My family and I had a great time I went after work for about an hour and a half and I had a great time my kids were there all day long they loved it.
Tickets for young kids are a little expensive. But we paid to get our 5 year old into the rodeo.
A nice place to visit and take in the sights. The exhibits and entertainment has been pretty impressive so far. A variety of food vendors are available for the fair foods you know you crave! The midway had a good assortment of games and rides. Drop in and check it out, admission is only $ 2.00!
It was fun. Didnt have a lot of rides for kids. Had to be 48. Food was awesome.
State fair is aleays great, but the parking has sucked for years.
I loved it but I wish gate 2 was open
Awesome time! But, bring but spray! The mosquitoes were terrible.
Great place to see family, friends & meet people! Also watch many Display & Animal Shows!!!!
Wyoming state fair rocks had the best time
Super fun! With only 4 days there was a lot to get in, but the attractions were exciting and the events were great! I cannot wait to see what they do next year, and who they bring in for the headliner!!
The smallest state fair I have ever been to it didnt even fill the entire state fair grounds!
Limited the parking area this year so its harder to find a spot to park. Need to get more vendors to come.
Incredible facilities
For an authentic Wyoming cowboy experience, come to Douglas for the Wyoming State Fair! The rodeo is the main attraction, but the booths and rides are fun too! Its nowhere near the size as other state fairs, but remember less than 1 million people live in Wyoming.
Fun
Great facility, could like better control around the arenas so horses have a quieter place to work
Spacious, staff is always helpful.
We drove up from Colorado on Monday morning and planned to stay two days. We were so disappointed to find out that the exhibits were not even available to view until Wednesday afternoon. We had already paid for our motel room for Monday night, so we spent the night and left first thing Tuesday to go to Mt. Rushmore and try to salvage our vacation. Other aspects of the fair were disappointing too - but that the judging of the exhibits mid week and delay to see them for visitors was unacceptable. That information could at least have been posted so we could have planned accordingly. What a waste of time and money!
Havent been impressed for years. Whole thing needs work.
Always a fun week . For the kids
Always clean and well maintained
So, straight to the point, these food stands, The Jackalope Grill, Green John Deere stand, Debs homemade bread (not homemade), Double E Enterprise, and Charcoal BBQ, all suck theyre insanitary and the foods old, over cooked, and overpriced.
Thanks for everything
Derby ,great fun
What happened to it being the normal state Fair... where did the days go?
Beautiful exhibition hall!
Needs to be moved to community that actually support it makes it bigger
Working there
IDont camp here. They are price gouging for campsites: $125 per night. The regular price is $50 through the run of the fair, including 9/19, but because we were considered eclipse camping, we were charged the higher rate.
