Every aspect of the process of getting a very large terrarium to our home was guided by the extremely helpful and courteous staff of glasscages.com. We ordered over the phone what size we needed and got our copy of an invoice via email within the hour. It took about 2 months from order to receive, but your mileage may vary as they build to order. I was nervous about receiving a broken tank from its long journey from TN to MI; however, the packaging was excellent and our terrarium was superbly intact! This is a great company with great service.

We recently picked up a 180 gallon from Glass cages and we are very happy with our experience! Our tank was very well made and very sturdy. Their glass lids could use some tweaking to make it easier to lift but its nothing to complain about. When we arrived they loaded up our tank for us and Joe gave us a tour of their facilities and building process. He was very hospitable and the property the building is located is beautiful. If we didnt live 3 hours away we would be coming back to visit!

Ten years ago, I ordered a custom-made tank, lid, and stand from this company for my painted turtle. Anyone who has an adult aquatic turtle knows that it is very difficult to find aquariums that are appropriate for turtles and have large basking areas. The original I had made was just right - 36”wx24”dx17”h, with a basking platform and ramp. It worked wonderfully for my turtle for years, but this year I decided she had grown enough to need a deeper tank. I communicated with Joe from the company and he designed and built a deeper tank, exactly to my specifications. He was very responsive to my emails, made sure to get my feedback and approval of the plans before beginning the building process, and answered all my questions about shipping and how I would pick up the tank from the shipping hub. I had a very positive experience and am very happy with the new tank. My turtle will be very happy in this tank. I highly recommend this company, especially for turtle owners. They also have an option that includes an area for female turtles to lay eggs. My tank doesn’t include this so I can’t give details on that, but Joe did mention it during our planning discussions. The aquariums are not cheap, but the quality of work, materials, and customer service is high.

Went fishing there today had a great time

I have ordered two tanks from these guys. First one was a 90gallon That lasted ten years until I had a house fire. That tank was beautiful. I just received my second tank a 140gallon. The ladies that took my order were so polite and helpful. Then I talked to Joe about hole locations and he was great as well. I will never purchase a fish tank from anyone else. It arrived and I inspected it and it was flawless and the front panel is the low iron Glass and it’s unbelievably clear!!!! Highly recommend this company.

Emailed asking about customizing a lid, and were told they don’t do custom lids (screen).Asked about one on the site with a lengthwise hinge, was told whey don’t sell those.With little choice for the size we needed, we ordered one (ended up having to be a customs size; despite being told by someone via email they “didn’t do that”).Lid is off by probably 1/4”. The thick screen on the site pics, is very different than what is in the tank; probably won’t actually work for our needs and u like the pics on the site, thin sheet meta, not galvanized.Unlike the pics on the site, it’s spray painted, which immediately cracked and began to fleck off.Very unhappy overall with our lid but are stuck with it.

I ordered multiple tanks from Glass Cages and could not be happier. They have implemented a ton of now features and QA in the last few months. I ordered a 350g, 3 40g, and a 100g sump. fully custom to my needs. The silicone seams were perfect on every tank, the glass eurobracing was spotless, and every bulkhead that was drilled was amazing, no chips. The edges were polished and rounded on all tanks. I already ordered another frag tank from them. Beth, and Donna was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was even contacted that they needed to fix a blemish on the eurobrace and replaced it before It left the warehouse. I am and I will bring all of my business to them any time I need tanks. Buy with confidence.

Honestly, I have no idea what this place is or how to find the front door. Very confusing. Drove forever out in the countryside but no real direction once you got there. Website said they were open until 5 but when we eventually called to find out how to find the door, she said they were closed. It was 3:30. Who knows if it even exists but word to the wise, dont come alone. Kinda creepy too.

I had a great tour of the facility and had an opportunity review work-in-progress on a number of builds. I have over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and from my observations, I noted high quality products and yes keep in mind the overall assembly process is not rushed and yes some time is necessary to ensure the sealing process has completed before rushing to add water. I plan to have my tank and stand last for decades to come! Therefore, I appreciate waiting to receive my tank and stand, which allows more time for planning.I strongly encourage visiting Glasscages and seeing the overall manufacturing process. Everybody was extremely friendly and more than willing to answer my questions.

Tom was great. Gave me a tour of the place and his fish stock. Some of the best looking fish Ive ever seen. You can even go cat fishing for only ten bucks a day. Really sweet deal. The tank frame I got for my 75 gallon tank was pristine. No bowing or burls in the plastic. Perfect quality. Would have given more stars but Im only allowed 5. Well worth 100 times that. I will definitely be back.

I purchased to 50 long for a confined space and although it took 2 1/2 weeks to get the tank it was well worth the wait.

This place is awesome! Got the full tour, they built my sump while I waited. All because he was there to sell me some bulkheads on a saturday. This guy knows his tanks!!!!!! Hes got quiet the setup, 50kw solar farm, 2 story angle fish hatchery, probably 500 stocked tanks and kiddy pools full of fish. Simply awesome!

One if not the best company making custom aquariums, with online ordering and a wide selection of offerings. The factory/shop located here in middle TN is great for locals to visit on their open house Saturdays . Here you can get great deals on canceled ordered items or scratch and dent pieces. I will be visiting here again for my aquarium building needs.

Customer service from order, and tracking were awful. The project once delivered 4 weeks late was not what we expected. The quality was very poor. Ended up scrapping the almost $500 unit and buying something local.

Gave me wrong spec detail of top layout,witch was a critical for me because I was building a stainless top to fit their spefications( for turtles to bask) after arival (3wks) it was wrong , and to top it off I have to wait another month for the silicone to cure be for I can use it ? I just wanted a stock tank now I loose 8 and I have to make a crazy top adapter to make my top work, when I called up they acted like I should have known that this is how they build them ..? That was why I asked then for the detail when I ordered it ( tough *itty clause) Just make sure to deny shipment if it is not EXACTLY what you ordered because they just will change their tune to fit their needs . very disappointed , I would STRONGLY reccomend buying from somewhere else. I feel like I was taken for a ride (promised one thing and delivered another )Only to be left with a $600 turd and hard feelings And my Brushed stainless topper cost me another $1100 now im screwed :( and my old tank continues to leak while I wait for mod parts and silicone to dry ( for a nother month) :( :( :( :( :(
