Beautiful place! Went here as a kid! My family settled here from Germany/England so we always visited every year! Dixon please never change! Keep the small town feel/look. It is what makes you special! There is something about driving through a town that keeps the main street the way it used to be, doesnt build up and expand to much. Statistically smaller towns and cities that keep to their roots and dont sell out to development and big business taking up every green spot available and keep their population to a smaller level have more educated people(smaller class sizes, individual attention, and a feeling of personal connection), they have stronger bonds, better morals, lower crime, and happier people in general and a better and stronger community. And that is one thing that makes Dixon amazing. I havent been in a long time so Im sure its changed but dont change it too much! Im coming back in the near future! Stay amazing Dixon!

Feeling left out. I have a motorized bicycle that I rode occasionally on the bike trail. I rode with respect and did not exceed 14 miles an hour much less the 20 mph we are allowed. Now theres a sign saying that Im not allowed.

Took a injured bird and they where able to find someone who could help it. Thought that was nice of them to do that

The trail facilities, especially Lowell Parkway for bikes and the walking trails inside Lowell Park, are amazing.
