been playing with the new shaft and like the club a lot. Ive increased my distance about 20 yards on good solid hits and get good distance on even off center hits.

Being a college student, I dont have money to maintain my visits here, but I have been very pleased with the service and expertise provided. I have had a few lessons, and by focusing on the lessons outside of the facility, have lowered my score by about 5-6 strokes, and improved my understanding of game in general and how to play to my skill set. Ive been fitted for a putter and driver and have had no regrets in those purchases, especially because the focus was on my performance and not the price tag. As soon as graduation occurs, I will be spending a lot more time here to improve my game, both in the mental and physical aspects.

These guys are awesome. I went in to be fitted for a driver and had an amazing experience. He broke my swing down really well and actually helped instead of trying to figure how how he could sell me on something. They definitely gained my trust and I would recommend to anybody.

Derek Fox took the time and effort to fit my new clubs to my swing. He had me hit balls till I was sore making sure each club, each shaft and grip was tailored to my swing. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in the science of the swing, launch angles, spin rates, ball speed, club head speed. When I was done I was completely satisfied. Later that year I shot my best ever round of -2 70. Thanks Derek and your staff for an incredible experience.

Really happy with my overall experience with Jordan at Impact Golf. I got fitted for irons and felt like Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and patient throughout the process of fitting, selecting, and building my new clubs. Getting fitted is a bit more spendy, but like in most things, you get what you pay for. The golf swing is like a fingerprint, no two are the same, so getting clubs from the big box stores where fitting isnt top priority can cause for some headache down the road. In the past, I feel like my thought process was that Ill fit my swing into the shaft, where now Ive learned that the shaft needs to fit my swing. Thanks Jordan, referrals coming your way!

The fittings here are excellent! I have been fit for my driver and irons and I would never play with clubs that haven’t been custom fit again! My consistency has greatly improved and my scores have dropped!

I went in for a club fitting (Driver) and hoped to pick up on some swing tips, too. Derek was spot on identifying my power losses and fitting me with a driver that by the end of our time had me carrying the ball further and spin rates good for run out. The price was worth the gain!

Nothing bad to say, but nothing to write home about. The people were there to check you in and get you started, after that, nothing. Just a very average experience.
