I recently spent 3 weeks in the Chicago area and played minigolf at 4 different places. I would rank Mountain View Adventure Center at #2 out of 4. The course is very large and beautifully landscaped, with lots of waterfalls and props. There is an overall wild west theme that ties into local history. You will hear and see a lot of freight trains come by, and a lot of airplanes coming in for a landing at OHare, and for some patrons that will be a plus and for others a minus. There arent any windmills or statues of Abraham Lincoln with moving legs, the challenge comes more from the geometry of the green. A very solid choice, even if I think that Novelty Golf in Lincolnwood offers a higher overall value.

My family and I drove 25 minutes to play mini golf at this course. We werent half way through and a storm rolled in so they forced us to stop. I explained we had driven very far and asked for a credit to come back and they refused. Even if we hadnt had a poor experience with the customer service the course was mediocre.

We came here for back-to-school family outing and enjoyed it greatly. The course is fun and and in very good condition, staff was very nice we felt very welcome. Will certainly come back!

Was a good time overall. Nice mini golf for a public park. Well kept, rental equipment is nice. Took extra precautions for COVID. There is also a skatepark here as well. Being a former skater back in the day wed have killed to have parks like this. Nice Woodward ramps and a decent layout. Looked like the biggest ramp was about 6-7 so on the smaller side but good for beginners.

Ive been looking for a place like this for years! Why is there only one outdoor batting cage within 10 miles of Arlington Heights? Ridiculous! Ive brought my kids here to bat two days in a row and brought my bat to hit some balls myself.

Good place for quick mini golf game, a run at batting cages and a nice walk. A good first date place.

Always come here for the batting cages. Mini golf is nice too! And skateboard park for skateboarders. Batting cages are seasonal but usually open til like 10 or 11 during the summer.

I love coming here. Helps me kill an hour when im bored. Batting cages always clean usually never have problems with the pitching machines, easy to find location however im a little irritated as i come here around once every week or two during the summer for the batting cages and literally never wear a helmet but the other day i get told I have to(and if ive been needing to wear one all these previous times your employees aren’t really doing their job) Which is fine rules are rules, but the part that makes me mad is they tell you this after you put your money in the machine for tokens and can’t give you a refund or let you use a helmet due to COVID( which again i get, but also don’t because you aren’t that busy where you can’t let two people an hour that might need to use a helmet and disinfect it) i wasn’t gonna cry about 5 dollars, I’ll just hold on to my tokens for next time but unless i missed it put up a sign saying we can’t lend out stuff instead of trusting the young employees to pay attention to who’s walking up and inform everyone because i will admit i am a young adult myself and probably would do exactly the same thing.

The golf was a good laugh for the whole family.Slightly challenging but not so much of a challenge that the small children were frustrated by it.Good prices too and friendly staff.Sadly the water features were not working.Nice themes and music as well.

We love going to this place. They have a great miniature golf course. The employees are always extremely helpful weather it be for the golf course or the batting cages. It’s nice to still have a place with batting cages. When I was a kid they were everywhere now they are few and far between.

Everyone is always nice. Its a cool place to relax and enjoy yourself. Love the batting cages. Theyre always attentive in case machines need to be readjusted.

Thet charge more iy you not from the area. It has no shade so you are in the sun the whole time. It wasnt enjoyable for the price.

I’ve been golfing at the center several times and the mini golf is very fun and I would definitely go again, however I’ve gone several times two hours before they close and the lady at the front said they are closing. I’ve also gone in the morning and waited for about an hour after there opening time but no one came to open the facility. I would recommend calling before coming to go mini golfing as the times posted on there site are not correct. They should update there hours of operation as I have seen several people come and leave because the center has incorrect hours of operation.

There is one of the best skateparks in Chicagoland.Nice and calm place to spend time

Batting cages operate poorly. Park District runs this. Ive been a patron for over a decade until now. The PD purchased new machines. Unfortunately if the balls dont get stuck, they pitch dangerously and erratically when they do work. Ive tried using them going 0 for 6 on visits for good experience. Ive emailed and spoken to the attendants. If you are going to teach youth, or practice your hitting, this is not the place to do it.

Very fun place. Its so cool looking with all the water features. One problem is lots of duck poop everywhere. Besides that fun 18 hole course for $8.50, cant go wrong!

I went there for haunted hole-o-ween. The scares were really good. They could of had a few more ppl to scare the golfers but overall it was pretty creepy, between the music, lights and various decorations it was worth the money. They had one tall scare in a scream style shroud with a chrome mask. You would think that guy has acting experience bc he got me several times. Even on the way out. How the workers that give out the equipment kept a straight face is beyond me, they def got their laugh for the night. I would def do it again. A couple more tweaks and this experience with would a def hit.

The mini-golf is great fun with friends, the prices are cheap. The park itself (not in the mini-golf area) is beautiful and has a nice path that loops around. Its a dog-friendly area too, along with volleyball nets, two skate parks, a playground, and little ponds.

A relaxing, short mini golf game. Perfect for getting some air and wasting a little time with friends.

Its a fun place to go in a group of 4 max in the each game. Therere 18 different layouts for golf. Place is quite and beautiful. It also has some more stuff like biking, batting cage, running tracks, playground, and a soccer field.

Extremely fun! The park is great to golf, get snacks and skate! They just added onto the skatepark and have an area where scooters and BMX stay so they dont get in the skaters way.

This was such a fun place to visit, I love that you can also take family pictures while miniature golfing because the scenery is so nice . Great customer service too, but please be proactive in providing toilet paper.

A very nice mini golf course. Olde Western themed building but the course has no resemblance in theme. The course was recently remodeled and they did a really nice job with it. They also have batting cages next door. MVAC is just south of the Prairie Lakes community center.

Its a wonderful place to take the kids and its reminds me of the old old Rush days I think thats great for the kids to learn some history about America
