Awesome place!!! Very Relaxing. Great Environment and Lakeside room is beautiful.. Hubby and I will come here again. Future Couples trip for sure!!! Only Con was the restaurant hours they provided on guide was not available when going to dine. This needs to improve. My husband and I we were only able to enjoy breakfast for one day. Would have like to try lunch and dinner as well.

If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this is the place for all... Beautiful clean lakeside rooms close to pool and Tennis. Very family friendly. Only downside is the Paddock restaurant only has a limited menu for takeout, no other food options for atleast 20 to 30 minutes drive. Another plus would be the premier activities. Horseback ride with Ashley was awesome, she was very knowledgeable and very friendly. At ride around the property was so much fun. I love this place

Couldn’t have been happier with their service and professionalism. Abbie at the welcome center did a fantastic job with welcoming us. And answering all of our questions. I would definitely recommend fox hall to anyone, that hasn’t been here yet. The atmosphere of other guest was great. Never rode a horse until I stayed here for the first time and the instructor Ashley was Phenomenal from teaching us some basic ride maneuvers to telling us about herself and about history on Fox hall, and memberships. The rooms were amazing. Bed was super comfortable. Very spacious. I can not thank y’all enough. Y’all definitely made our weekend wonderful and memorable. Thank you!

Beautiful scenery, professional & friendly staff, and fun amenities. The life vests for canoeing were a bit outdated and didnt seem sanitized to a Covid standard. And the putting range was closed, even the website said it was available. Great place for a weekend getaway.

I loved it here and the customer service is awesome. This was our first time going, but it certainly wont be the last time. The only problem I had was the internet wasnt working, other than that I had an encounter with a snake swimming towards me while fising. I know it only gets better, I will try horseback riding when I go back.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with our friends. If you enjoy fishing and open country then this is for you. No crowds, full kitchen and restaurants about 20 min away.

My bathroom wasnt fully clean, the last guest soap was left in my shower.

This place used to be awesome 5 years or so ago. Went back sept of 2020 and it looks like the owners are running a very lean staff on the non-wedding side of the house. It’s roughly $90 for a round of sporting clays. The staff was super friendly and helpful but it looks and feels like they’re doing their jobs with a quarter of the budget they need. Half the throwers weren’t functioning properly in some form or fashion. If this was a buddys backyard it’d be great but for 90 a person, the front of the check in building shouldn’t look like a junk yard with 4 broken down atvs/ golf carts. If you’re going for sporting clays, I’d go somewhere else. This place was amazing back in the day but sporting clays isn’t something they seem to be focusing on currently.

I gave it a 3 because the cabins are very nice. The entrance and drive to the villas consisted of plain dirt roads. The roads were hard and scary to navigate at night. Quite frankly it looks like some areas werestill under construction. We had a beautiful cabin by the lake. However, not all of the activities that were advertised were available. The pool was understandably closed due to COVID. But the person on the phone indicated that we would still be able to enjoy horseback riding, archery, and fishing. Once we were settled the next day, we were told that we were only able to fish from the side of the lake. Boats were only available to club members which we were not aware of. Archery was fine. Horseback riding was not possible because the horses were away at the vet. The staff was kind and friendly. However, The high rate that I paid to stay there was not worth it due to all of the amenities that were unavailable to me and my family.

Went to The Paddock restaurant at Foxhall for their Valentine’s Day special. It was so delicious! We were not aware that the menu was set for the special occasion. It included a appetizer a choice of 1 of 3 entrees and a dessert. I had the pasta and my husband had the tenderloin. I’m usually not one to order pasta often just because it typically doesn’t really wow me but when the menu said it was homemade I just had to try it. It was phenomenal! It actually had no meat and an oil based sauce with veggies and I was amazed at how flavorful it was despite the simplicity of the dish. The tenderloin was exceptional and very tender. We look forward to eating here again when the full menu is available. Many of the dishes are farm to table and some of the meat is actually from the property.The attire for that evening had a wide range from casual to semi formal. I think it would be more than appropriate to wear jeans or dress up more and not fee out of place either way. It’s a cozy, intimate, lodge feel with a fireplace! I loved the location because it really felt like we were going to a destination out in the countryside even though it was only 15 minutes from our home. The grounds are beautiful to just drive thru. Be sure to call ahead or book online. The hours may vary.

