We had a wonderful time with our kids (2 to 11 years old), it was nice to get outside and see the dinosaurs! The motion was enough to be interesting but not scare the little ones. Some of the side stuff was closed and the raptor maze needs a bit of reinforcement, but they loved the play area with bouncy house at the end. Worth going and supporting!

Excellent! Such a great family day out. If youre from OKC, like we are, you can easily make it here in a little over two hours. Totally worth it. The dinos are huge and very life-like. The mini golf is super fun and comes with the day pass. Prices are super reasonable for a few hours of fun.

Very cool park. This park has life-size models of dinosaurs (and a few other prehistoric beasts that are not technically dinosaurs) most of which have at least some animatronic and sound. Each dino has a sign with a little info about it, appropriate for kids.

This is a great place for kids 5 to about 11. The staff are amazing and talented. The three young men who did the shows in the amphitheater when we were there on 07/30/20 were amazing. My granddaughters loved them. They took time to visit and make them feel welcome. A great place for kids. The displays are designed for younger kids with good but short information reads.

My best friend and I went here for the first time today and both had a great time. We were really surprised with how detailed things were and had no idea there were so many dinosaurs there or that they moved and made sounds. He loves dinosaurs and was happy as a kid in a candy shop. Needless to say, we both recommend it. They also have other activities like miniature golf and a climbing structure there which are included in the ticket price.

Garion and the entire team were phenomenal. It was a slow day because it was so hot, so we pretty much had the park to ourselves. They still put on every show and did every presentation with the enthusiasm one would expect for a packed house. In fact, they went out of their way to give us extra time and answer all our childrens MANY questions. Every single member of the staff greeted us and took time to speak with the kids, and it made for family memories well always enjoy.Prices were reasonable, and even the snack shop (which I expected to be overpriced based on other parks) was affordable.

The staff was incredibly kind, and they allowed you to sort of guide yourself around at your own pace. The mini golf course was kid friendly, but I thought it was really fun for me as an adult. The walk through the dinosaur park is educational and a little too realistic! A lot of people have complained about the price, but leaving with a smile felt worth every penny. I loved it!

We went to Field Station for the first time today and I thought it was very well done. The park was clean, several misters were spaced throughout the park, the information about each dinosaur was good, and the dinosaurs were all working and very lifelike. This is an interesting addition to Derby, a little strange seeing dinosaurs along Rock Rd. The mini golf course is fun and in good condition, we enjoyed it. The dinosaur attraction is definitely a good one to walk kids through. Theres an activity area available it appears for private parties and an amphitheatre-like open air theater for shows throughout the day. Hopefully the needed maintenance and repairs get made on the animatronics and more interactive attractions get added.

My 5 year old and 2 year old had a blast!!! They enjoyed everything from the life-sized dinos, fun activities, to the shows. Each member of the staff was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and took time to make sure everyone was greeted and was enjoying themselves. My boys loved the shows. Even though there were not many people (extremely hot day) the staff preformed as if they had a full house. My little one was nervous of T the juvenile t-rex but later named his stuffed t-rex T. He even reenacted T knocking over the bananas and eating his meat. Thank you for making memories that will last a lifetime.

This park was very disappointing. The park is very unkept. The dinosaurs are falling apart (including one that was toppled over and lying in a ravine), the raptor maze was a hot mess and closed, the bounce house wasn’t inflated, and the employees in the gift shop were complaining very loudly about a birthday party that was going on. If you have to drive more than twenty minutes to get to this park, don’t.

My favorite thing - you can truly tell that none of the employees take for granted the joy and love young children have for dinosaurs! We were thoroughly impressed with the time, attention, and detail each of the park associates gave our family... thank you!!! This park is Definitely a Must-Visit for anyone with Dino-lovers in their household! It’s conveniently located just south of Wichita, KS - which provides a large variety of hotels and accommodations for anyone traveling in need of an overnight stay. The life-size dinosaurs even have slight movements and sound effects for a more realistic experience! There is a fact-board in front of each dinosaur supported with a wealth of knowledge! My husband and I learned more about dinosaurs this weekend than in any grade school experience! Haha! Kudos to Zach, park Wrangler, who gave special focus and attention to our 4-year old daughter — she was enamored with all the fun-facts he had to share with her!!! Thank you so much for an amazing memory and experience! Highly recommend!

