The Village Door Music Hall is a great intimate entertainment venue. They feature numerous tribute bands and music groups/artists. We enjoyed reasonably priced dinner and drinks, while listening to American Floyd. A great Pink Floyd tribute band. The staff was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. We were treated to a wonderful evening of music and dining. The venue itself has an excellent sound system and lighting. Plan to return soon and often.
Loved the atmosphere and the food was good too. Im from Texas so its hard to beat Texas bbq. We really enjoyed the karaoke. Fun! Will definitely come back when we visit Destin again.
We were here for 3 nights on vacation. Night one we tried to go, they were so backed up in the kitchen and couldn’t keep up with what they had going on so we were unable to dine there. Night two we Tried again. We called and called all day to make sure they would be able to accommodate us. Never answered the phone. We drive there. Got there at 8:50 and the lady tells us the kitchen is closed at 9. This place looks like it has a great menu but has serious staffing issues. I’d say we might try you when we’re here next time but if management or staff doesn’t get better y’all might not be around.
Good experience here yesterday with the meal. The Cajun Shrimp Pasta was enjoyable .. sauced enough to cover all the pasta, good generous portion of shrimp, and just what I expected. The salad was fresh, and the Roumalade Dressing tangy too. The brownie was a great finish for this lunch.Service was good for such a large group. It was pretty breezy so we all moved inside

So we came for Seinfeld trivia. Menu on the website is not correct. Do not eat here. They are for the music tribute bands. So I recommend next door medical resturant. Also extremely warm in the restaurant area.
Very disappointed . I was excited to try this location . Upon arrival told I couldn’t sit at the bar outside only the inside one even though there were chairs at the outside one and that’s where all the staff was. I could get passed this but then it took forever for someone to acknowledge me In the absolutely empty building . When I asked for a menu he found one on the bar and handed it to me without even checking it if it was clean or wiping it down to ensure it was sanitized, as they were not disposable as most restaurants are doing . Also none of the staff were wearing masks , which in the current situation does not make me feel comfortable at all . I will be spending my money at a different establishment . They show no care for their patrons .
Trivia night was average and the food was awful. Drinks were just okay. The place is decorated like a music venue not great for casual dining. Should be a nightclub not a restaurant. We got coupons for winning trivia but they dont let you use them. Told them no thanks.
The food was good it was a burger and fries and gator bites was (small in portion) The prices on the website did not match the price I paid at pick up So pay attention overpriced also over the phone they give military discount in person at pick up no discount was add . I was expecting to pay around $40 left paying $54 hubby didnt know how much it was so he paid it when he picked up. We are local and I expect to pay what Im told over the phone when ordering carry out.
Great atmosphere and food BUT- it’s completely uncalled for to charge $6- $7 for Kraft Mac and cheese. That’s absurd. Put it on your menu or lower the price.
They got us in quicker than we were told. Once seated our drinks were fairly prompt. We waited over an hour for our food and the waitress only checked on us once. The food was ok, really nothing special! It was very over priced and our waitress never refilled our drinks the entire time. We had decided she would not be getting a tip. She finally brought our ticket and part of my sons order was on our ticket. Our bill included a large tip which meant our bill was $91 total. My husband gave her a $100 bill and she came back a short time later and said she would have to have correct change she couldnt give us all her one dollar bills. Were done...wont go back!
Everything is GLUTEN FREE AND DELICIOUS! SO HAPPY WE FOUND THIS PLACE! GUMBO, CHICKEN TENDERS AND FRIED FISH ALL GLUTEN FREE! WE WILL BE BACK!

The only reason I am giving it one star is because there is not an option for zero. This place had the awful service, we didn’t get the drinks we orders, never drink refills, had to ask for plates and silverware! We also had to ask for our check, get it after they were done, and they added the tip without us knowing which is why they treated us so badly because they had already had a tip secured. They were not very nice about the issues and there were MANY other families having the same issues. The food was decent but still over priced.
I loved the intimate feel of this place. There isnt a bad place to sit or stand for a concert. The TVs through out also have whatever act is onstage on the screens, so you dont miss anything! Multiple bars. 1 inside(didnt go upstairs, might be another) 2 outside.Ate the pulled pork sandwich, no complaints. The potato salad was excellent! Beer was very cold and the bar tenders attentive. Looking forward to going back! Wished they had more stalls in the ladies room.