Very nice setting and nicely appointed rooms. The roads on the property were in poor condition and we had some trouble with the heating and air conditioning not functioning. Also, rather a secluded setting with few nearby (especially on-campus) food options. Better bring your breakfast because the onsite restaurant opens 11:30.

Very beautiful surroundings but the service is subpar. My friend had a wedding here and they took advantage of her at every step. Not worth the thousands of dollars they charge for a wedding. They will kick you to the side when a higher paying corporate account comes along. My friend missed out on several items that were promised to her because a corporate function came along.

I didnt visit this place. I waited outside the gate while the deputy wrote me a speeding ticket. The entrance is the hang out for the Sheriffs department to set up their speed traps. They got me good!

The place is excellent but I feel discriminated against by a resort employee, maybe because I am Hispanic that happened on 08/29/20 room 316 in the ATV area, but the place is very beautiful

This is a very beautiful venue. It over looks mountains and hills with amazing scenery. The inside is very rustic and modern. Very elegant and lovely. Wonderful place to have a wedding, and lots can be done with the place. :)

February 2020 was my first time visiting Foxhall. I had an amazing time and decided to return. I booked my May reservation online, keep in mind the website does not state that the resort is closed. I received a telephone call the Thursday before my Sunday stay. The women explained the contact-less check in and told me I would receive an e-mail with my room number and all of the resort information. I never received the e-mail and when I called on Friday that was the first time that I learned that the resort is closed and no one would be manning the phones. At this point I began to panic. I left voicemail and sent e-mails trying to get someone to respond so that I could find out my room number. Well, no one called or e-mailed me. On Sunday, I was reduced to lifting up random door mats in an effort to find my welcome packet to determine which room was mine. During my search, I saw a man sitting outside one of the rooms. I asked if they had been given an emergency contact number and as he was about to answer his wife came outside and asked if I was Tanisha. I confirmed that I was. She then told me that she received my e-mail by error. She was able to give me my room number. This experience is unacceptable and very inconvenient. I do not know what information was on the e-mail so I do not know if my address was noted on the e-mail or any part of my credit card number.Once I arrived in my room, I noticed there were no chairs in the screened-in porch so I was not able to enjoy the lake view unless I brought the indoor chairs outside. It is noted that the other rooms had wooden chairs outside. There were spiders inside which I had to kill. Both plugs above the sinks were inoperable and I had to plug in my flat iron in another socket in another room. Also, one of the light bulbs in the bathroom was out.This is not what I expect for $330.00 a night. I left a note asking someone to call me back and it has yet to happen. I am disappointed and I will not be back because their lack of action has demonstrated a lack of concern about my experience.

Beautiful resort that we had an opportunity to tour, the cottages are quaint and modern. The fields and wide open spaces are beautiful along with a number of ponds and lakes to fish by. The staff was friendly and accommodating and really took their time showing us each wedding and event venue

Mediocre at best. Terrible roads leading to the welcome center, that was closed. Dim lighting so traveling at night was a nightmare. Restaurant always seems to be closed or bought out for private event every time we attempt to dine there. Only other restaurants are 20+ minutes away. This place should really get its act together because its a gem of wasted potential the way its ran at the moment.

TERRIBLE. Very Unethical business. Made reservations there for a wedding party. At the time they stated we could cancel with full refund if it was 30 days out as we were unsure if we could make it. We called to cancel 31 days out and were told we could not cancel. Her manager said sorry. We immediately called American Express. They proceeded to lie to American Express about the date of cancellation. Luckily Amex kept record of our call and agreed that this company also lied to them when they looked at date we called to dispute charge. Also wedding was later canceled due to covid. They will reap what they sow for our $503.00!

Went there for a wedding. Stables venue as well as main house were lovely. Staff for the events were amazing. Had an awesome time with the fellas shooting sporting clay.

Beautiful facility. Great for parties and events. Not the easiest place to find, at least to us coming from out of town. Their web site could have better directions and maps. Dont know what the prices are like since I was just a guest at an event.

The new restaurant is beautiful

Accidentally found this resort (and specifically the nouveau-rustic and charming Paddock) on our way to a newly restored garden in the area - we were treated to excellent service and very good food for lunch. There were only two of us but all the staff was great and very attentive; the manager talked with us a while as we were one of the few groups at this amazing spot. The development of the resort is ongoing but the landscape and pastures, hedgerows, etc looks to be long established. We were extremely pleased to make this find!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! My only big complaint is there are many unpaved roads on this property. And there are HUGE potholes on those dirt roads! Felt like we were going to break an axle on our SUV. We had to drive 3mph while going to the back of the location where the wedding was going to be held. If they fix that, this would definitely be 5 stars.

