This community and golf course are Wonderful for those who are looking for an out of the City desert getaway to live or visit. Its far enonogh away from Desert Hot Springs & other communities so its quiet & most importantly very little car traffic!It would be even better if it was a 55 Plus Community but most people are in that age range or above so not many kids around for riffraff.

The course was excellent however u could not buy beer on the course or clubhouse to take on the course

Great golf course for all levels of play. beginner to pro. wide fairways for errand tee shots to one of the best greens in the desert. love holes 10, 11 and 12. nice club house and restaurant. i heard they serve a mean dinner special, that changes themes weekly.

Seems very well-kept. Used the pool and tennis court.

This place so far has been great. It rained the second day I got here and there was tons of lighting strikes and it was pouring but the condo section where Im staying never flooded the draining system here is very good. Also the view of the mountains is unmatched any where around here IMO. The power was knocked out by a lighting strike a one point for only one second. Seriously. It went out for one second. Im on the second level and all around the lights took a good 5-10 min to come back on so Im not sure if this place has back up generators or what but that was extremely helpful since I didnt have to get out the emergency candles. But the grounds are well kept, they have tennis, pools, coin laundry, its always quite and the other residence seem to keep to themselves. Im only renting but I would definitely be inclined to purchase if I was in the position to.

Visited the Country Club portion of Mission Lakes CC for the first time. Ate at the small cafe located by the large community pool. We sat outside overlooking the pool. Of the five outdoor tables only two are covered by the building. The other three tables are open to the sun.We had the Cobb salad. For $8 it was the right size and included all the parts of a Cobb such as fresh blue cheese. It was quite pleasant watching folks doing the pool thing while eating and listening to the light 1970s music.Anyone can dine at the small cafe or the upstairs restaurant or its bar/lounge. Use of the pool is for residents of the surrounding residential community or those staying at the small hotel, which is a companion to the country club and pool.Weve not yet tried the main restaurant, located on the upper floor, or the bar and lounge but will make a point to do so. The restaurant is open from 5pm to 9pm Thursday through Saturday.

Really nice smallish neighborhood. HOA was going higher and higher each year. Great wandering pool two giant Jacuzzis. Restaurant on premises. You pay a $200 + fee for that restaurant whether you go or not. Golfing is highly competitive 18 Holes. Theres a couple of Blasts a day. You better be a food golfer, theres no patience for beginners. I did enjoy it there though.

Nice course when the wind isnt blowing. The fairways and greens are in good shape. The last 4holes will test your skills. Number 12 hole is a neat par 3!

Looked at homes there. Very nice but HOA fees are a bit steep compared to Florida communities.

Good lunch place. The price is right and the food tastes good.

Friday night Prime Rib great! 4 of us 2 had PR rare. I had a Wedge Salad w/Cranberries &Walnut pieces, yummy, and a passable burger with strip of peppers. Good martinis and margaritas.

Nice restaurant & pool area. I did not golf here, but the golfing area was busy.

We really like the course, but the wind makes playing there very difficult. On calm days, the course is really nice.

I love the layout of this place it makes for awesome views. Very peaceful and serene. A great spot to get away and relax.

Beautful place to rebt a vacation rental for a lot less than Palm Springs

Food is usually pretty good. The steak and prime rib cuts are average (I’m not a fan of 1/2 grizzle prime ribs but they taste great). Affordably priced with great views from the dining room. Only issue I’ve had with MLCC restaurant is their wait staff is a bit confused. The staff is courteous and putting in the effort, but management needs to come up with a better solution for the confusion.

HOA there is a joke! Money grubbers in a very bad area ofDesert Hot Springs..terriblecity!

The Beet salad and Coconut Shrimp with coleslaw were amazing. Flavor profile was an truly an experience! Atmosphere enjoyable, service excellent.

Love this place, my cousin Lola Rossi entertained their, she is a singer. Also went their for an Easter, food was excellent. Personal very friendly and very accomodating.

Everything I thought was perfect we had Friday night prime rib dinner and we shared it $6 extra it came with them perfect prime rib she had well I had medium rare, big baked potato excellent, vegetables or cooked just right not soft not too hard and the bonus French onion soup all for like$30:-)

Nice view and good hospitality and service.

We stayed at MLCC for three nights. Our room had two queen beds and was very nice. We had a little area outside with two chairs. All rooms are adjacent to the swimming pool. The grounds are beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

This place is terrible. One star is more than they deserve. The food is terrible. Their employees are rude and its way overpriced. This was one of our favorite places to eat but the new changes the management have made totally ruined it.

Have been invited to play this weekend (5-3-14) with some friends.Have not played there in at least a decade and after this weekend wont return.Why? They dont accept cash and they dont accept Am Ex which is the only credit card I use.Am I still in the United States? They dont want CASH? Obviously this place is not a part of our nation. Wonder if I need a passport?If there was half star in this rating system, Id be reluctant to give them that. They dont deserve a full star just for this one reason. How un-American can you be?