Aside from a guy who thought he was either Samurai L Jackson, my wife and I had an amazing 1st Valentines day seeing both Here Come The Mummies and the other group performing. The staff was more than accommodating, even going so far as to make sure my wife (who isnt a drinker) had a balanced drink, and the kitchen staff was on point with the apps (fast and delicious), as well as a chicken sandwich and PERFECT fries as a side. Great place to spend an evening, folks. Do not miss out!!!

Horrible experience. The food is overpriced, definitely wasn’t good. Then we waited over 30 minutes for them to take our money. When I spoke to the manager and expressed my concerns she was VERY rude. I would never go back again. Customer service is definitely lacking at this place. If I could give it zero stars I would.
This is a huge awesome place. It is located in a neat plaza that has a lot of things to do after your meal. Theres an upper area they have live music and sports to watch on the tvs. They have worked out many of The kinks they had as a business. I personally love the variety of menu and the fair price. It is a must go to while visiting the emerald coast.
I got the 1/2 pound pulled pork. It was more like 1/4 pound and a lot of fat. Service wasnt the best. The best part of meal was baked beans.

We went on a Thursday, big mistake, it was karaoke night. We sat on the patio for two hours listening to people butcher song after song while waiting for our way over priced food. It was terrible!!!
They were out of 4 items we wanted to order. The seafood menu was very limited to shrimp, which they were out of.
Unfortunately my Fiancee Machelle will no longer be working here. The environment that the management has created for the staff and patrons is horrendous. All you have to do is read the reviews on here, yelp and facebook to see. Just in the last week, Machelle received multiple 5 star ratings. The management has received multiple 1 star ratings for being rude and dismissive to customers. I will be surprised if this location makes it through the next 6 months. Its really sad because this place hashad multiple music groups I enjoy and could be a great place. Unfortunately the management will ultimately ended up closing it down.

Wildly mediocre in virtually every way. Food was meh, wife and I both ordered burnt ends on pulled pork sandwich. Not much food for $16 a plate plus youd be better served taste and quality-wise at virtually any regional-based bbq chain. Were from Midwest and this place would go out of business serving this bbq there. The service was very slow considering it was only 60% filled in the outdoor area and had no patrons inside. I think the best quality about this place was their french fries were alright, literally nothing else real positive to say sadly. You can certainly do better in the Destin area.
Came here to eat Saturday night 06/20 and it was the slowest service and the WORST FOOD! The waitress was busy as they all were, seemed understaffed and there wasn’t that many tables at the time. Ordered a mojito and the mint leaves in the drink were awful looking not to mention who puts LEMON in a mojito?! The drink took a good 30 mins to even be made, by that time I didn’t even want it. Told the waitress we were not happy with the food at all, she was alright and took the food off our bill, but even after the food was taken off the ticket for being terrible the drinks and appetizers added up to be super overpriced. Please save your money and go to acme oyster house next door instead. You won’t be disappointed there. As far as this place went I’d never recommend to anyone.

Great music venue, we love seeing the band performances there. The sound and lighting people are great. Food and service a bit below average but has improved in the past several months.
A five star rating doesnt really seem fair. We think it deserves 10+.This was a pleasant surprise! The food here is absolutely amazing! We have eaten ribs at the world famous Sugarfire Smokehouse in St Louis, Missouri and the ribs and Bbq sauces at Village Door were over the top better! The smoked turkey was absolutely as good if not better than the ribs. Moist with a very nice smoke flavor combined with just the right amount of seasoning. No Bbq sauce was really needed but trying all of them also proved to be a real treat! The homemade shrimp sauce, potato salad and baked beans are all equally delicious!If you can request a waitress we highly recommend Machelle! She is very upbeat, friendly, helpful and also helped make this an experience we will share with our friends when they come to Destin as well as our friends at the condo here. Having a good waitress is just as important as how hood the food is and she was great!We will DEFINITELY be back!!So take a minute to stop by and try the amazing food and meet the awesome staff! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The management was rude and dismissive. We paid for tickets that were extremely overpriced for what we got. The speakers were “blown” apparently and we could not hear the band. However during the time before the main event there was a smaller band that played and the speakers worked just fine. The food was dry and awful tasting for what was charged. The bar ran out of beer and other drinks halfway through the concert. We were told by our waiter that the last manager quit a week ago. This place needs some serious help!
No beer on tap that night. Very limited selection of bottled beer. Pulled pork sandwich was cold. Music was great!I would go back, but just for music.