Attended a company retreat in November 2019. Excellent experience with team activities, meeting space was bright and refreshing, food was very good, staff was welcoming. Overall very positive experience.

Very beautiful place. My neice was married there recently and it was first visit. The grounds were beautiful, the facility was clean and well kept. The staff was smiling, helpful, and effiecient. Everything worked like a well oiled machine. I would say may favorite feature was when they opened the doors in the hall to reveal a bar in the alcove. Great use of space. My only recommendation would be that the directional signs leading in my different for each event. Since there were several events the same weekend, it made it difficult to read all of the signs to see which was pointing towards each event. Color would be a way to disctint each, even if just the color background (like colored paper). You could know to look for blue (example) and follow that arrow. Luckily for us there were extra sandwich boards set up for just our event which helped us look for those. All in all a great facility with a great staff (from an attendee point of view).

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!The wedding was great and facilities look nice, but that is about where it ends. If you stay here be prepared to open your suit case to thousands of ants. We had two different people in two different rooms have this happen. There were ants in the food in the fridge..When we showed up there were wasps all over the buildings. My brother was stung 3 times. It took multiple requests to have someone come out. Which did nothing, we ended up buying spray ourselves. When we brought up the bug problem at the end again.. they told us Oh well we cant really do anything about that since its Georgia.. I am from Florida trust me there are ways to seal buildings.The employees have no concern for their guests. When you ask for anything they respond with attitude.We had multiple things approved before we arrived and paid for them. Once there they told us we couldnt bring these and if we did they would fine us. (A dog and golf cart).They are terrible with their computer. They billed someone else golf cart rental to our room along with their purchase from the store and told us we must pay it even though its not ours because it was on our room.For the lake view villas the lake looks more like sludge than water.This is all a shame because the wedding was great and I wish the bride and groom the best. But I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Really enjoyed our weekend stay here this summer. The area was gorgeous and the staff was very nice. Wish there were more restaurants nearby but we had fun checking out all the towns surrounding the area- highly recommend checking out Serenbe. Will definitely visit Foxhall again.

Stunning property. The cottages are fantastic. The two bedroom suites have balconies in both bedrooms, as well as a sizeable balcony downstairs. Beautiful view when the sun is going down. I attended for one night only for a work related function, however I would have loved to stay a week + to enjoy everything that Foxhall has to offer. If you are considering, please do it! This is also a stunning wedding venue for a rustic wedding.

Wonderful place for a wedding! Beautiful lakeside rooms. Beds were very comfortable, food is great, and theres lots of outdoor activities and land to enjoy!

We had our wedding here in December 2019 and overall loved that aspect of it! We specifically held our wedding at the Legacy Lookout venue, and its stunning. Deniese is wonderful to work with. Shes worked there a long time and is very knowledgeable about weddings at the resort. We were able to have our engagement pictures taken there, as well, since we were having our wedding there. There are a variety of beautiful spots on the resort to take pictures, which is really great.The only complaint we have has to do with the lodging. The lodging on site is outrageously expensive. The condos and houses are nice in appearance, amenities, and views, but they are not kept clean at all. Several guests mentioned the floors had not been cleaned in what seemed to be a very long time. Booking requires a 2-night minimum stay, which forced many of our guests to stay elsewhere (the closest hotels being 20ish minutes away). There really is no such thing as a block of rooms available for you - they dont provide much (if any) of a discount, and contractually obligate you to pay for the rooms regardless if theyre booked. It ended up being a better option to opt out of the block and encourage our guests to book online, which has a much more reasonable cancellation policy. Our families booked both houses on site. Oriole Lodge had NO heat the entire weekend. Given what we paid and the fact that it was December, this was a major disappointment and inconvenience for our family.I truly hope Foxhall has plans to improve the lodging aspect of their resort. As I said, the wedding aspect of Foxhall is wonderful, and its no surprise they hold multiple weddings every weekend. But the improvement of their lodging facilities is definitely much needed.

Great place, honest people and excellent service. Beutiful landscape with nature trails. Horse back riding. Fine dining, swimming, and more.I would give 4.5 stars if possible. Not only is it family friendly. But also fantastic place to bring your sweetheart. Or to come alone and just relax. This post may almost seem like a advertisement. However, it is not. I am actually a former employee. Who lost my position. A short time after being hired. Even though upsetting to me. I must be fair and truthful. Fox hall resort is a awesome place.