We will be back up when it warms up, my kids were all impressed with the dinosaurs just driving by on the outside, can’t wait to bring them back when they can walk around inside and really see the size of them! Took my 6 yr old grandson and had a great time. He is very into Dinosaurs and can name many of them. We had driven by last year when they were building the park and I promised him we would go. I had heard rumor that it was over priced and not really worth it. I was very pleasantly surprised and thought it was well worth the Day pass price of around $30 for both of us. We were able to carry water and snacks in a back pack in with us and they had great activities. They put on skits which were very entertaining especially for the younger kids. They provided a credentials book and as you participated in activities he received stamps to work towards his Super Paleontologist award (which was a sticker). It also included the mini golf course. There were a couple of things that were extra but my grandson was most interested in the Dinosaur activities not the Ball or Dome climbing activity. I would highly recommend this for those with kids under 10 years old. If they are older than 10 it might be a bit boring for them. Was very please with our day the the Field Station.

We visited here while in town to visit family. I was hesitant to take my older kids (9,11,13,14) because tickets were a little pricey and I really didn’t know how interested that they would be in the dinosaurs. It seemed like it would be directed towards a younger crowd. However, they had fun playing mini golf (which was included) and we all had a GREAT time at the Kansas climb, which was very much for older kids/adults. We picked up a scavenger hunt booklet at the concession stand and the kids/teens enjoyed finding all of the answers. They all even jumped in the bouncy house which had a 6’4” height limit :) Overall, it far exceeded my expectations and was a great place to visit for the day even for older kids!

Appropriate for younger children, but very over priced. Has potential to become a great attraction, but needs a lot of improvements. Would recommend going in the fall when cooler.Called in advance to confirm wheelchair accessibility and was told it was and the paths were all packed gravel and easy to maneuver. The recent rains had created deep ruts and gullies on the paths. Some were very steep. Got the wheelchair stuck multiple times and nearly tipped over several times. My grandson was disappointed the maze was too narrow for his wheelchair. The kids received a stamp passport for shows, games and activities. We were there over 2 hours and only found one place to get a stamp. It was very hot and only found one water fountain. Website said there were misting stations and we only found one small one.Couldnt use the climbing area. The website had information listing minimum heights, but did not state an adult needed to climb with each child 48-63. Also, didnt realize we needed to reserve a time in advance. We were going to play golf, but by the time we were finished, it was too hot and everyone was exhausted and frustrated. Would be nice if the tickets allowed you to come back for golf a different day.Overall, very disappointed.

My wife, boys (2 and 5) and I visited the park for the first time Saturday 08/04 around 6:30pm. We went during the discounted ticket price, so total it was around $40 which wasnt bad. My oldest son loves watching the old Land Before Time movies and was able to recognize a lot of dinosaurs from watching those movies. We didnt buy any of the extra things like mini golf or the workshop activities, we just went to look at the dinosaurs. Everything extra was priced separately and wouldve been very expensive had we have purchased them. The park was smaller than we expected, but in the end that made it a nice, short trip. The gift shop was extremely crowded and cramped, with some people even waiting outside. We would have purchased something in the gift shop, but there was no way to browse the items for sale due to so many people being inside, but we certainly werent going to wait for the crowd to diminish. I know its new, so hopefully the side activities become more enticing rather than just coloring and scavenger hunts. And I hope that they expand the gift shop, because the size was that of a shipping crate. The lady working the cash register in the shop was the same lady taking the Welcome to the Park pictures for people. We had planned on grabbing our picture, but again due to the long line and cramped space, we chose to leave instead.