I love this place. The music acts are almost always great and the staff is friendly as hell and always making the night more fun. Shout out to Shea, Victoria and Bill who always make sure people are having a great time. Im just sorry that it took me and my wife so long to find this place. Shame more tourists dont know about this place while their here too. I havent eaten here yet so i cant comment on the food....but i do see a lot of people eat here.

I am a local and was very disappointed with the level of food tonight. They were out of a lot of food and the food we did order was not done well. I paid $17 for a fish sandwich that was about the size of a JR Burger from Wendy’s and fried that felt and tasted like they had been sitting in a warmer for an hour. I would recommend going next door to Acme Oyster House as I’ve never had a bad meal there.
Im not s country music fan, but last nights band has me rethinking the country music scene! Great band - Mr Paisley did an awesome job, along with the headliner! Loved the violin!!
The food was good. The crab was really salty and not flavorful like Im used to. The loaded bay chip were good, but confusing. Too many flavor profiles going on. The service was top notch, but we had to pay a $10 entertainment cover to sit outside and eat. You cant even hear the music outside so I dont even understand the cover, but oh well.
This is a great place to see concerts. They have some really good entertainment. Look on Facebook for upcoming events.
Don’t bother paying for a ticket. Just slip in the side doors. They don’t check also, watch your tab. They like to add drinks that weren’t yours.
Not sure why the waitress didn’t start with what they did have in stock. Which was virtually nothing. No tap. Out of 50% of their bottle beers and it took 45 minutes to get a drink. The place wasn’t even half full... Service was awful. Pretty sure they tried to scam us. Food was a 5/10 when we finally got it 1.5 hours later.

Every time we go to trivia there is something that makes it unfair. Bigger teams than 6 and questions that are wrong. They still charge you to do trivia. I spoke to the manager and nothing was done with the bigger teams. This isn’t first time that has happened and they wonder why they can’t get business. The people who won had 12 people at their table, second place had 8 people at their table.
Service was a little slow, but management was there to take care of us. Food was really good. Im a BBQ fan anyway but my beautiful wife loved her pasta. Good prices and good drinks. Will come back for sure.

We cant thank Jill and John enough for the wonderful time we had at the Uriah Heep concert. We live 2 hours away and had never been to the venue. We bought general admission tickets, but found out a few days before that we may not have a seat. I emailed the venue and John came right back and said we could upgrade our tickets to VIP. Jill took over and took care of everything, she even reserved us the 2 best seats in the House. Then she turned us over to Carole who was our bartender. She was so attentive and friendly. This is a beautiful and intimate venue and we will be back every chance we get. The staff is amazing and everyone was so helpful. Me and my family vacation in Destin every year and stay at ariel dunes. Last night i visited this location since it was close to the condos. I am so glad my husband and i decided to come out. The food was great and the entertainment was AWESOME. The staff was very courteous and attentive as well. At 9pm they turn the restaurant into a club and boy did i have a great time. The DJ played great party music and kept the crowd going. I met several locals and other vacationers and we had a ball. I would definitely recommend anyone who visits destin to check this place out.
We just did a trivia night and soon after saw a show here. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Abby, our waitress, was just fantastic!The food is decent. Drinks are good.The sound system and lighting is great! And the trivia was organized well.
We went to Seinfeld trivia last Wednesday at the Seascape Village Door. Our first visit and had a great time! It was fun to play, although we didnt know nearly as much about the series as we thought. Good food and the service from Shea was even better--he gave us great recommendations. Well definitely be back soon.

Wife and I first time here and there was a great trivia event, great MC doing Friends trivia. Place was packed but there was room at the bar (where we like to sit anyway) ordered some wings for starter and then smoked turkey and brisket. It all came out at the same time which sucked but, the food was good. We will come back again.

Went for the LA guns concert. Sat in the back and had a meal while we watched the opening bands, our server Theresa was exceptional and recommended a new beer that we both loved. Food was excellent and we eventually went inside for LA Guns. Great view from just about anywhere, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Nothing but great things here.Excellent service, great food, and a fantastic atmosphere. Clean as could be. Also a very fast kitchen. Definitely going to be recommending this one!

Yikes. Not worth it. There was no live music when a friend and I came to check it out yet we were still charged $28 per drink, which was wayyy too sweet so we had to ask for an extra shot of well-vodka to tone it down a bit of which we were charged another $10. So nearly $40 for just a drink alone. Plus they add a $10 Entertainment Fee. HARD NOPE.
It was our first time here. The servers were great! Funny and very helpful. The food was really good! The chicken sandwich and the hamburger were so good! Also had the gator bites. They had a big screen playing music videos on it. We had a blast watching them and Ill admit I was singing along! Lol! Try it. You wont be sorry!