Beautiful, relaxing setting. Had a wedding at the Legacy Lookout - Stunningly Beautiful! It was perfect. I tried to think was there anything that could have made this perfection even better - only one, no drizzle of rain! Rain was short and back to perfection. 4 bedroom cottage was perfect for a gathering place. Awesome !!!Can’t wait to go back to Foxhall.Paddock Restaurant a must for dining !!

Was there for a wedding. Excellent venue. The grounds are very nice and the building where the wedding was held was beautiful. Wait staff for the dinner was very courteous and friendly. My wife has food allergies and they fixed her something that she could have that was not part of the wedding feast. There is a restaurant there that is said to be very good. We will have to try it in the near future.

Great place for families. First outdoor set of sctivites, from fire pits, to water gardens, gold, sporting Clays, fishing, and more.

We went to see an outdoor movie. Parking was easy although it took some time waiting. We were able to see the screen and hear the movie fine. The event said there would be food, snacks, bonfires, and games. They did have all of those things but they were all lack luster. There were 2 food trucks, one ran out of food. The only game I saw was the costume contest. The bonfires were in little fire pits that I thought patrons brought. I was there to watch the movie so those things werent a priority for me having a good time. Wish a little more effort had gone into it though.

Beautiful wedding venue.

We came here for a wedding - which was beautiful and fun. However, our stay at the resort was terrible. This resort has delusions of grandeur. Let me tell you about a few things to watch out for. We got to the site and there is a Welcome Center with a gravel parking lot and a walk up to the center to receive your key. I feel sorry for older people or handicapped, as I cant imagine anyone that has trouble walking successfully navigating the gravel or the walk. Once you check-in, it is a series of dirt roads with massive potholes to your villa. That parking lot is paved, but there is a series of steps to your room if you are lakeside, and for the older guests at the wedding, it was hard to navigate to get to their room.There is an information page when you check-in. One thing they do tell you, is that you will be charged $100 for every hour you stay after check-out time. They also tell you about all the fees there are to rent any recreational equipment, but you will be charged a $20 resort fee - not sure what that fee covered. And not sure this is a resort - more like acres of land someone plowed down and set buildings around with some manmade lakes.We were running late for the ceremony, so we put our bags down and went to the stables, where the ceremony was being held. We then went to the reception. When we got back to our room and had a chance to look around, we discovered:1. Someone elses shoes in the water closet2. One towel in the whole room3. Not one bar of soap or anything (Shampoo or anything in a pinch) we could use to even wash our hands4. A dog barking hysterically - the walls are PAPER THIN and I guess the resort is pet-friendlyWhen we tried to call the front desk to ask for towels and soap, we realized the room did not have a phone. When we called the property from our cell phone, we went through an agonizingly long recording that informed us that no one is on the property after 7:30 pm! We were welcome to call another number for the off-site Manager on duty. When we spoke with Ashley, she was completely useless, never apologized and told us she would See what she could do. 25 minutes later, we never heard anything so we called her back and told her to forget it - by now it was midnight and we just wanted to go to bed. My husband and I are 50% percent sure the room was never cleaned - because the bed was haphazardly made, but I cannot be sure. However, as I went to sleep, I realized that I would never want to stay at this property by myself or with a group of women when there is no support from any staff member on the property after 7:30 pm. I found that to be inconvenient at the least and quite dangerous at the most. The recording told us to Call 911 if you had an emergency. Could you imagine if you were locked out of your room?The next morning as we were leaving, we discovered a laundry basket with towels and shampoo on our porch. Quite frankly, it was too little too late. When we went to the center to check out, we thought that Ashley might have called them or left some sort of note regarding the horrible stay we had had the night before. Nope. And the front desk girl was clearly so forbidden from making decisions or empowering herself (or she doesnt know what hospitality is - and with Managers like Ashley setting the example I can see why) all she said was that she was sorry and she would tell a Manager.Well, we never heard from anyone at the resort. There are other hotels in the area - save money, get better security and service and stay there. This is at most a 2 star resort. They have a captive audience for weddings but dont make the mistake we did. Just because you make your prices higher doesnt make you a great resort. Lodging needs hospitality, customer service, safety, maintained grounds and convenience for your guests - all of which are lacking. Youd be better off pitching a tent and staying the night - just make sure it is after 7:30 pm - and no one will know!

