Cool little place to pass some time. Our 2 year old loved it. He was able to get some prizes after only a short time of playing. We ended up going twice during our trip.

Super fun! We had a blast today. My husband and I both had $50 and it took us a good 3 hours to go through both cards. Great selection of games for 1 or 2 players. Some had 4 players. Definitely will be going back.

Went here with my family on a Saturday. It was lots of fun for my 8 year old and 3 year old. Good selection of games and everything is on a card instead of coins or tokens. I would highly recommend going to see the alligator park on the other side of the arcade. It was amazing and I was surprised that it was free. I added lots of photos to help those planning a family outing in Destin.

Overall it was a good time. We love arcades and have played all of their major games in other arcades. The price was a little steep per game but pretty usual. It was around $1 per game, unless you wanted 2 player. If youre going with just 2 people or a date I reccomend going no higher than the 55 play card because we got halfway through ours and started replaying game because we needed to use the card. This happened because the arcade is actually pretty small. So scout it out beforehand. The staff was friendly and helpful If you needed anything.

This place kind of takes away from the arcade experience. Every little game is atleast a dollar to play once, there is no dumping tokens into the games and ripping the tickets off when they spit out as all of this is done with a loadable card that tracks funds and tickets. Kind of really bland

Went on vacation this past weekend wanted to have fun with the kiddos and wasnt disappointed by fat daddys arcade!!!! We all enjoyed ourselves kids young as 2 and older adults!!! Will visit again!!

They workers are AMAZING. The prices are perfect. The kids had a blast and so did I.

Overall, it’s a nifty place. $1=1 point, most games are $1.00. Wish the ticket payouts were a little bit more generous. $50 got use 500 tickets and we played only redemption games. Prize selection is very good.

I wasnt impressed at all. I was expecting more for some reason. My son enjoyed himself so I was thrilled about that. It says pizza and ice cream on the front of the building, I saw neither. No concessions stand. Its a basis arcade

I had family visiting from out of town. My nephew hates the beach so we decided to take him to the arcade. No wait times for games and tickets weren’t stingy at all. Cost a lot of tickets for simple items though. I wish they had some sort of snack concessions, other than having to eat at fudpuckers. But overall everyone had a great time.

Fun place but a lot of the games are made just to get tickets for lousy prizes needs more games that are fun instead of money wasters...if you’re under 15 you might enjoy this place but I found one visit to be enough for a lifetime

Fun arcade and games

This place is a lot of fun you can come watch alligators without having to pay an arm and a leg.you can sit at the bar get some margaritas or pina coladas, not the strongest but a good colada. The arcade is a lot of fun. everything is air conditioned so you wont be dying of heat stroke. I definitely recommend this for the whole family

It was so much fun! I won a drone from one of the games. That was really cool! There was only a couple of broken games. Most everything was working. Bathrooms were clean. The games use little plastic swipe cards and the tickets are tracked electronically.

Spent a relaxing day with my grandkids as they played Arcades on our vacation. They had fun and we also did some souvenir shopping that day.

Pretty cool place to spend an hour. Kids loved it! $50 gets your family an hour on non stop fun. High school kids at the counter could use a lesson on customer service, but overall a good time.

There seems to be a lot of reviews below that don’t understand what an arcade IS. If you’re looking for “value in your investment” that’s not what an arcade IS. An arcade exchanges your money for ENTERTAINMENT. If you’re looking to “invest” your money go open a 401(k) don’t expect Fat Daddy to repay your $100 with $200 worth of value when you redeem little Sally’s tickets. I wish I could take away some of those low stars for you Fat Daddy. On to my review...We went here on a a rainy day. In the future we will stop in on a sunny day because Fat Daddy does it right. The arcade was sparkling. Ownership clearly focuses on cleanliness. Floors were clean, games were clean, glass was clear, and the whole arcade just felt new and cared for. The arcade was well staffed and the staff helpful and engaged. The games!!! The games were varied, working, clean, seemed modern, and were a blast. We had the following ages in our group: 70, 63, 34, 33, 30, 10, 8, 5. We all found things to play. Lots of games to play as a team of two. Great and well maintained claw machines. We won several things from the claws including a pink unicorn my niece hasn’t put down.So the big thing with kids is the “prizes”. Fat Daddy’s has an amazing selection. The way they have curated their prizes and the way they display the options is very well done. We had them combine all of our tickets and then split them among the kids equally. All the kids got some super cool items. Our total “investment” for 12 people was around $200. We walked out with bags full of stuff. My 5 year old got a dinosaur claw shovel, a huge bouncing ball, a package that had a soldier/boat/dinosaur in it. Weird combo but he loves it.Most every game takes “1 credit”. Credits are purchased simply from a kiosk for $1 per credit. However, if you can spend more the credits become less expensive. We ended up doing $50/family which equated to 70 credits. We played for about an hour and a half on that.Overall, this is probably the best arcade I’ve been to. I hope Fat Daddy’s continues to do the little things right. It’s noticed. We will be back next October!

Great place to hang out. Super fun for kids

The Arcade is great size. Kids and parents had a blast. We went twice in a 5 day period due to the weather. We won the big ball 3,000 tickets which took about 7-12 tries. Won beats head phones (33 tries). Won two TY stuff animals (7-8 tries per TY stuff animal). I never would of thought I would spend $120 for one hour in a arcade ($250 total). 95% of games are $1 for about 20 seconds of game play. You will not win a lot of tickets playing video games. If u want to win tickets play the big ball claw game. All in all fun for us but I would of rather spent the money at the outlets. Kids...