Wonderful experience!Came across this place by chance and it was a great find. I had the pulled pork sandwich (definitely try the Tangy Texas Style sauce) and it was delicious! My girlfriend had the chicken and waffles and they were light and fluffy and the chicken was tender and juicy. We also had the gumbo which was also delicious, big chunks of meat and shrimp! We came on a Monday night, very laid back, and service was great (thank you, Annie)!

Me and my group went for Trivia Night, Disney Trivia with a chance for $10000. While we didnt win, the MC was great and kept everyone 100% entertained. A bar is available for parents, and miscellaneous entertainment for the whole family. Definitely intend to go back.

Well let’s start with the services.. The waitress couldn’t give us much information about the menu. Once we asked about something she would disappear for approximately 7-8 minuets. Then when someone else at our table asked, she was off again to find the answer. Ordering our dinner for 6 people took way too long. The drinks were well overpriced and watered down. The mixologist behind the bar was not doing well at simple mixed drinks. The overall appearance and atmosphere was well put together but the layout of the restroom facilities were poor. For the main down stairs facility was a single stale and urinal yet the upstairs was much larger.. poor planning I would say. The other issue was the food .. once it arrived at the table I was not impressed for the money spent. I see this place as nothing more then an overpriced tourist trap.

We attended “The Office” trivia night on Tuesday July 23. The wait staff was overworked as expected as the crowd was full and the questions were fun. We were able to get drinks at the bar after waiting over 45 mins for our wait staff at one point.The disappointment really came when we asked for a check and were told we were being given a wrong tab after the waitress accidentally paid our tab with another card. They assured us this was only a 40cents difference (total tab was $371.00, so unlikely another was really within 40cents).I’ve learned to be passive so I just paid it but will tell everyone I can to avoid this place.Sad as the talent lineup and events seems pretty good.
The most expensive drinks in Destin!Plastic cup,lots of ice and club soda with very little tequila. The shot of the same tequila was $10,and iced smelled like tequila, was $15.Unrecognized margaritas. The Mojito was too icy and also $15.50.We stayed at Hilton, they drinks not as much expensive.We felt robbed. I thing the managment has to be more attentive and see what is going on with that bar tender.

We went 2 different days this week (mid October). Late lunch and dinner. Both times food was excellent! Chicken and waffles, Mahi Mahi sandwich, BBQ ribs, and smoked beef brisket all on point! Delicious gouda cheese grits! Not crazy about the cinnamon sugar sprinkled on the sweet potato fries (next time I will just order them without that but didnt realize ahead of time that it came that way). The fries themselves were good though! There was no live music when we went but it was really nice sitting outside anyway. Lots of people watching football on the big screens. The speakers were a little too loud for my preference, and the bar drinks came a little slow. But the overall service was good and staff are super friendly. This is one of my new favourite places when in Destin.

Service was very good and so was the food. Did not care for the loud music even though some of it was oldies. Didnt care for the rap music AT ALL! Obviously a sports bar, so may not go on weekends. Nice change of pace, but will try sitting outside next time.

First time at the new location. I know they just opened but they need to work out a few kinks. Our server was excellent but the wait time to receive our drinks and food was way too long. The food was not good and as I mentioned took way to long to receive because the place was not that busy. More fans are needed outside to ward off the gnats/bugs that are flying around. All in all, good place to sit outside for a cocktail but to eat....not so much. I gave it 2 stars because our server was really nice and friendly. Oh, and only 2 bathroom stalls for the ladies restroom? Really?
Need new managers and bartender! We were there for maybe 15 minutes tonight around 11pm. In that short amount of time, the bartender argued with us about making a drink wrong twice. There was an issue with another patron telling everyone that the manager was on a double and wanted us all to leave and go to the Baytowne location. Then to top it off, the bartender got on the stage microphone and said, You are all rude and need to get the f*@k out. Then the manager called the cops and wanted everyone cited for trespassing! No wonder there are only about 20 people in here on a spring break Friday night! Have never received that kind of treatment anywhere. Need a customer service lesson, and you lost our business for sure!

Service was soo slow and they forgot our order of ribs. Great gluten free options for non-vegetarians. The music was too loud for my dad (70) but my husband and I (30s) loved the 90s trivia and music. My drink a smoked whiskey lemonade was fantastic!