Amaizing place️️️

I organized a customer event for my company. This was the first I have done for this company so it was very important to get everything right. The customers we entertained were very, very, VIPs. Everyone at the property was so professional, helpful, gracious and genuine. There was not one complaint from any of our guests, in fact many of the compliments we received on the event included compliments to the staff at Foxhall Resort. By the time we were through the first half of our first official day, all of our guests were relaxed, happy, well fed and felt like they were spending time with old friends. The organization, event planning and attention to detail are amazing. Karen and Graham made a great team and if anything didnt go as planned, they made sure it was seamless to our guests.

No wheelchair access to some areas. They need golfcarts to rent during your stay. Roads too rough for most cars. They sould follow River Ranch formula in Fl. off hwy 60. Second restaurant would be great. Just burgers and dogs.

The Staff there is kind and makes you feel like your at home. The scenery is AMAZING! They have four-wheelers Marriage Hall! and the rooms are like townhomes that are very affordable, They have free WiFi and the rooms are worth your stay!

This was the best 10 year anniversary trip ever. They had champagne in our room. We were right on the lake. It was beautiful, our ATV rides were so much fun. We will return.

My son had his wedding here. It was beautiful! The staff was professional and made us feel right at home. An elegant but rustic feel. Everything was perfect.

Foxhall has a beautiful factility with a ton of outdoor recreational options such as kayaking, canoeing, shooting range, clay shooting, paddle boarding, archery, just to name a few. It’s the perfect retreat from the city life hustle and bustle. It’s a bit far from everything and could use a few updates on the golf carts,but the resort itself and surrounding land is great. The grounds are stunning, relaxing and such a peaceful oasis. Staff is friendly and helpful; the young manager was even kind enough to help us with our bags. Would stay again!

The land is absolutely beautiful and although the cottage we stayed in (402) wasnt being worked on, the building next to us was. And when I say worked on, I mean literally being built. We received no warning about the construction going on (& it was everywhere). The room is very nice, but the bathroom doesnt make sense to me (no counter space at all and no fan in the bathroom). For less than what we paid, I could have stayed in a 4 star, and highly rated hotel in downtown Atlanta and received free breakfast the next morning. Once things are complete and all amenities are available I could maybe understand the high price of the room, but it felt like we were definitely over paying for what we received. As I read on another review somewhere, it is somewhat in the middle of nowhere so definitely have a full tank of gas before arriving. Also saw a cop on my way in and on my way out.

I am one of many wedding cake vendors for the venue. My experience with this venue has always been pleasant. The stables is roomy for the ceremony and reception. The legacy lookout has breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets. Beautiful venue to start your married life.

We stayed at Foxhall Resort 2 nights. The room was very comfortable. Staff was so helpful as we were traumatized on our way in from the airport because our GPS was not showing the correct maps and not being used to so much traffic was not easy. They welcomed us with ice cold watermelon water and a cool place to recoop. Enjoyed the pool and watching other guests fishing for large mouth bass. When we arrived, the Dove hunt was just starting and got to wish the hunters good luck and say a prayer for the doves.I love the southern charm and politeness of all we met. The wedding venue was wonderful and for guests well being, ice cool drinks were on hand to help everyone tolerate the lessening heat and humidity. Again, thank you to the Welcome building staff for all their help and making this trip fun.

Don’t show up after 7....Late? 8:30pm is not late. The staff never even answered our calls when trying to check in. We booked another hotel and thankfully was able to get some rest at about 11 o’clock at night.Looks like I’ll stop using Expedia in the future.

It was a nice facility for a professional event. Pretty grounds, v which are expansive. The food was good too!

Had dinner at The Paddock and the service was terrible. We went with about 14 people and this place is much better for a couple on date night. Our food was wrong and the waitress had to fix our bill multiple times, and then took about 15 minutes to refund our card and then recharge it. We never got water refills and the chef finally came to clear our table of appetizer plates, salad plates, entree dishes, and dessert dishes and refill waters while we waited on our bills to get corrected. Menu was creative, but it didnt meet expectations for the price.

Absolutely gorgeous property!!! We went for an outdoor screening of a Halloween movie and had a wonderful time! Hope they do it again next year, we will be back!!

Attended a beautiful wedding there last weekend. Stunning. My only wish is more outdoor lighting as we made our way out afterwards. One wrong turn and youll end up in a lake.