Sitting adjacent to Fuddpuckers, Fat Daddys has a days worth of entertainment. The expansive arcade is to to offer old favorites and new cutting edge arcade experiences. If you need a place to find food and play a game or two this is a one spot shop. Pizza drinks and arcade games and a full feature laser tag polish this place off.

At busy times, theres no parking at all. Also multiple games were down, at least one wasnt marked that it was though. Kids kept wasting money and getting frustrated. Liked it better when they used coins instead of the card system, but still a good atmosphere. Friendly staff, too.

Fun for the whole family.

Nice place overall, friendly employees and plenty of games to play. It is expensive but I enjoyed my time there. I definitely would go again in the future. I also enjoyed seeing the alligators.

“Bucky Cheese” on the sign out front might be helpful. This is a Chuck E. Cheese without the Pizza. It has a few video games. Otherwise get ready to drop the ball, round and round it goes. $80 later , turn in your tickets for a whistle and emoji eraser.

Like any other arcade these days but the games are better priced compared to other places where we live up north. Would definitely take the family back for more fun.

I personally did not like it. While we were there, we witnessed someone open one of the games and set up the game so another person would win. The person who opened the game worked there, while the person playing the game also worked there but was off shift. When we reported it, all they did was want to start mess and take sides of the person playing the game. It was totally not right and considered stealing. Others work hard to win those games, While others go and make it easy for themselves. Im glad to see that there is some honest people in this world, however at Fat Daddys, you will not find an honest person. This may seem silly and kind of dumb, however it was wrong and should have never been done.

Absolutely do not attempt to play the Claw Machines here. You will grab something perfect and right before the claw gets to the top it will relieve the tension and drop whatever it was that you picked up. Complete waste of money for sure. 98% of the games are 1$ each, so hope your wallet is fat. The duck game did not have sufficient water pressure to push the ducks. Some Machines would take credits off your card and not operate. Some Machines that required little orange balls would be missing the orange balls so therefore you couldnt play the full length of the game. Anyway thats how my experience was today here.

Lots of machines. Like any ticket/point arcade you have to choose wisely on what games are a better bet. I had a lot of fun on the DC comics collectibles card push machine.

Awsome games and great people. At check out my 5yo had very few tickets. He wanted something a bit out of his range. The staff told him he could have it. Made his day! A great end to a great trip!

Pretty dope have a good selection of games and good prizes most games cost 1 credit and 200 costs $150. Overall had a good time and definitely worth it

Me and my wife came here to have a good time while we were on vacation from New York. On our last day we came back to redeem our points so we can get a couple of things for our daughters but when we got there the staff was acting like if we were invisible even though we were trying to catch their attention they still wouldn’t attend us. We were also the only people waiting to be attended, no other customer were around. Supervisors should do a better job with their employees I am highly disappointed. When we decide to come back to Myrtle beach we will not attend this place ever again. Horrible customer service. We were here on 3/31/2019

There are not enough regular arcade games: (almost) all they have are games of chance for kids that cost a lot and give little - its a Kid Casino! Fifty dollars bought two kids about thirty minutes of entertainment. Brightest point: the guy who cashed in my little girls tickets, gave both of them the toys they wanted even though they cost a lot more tickets than the girls had. He was a Prince!

Tons of games for all ages. Connected to fudpuckers so you can go from playing games to seeing Gators and eating. The employees were very helpful getting the card set up to play games. Very clean place and great staff.

My 14 year old daughter and I had a blast here. Good variety of games and easy to use credit card type game card system. Stop in and have some fun. Located next to Gator World in beautiful Destin, Florida

This is by far our favorite arcade that we have visited. We were able to use cards that hold your ticket count, so not carrying around hundreds of tickets. Its pretty big inside and we were there a long time, so much to do and play! Our 3 year old loved it and so did we. Its neat because it is attached to Fudpuckers, so you can walk over to see the little gators too!

Great arcade... the grand kids loved it. They dont use tokens which I enjoyed. The only complaint I would have is that you purchase cards that have your credit on it. MOST times it took multiple times for the readers to actually work. By multiple times I mean 4, 5, 6... times and now and again even more. Sort of killed the mood with young kids.

I have played at alot of arcades and this one is the biggest scam. All of the claw machines are rigged . All the games are set for you to lose fast!!! Dont waste your time or money.I spent $30 and had enough points for a plastic lizard at the end.Copy to the ownersFix your machines no one likes feeling like they have been screwed .

Decent place to take your kids for a couple hours of fun. You have to purchase a game card and “credits” are placed on the card. This place can get expensive fast because most every game cost $1.00 (a credit)....and the average game lasts about 30 seconds. There is a very large selection of arcade style games, however, roughly 20% of the games were not operational the day we went. On a couple of occasions, a game malfunctioned or took our “credit” without allowing us to play. With that said, the staff gladly added credits back to our game card, no questions asked. Kids had a good time, pocketbook did not.

Prizes able to be won in the machines have progressively gotten worse. It’s mostly all cheap off-brand stuff from China. This arcade used to have really good stuff like PS4’s and iPads available to be won but Florida passed a dumb law a few years ago saying arcades can’t have anything over $50 in value in a prize machine. Still, I can think of several decent things they could put in the machines. Gift cards, Echo Dots, Tile Bluetooth trackers, etc.

I didnt expect much from here due to the size but it turned out to be a good time for all. Teenage boys and younger daughter had a great time. I felt like my money went further here than other arcades Ive been to. Three $20 cards lasted about 90 minutes. We all had a great time!

I very family friendly place. The reason it is getting a 3 star is because the place is kind expensive to play the games. The games were fun and all but it cost a dollar to play almost every single game. Overall still a fun place.

Came here at 9pm the doors were locked while the website said till 10pm. The workers took it in their hands to lock the door an hour early. Is this the right policy? Lost a lot of business tonight.
