I ordered the fried whiting with yams and macaroni and my girlfriend ordered the Maryland crab cake. The food was amazing. The fish was bigger than I had thought it would be, and the crab cake was fresher and bigger than she had thought it would be. My girlfriend didn’t order any sides but they gave her complimentary fries. She enjoyed the fries but worked her way over to my plate and began eating about half my side of yams before ordering her own and finishing it. Good food. Nice people. 100% recommend.

Hi, I am not rating the restaurant, as I have not been before but I would like to celebrate my 22nd birthday there in November. I’ve never been to a restaurant with live jazz music and I would like to go to one. I see everyone saying “grown folks.” I’m wondering if I am too young to go, plus I wanted to invite my friends. We are all in our 20’s but I don’t want it to be an odd experience for everyone. Is there an age limit?? I like the reviews that I see and I would like to visit the restaurant. Thank you.

Very nice & friendly. The New zYears Eve Partywas fun & i enjoyed playing with The Philly Destiny Band. Great food & service was very good. The staff greeted & made feel @ home; plus, they aim to please & served you with a smile.

This was my first visit to see Mike Philly Jazz concert on Valentines day. Tickets were $55. The Jazz show was remarkable, one of the greatest shows Ive seen!! The food was tasty. However, I waited 2 hours and 30 minutes to get my food and my husband order was incorrect and he waited and additional 30 minutes. Then when he recieved his food...they ran out of the vegetable he ordered. No exaggeration it was unbelievable and disaster experience!

They showed a posting for $10 per person off of your reservation we called and made a reservation and they never asked for any money,the owner told us today that it expired last week and if you look at my pick it doesnt expire until July 14th, didnt really feel like arguing with,you would think that they would appreciate the customers that they did have come in today

They had a Christmas dinner for community and homeless. The owner/manager was very rude and talked down to visitors. Volunteers were also unfriendly. The food was good and we are thankful for the blessing however it should not be served with degrading attitude.

Went there with my husbands co-workers for a catered dinner. The food was surprisingly very good! I was expecting like bar food but it was better. Seemed like the mac and cheese was home made and it was tasty. They also had line dancing starting after we finished dinner (personally, I suck at it) but it looked like it was a good time. They said they sometimes have live bands there and there was plenty of room for a dance floor. Id go back to hear a live band (if it was a rock band!!).

I had a very nice time, the music was very smooth the DJ was extremely good.

We went for the Thursday night salsa instruction and had a blast. The instructor broke everyone out of there comfort zone and by the end I felt as though I could salsa like a champ. Its definitely more classy then cowboy up was. The only thing that gets me is drinks are slightly more expensive and theres an eight dollar cover charge, but overall a nice change of pace to Thursday nights!!!

Ive been here about 4-5 times . I dont like how they change there menu when they have shows. They have a sorry $10 menu on show notes which I dont understand if they need to hire more cooks then do that. I will onlycome down when theres a show and I will eat before I go or after I leave. Also they have a DJ that keeps playing a song and no one is on the floor he needs to know he can switch to another song, hello. I dont drink but $3 for a soda . I want him to be successful. But somethings need to change. This is not just me talking its a few people. Keep main menu at all times !!! change DJ often

Good food, friendly service

I went to soul line dance with fellow line dancers. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive. I had a slice of pecan pie between dancing to good line dancing music on the dance floor. I will probably visit this place again.

Came for a graduation party for my cousin. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the amazing staff. It was definitely a great space for an event and large gathering. There was even a wedding setting up when we were leaving.

Nice adult atmosphere. The show was VERY late getting started and the fill-in entertainment (i.e. the rapping young man) left a lot to be desired. I would give it another try, Mr. Charles, the owner, seems to be nice.

The food was disgusting, the waitress was slow, forget full, and over charged me for the nasty potato skins and 2 out of 3 watered down drinks. The best past was the DJ. The music was on point, even though we went to see the band that never showed.#neveragain

The food was not good. We had to wait a long time for the food. We had a big party of people about 60. They should not have accepted a party that big if they could not handle it. Some people left and did not receive their food. I will not go back there.

Service is Awful-Horrible-!!!!! I’ve been here 4 times and the only time the service was ok was on a Sunday Entertainment is ok .Hard to hear the entertainer.Your wait is a hour plus. Food is delivered cold-Each time the explanation has been employees called out.Waiters and waitress are overwhelmed when you order your drink your wait is long- Go to the bar your looked over But the Jazz entertainment Wish the owner much success-

Went on Easter Sunday, incredibly loud and obnoxious. No way to eat a meal at this place unless you want musIc blasting the entire time. I thought it was supposed to be a restaurant first and a bar second, not so on this day. Curious to see who the next owner will be.
