This is a great place for lunch/early dinner if you want to avoid the crowds. They just moved across the street from their old location and there is definitely a ton of character. Just take a look around and you will see various mediums of art. I had their chicken wrap which was good (The chicken was great and nicely seasoned as well as the the fries). They were perfectly seasoned. Its good elevated pub fare and I was not disappointed.The menu has just enough of a selection but it is not by any means extensive nor is it limited. It is what I would call clean cut. It can get quite busy especially with the Tigers crowds and I personally avoid those times as it can get slightly hectic and youd have to wait just a little bit more for your food. Overall pretty good experience and would visit again.

Everyone at our table was quite pleased. The service here is great. Prices are appropriate. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.

I came to Detroit from Canada to see a show at The Fox, and discovered the Town Pump when looking for a drink and dinner before the show. It was fantastic. Good food, good drinks, great value, great atmosphere. There is no way youll do better if youre in the area and would like to hit a local spot.

Great little bar and grill very close to multiple concert venues (Fillmore, Fox, Little Caesars). Amazing drinks and a Smashburger that left us wanting to come back the next day. Good atmosphere, great service and decent prices, we loved it.

Located near Fox Theatre and Detroit downtown. Nice atmosphere, food good with relation to price. The service took a little bit too long due to the number of customer - probably they need one waiter more. Wide choice of drinks. For sure I will come back.

Havent been to new location yet, but all my trips to or near the original BIG D have been 5, go there, have a great night, then grab some Vernors, some pickled bologna, and head home a happy traveller!

This place has a nice atmosphere.

Favorite stop before or after a show at the Fox or Fillmore. Never have trouble finding a local brew that I can enjoy. Food is always excellent and their late-night pizza hits the spot. Service has always been good or better on every visit.

Very cool bartender and an excellent looking bar. Three floors inside, each really well done and great furnishings and lighting, absolutely love the aesthetic of this place. Drinks were well-made and price was great, definitely enjoyed my time at the Town Pump Tavern!

First time visit to their new location. Good selection of beer and the foodwas very good. Both at reasonable prices. Not like the rip off at Hockeytown Cafe.Our group of 8 sat upstairs and our waitress Summer made sure we had everything on time so we could make our show at The City TheatreGreat old bar atmosphere. Would visit again before or after a show.

Nice newer place, but sat at a table upstairs and no server ever came near us, we went back down to get served. It was very busy but seemed unorganized. Good drinks and the flatbreads we got were tasty.

Came here during happy hour and had a wonderful experience. We ordered several appetizers from the happy hour menu for just under half of thier normal price and they were all fantastic(we got calamari, baked cheese and something similar to escargot with shrimp instead of snails). The steaks were cooked to perfection and the special was an incredible deal for 40$. The burger was incredible generous and one of the best Ive had in my life. The staff were very friendly and service was a treat. If youre going out on a date or something similar this is the place to go.
