I get the chance to stay in touch with my long time friends and fellowship with them on all types of competitive levels of team basketball at the age of 60plus

Park in the neighborhood where its all good they just need to do a little more work up there

The place doesnt look like much from the outside but it has since great amenities inside.

They have cleaned the trash up off the ground in months people left all kinds of trash, but the grass is cut

Perfect rec center for seniors, with nothing to do and nowhere to go. At least check it out couple hours a day twice a week . I think you might like it.

Worst aqua Zumba class Ive ever attended & the life guard tried to take a picture of my girl getting out of the pool. The light skinned curly head lifeguard, what kinda weird stuff is that, no telling how many pictures of women he has in his phone. SMH true story.

Though the city should be shamed of itself for not properly lighting the lot to this Rec Ctr. It has an awesome pool and awesome activities and staff.

Lessons and classes are affordable. They have knowledgeable staff and instructors.

Everything is so unreliable at butzel activity center! They change their rules every week messing with my schedule, I mean I dont get whats wrong with a solid schedule. I always have to call off work or miss my chance on doing something at the center because they want to keep changing it up! Its so annoying! Plus theres barely any employees up there lately , I just called up there and they said the ice rink was closed because no employees were here. Bro someone just told me a week ago the rink was open from 6am to 5pm now its closed at 11am (when I called) because of no employees

I havent used their services yet but when i did go in there. They were very polite and helpful.

Nice track and decent b-ball courts, also great kids playground but beware of the unsupervised kids other than that have fun.

It was absolutely wonderful!!!! A positive, safe, friendly environment. Professional and knowledgeable staff. It was very Clean and peaceful. A very well ran building! Im so thankful for the Butzel Recreation Center. This is just what we need in our neighborhood!!! I feel EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE bringing my children here. Just an example of what we can do when we all come together and work as a FAMILY!!!

The boxing couch is the best and I learned a lot from him and he wont let no one make fun of u because everyone trys and its a cool places so u should come

My daughter went to summer camp two years in a row, 8 weeks long 8am-5pm. A few small complaints from her here and there. But what 8 yr doesn’t have a complaint. But overall a great experience for her. She learned to swim and they go on several field trips every week.

This is a old felicity and it shows. It has A good swimming pool and an ok work out room. Basketball court has A good floor. Unfortunately the rest room wasnt in good condition at all.

Love this place they have so much to offer for the community

Milton Ross is top-notch theres not another trainer in the city that even comes close to the love that he gives fairly to all who walk through the doors

Went to the water arobicks. Class it was very nice a good work out for all ages and the mail Lifgrand was very Good leading the men and women class.

Ok,Its ok, they changed the swim cycle/price of course, less for more. Theyll probably do the same for the summer camp...we found out, without notice, but im sorry, its jus ok, nothin spectacular (watch out for the family plans)

This is the place to bring your kids heck your whole family for playscapes jungle gym playground basketball ,Baseball,swimming dance class football list goes on and on when you go there in the summer and pull and park there is so many people it feels a little intimidating but when you get out there theres this feeling of COMMUNITY IT FEELS SO GOOD and WARM

The place is terrible to me. The only good part is the hockey arena. The main part of the center is terrible. I have been going since 2008 an Ive seen a decline in the center. Im known there and everyone knows me well but the center is just terrible. This is only MY review. Go there and make memories and experiences.

This is one of only rec center in Detroit thats has a ice rink in it theres a pool basketball court this is a great place to your children to.

Its a lot of kids trying to steal and some of them sneak in at times and the gym is almost never open . Its a great place just needs to improve some things it really can be a place to have a great time tho if our community would work together I been coming up here scene the 6 Th grade and Ive played with al there teams they just need a little help up there.

I took my 3yr old son to sign up for swim class only $30 and $2 membership fee for him and $10.for me . You can beat that especially for 4 weeks
