TL:DR Rude staff, too many changing arbitrary rules, too much money, not fun for families with kids of various ages. Go to one of the much better water parks in OK.After spending hundreds of dollars on season passes and tickets for friends I must say I will be spending my money elsewhere next summer. Every visit the experience just gets worse and worse. I understand with Covid19 that safety theatre is important, but the rules keep changing and getting more arbitrary after every visit. There are no concessions, but outside food or drink isnt allowed. None of my kids can enjoy the lazy river with me anymore, even with coast guard approved life jackets or a swim test. Two of the best big slides are shut down. Something magical happens at 48 and kids become excellent swimmers so even with a swim test at 47.8 my 9 year old is limited to the kiddie slides and small diving board. No splashing, no jumping, no stepping on the water sprayers ON THE GROUND, no cotton material, no water toys, and so on. My 2 year old, freshly painted with sunscreen and a life jacket goes in the pool and I get scolded because he reaches the water before me as Im taking off my shirt. Every time I come theres a rule change and trying to explain this to children every time we visit is a huge pain. More tears this year than Ive ever had a place thats supposed to be fun for kids. I can spend about the same money at a water park in Oklahoma or any of the other smaller water parks in KS and have a way better experience. If youre a Derby teen then this is a great place Im sure, but no longer would I consider this a family friendly experience. I hate that I feel the need to drive further to have a good time with my family.

We all had a lot of fun. Great slides, lazy river and lots of other things to do. Its a summer tradition for us.

The park itself is nice. The slides are fun, the childrens area is great. However, you Covid has made it where you cant use a chair, you sit in the concrete (I have a bruised tailbone). There are only vending machines and you cant take stuff in. Only two slides open and no tube to float down the lazy river. Ok....i get it, but I still paid $9 to get in. Reduce the cost of you reduce amenities.

We had a great time visting our Son and daughterin law in Kansas they took us to this park. It was great. The lazy river was relaxing. Watching young families with their babies was nice. Plenty of shady areas too. Something fun for people of all ages.

Unless your kids are 48in tall, save your time, money and gas. Go to your local pool or a different water park where your kids will be able to ride the slides or go through the lazy river. Other parks with same things to do are cheaper and your kids will have more fun and will be allowed to do all activities. Be sure to check all rules to the various activities before committing.

Its a great place to go. I prefer swimming pool slides and lazy river.

It would be nice if they figured out a way to use the tubes for the Lazy River. Maybe have some one spray as they come out. It was a lot of fun otherwise

Small, really well-run park. I say small, but there is a LOT to do, the kids loved it!

Went for a school function. Hadnt been in years. We were only in the part with the pool and diving boards. Depends on how much it costs these days to go. Im also not a fan of the heat, so water parks arent my thing.

Wonderful facility and to notch staff. Great for children.

I only went once this year due to covid snd I thought this was their last day of operation sad to see they closed earlier then on their online calendar .

Place is open at least. Cheaper than the new super expensive Splash Park in ICT. Still expensive tho in my opinion. Too many damn rules also. Then, to come back at night u gotta buy more tips! Online ordering was a pain in the rear

While the park itself can be a lot of fun theyre very strict and strange on some rules. You have to sit a special way on the innertube for the lazy river. You cant wear a cotton shirt into the pool, and the cover up shirt they give you, when youre already uncomfortable is neon green. Its very demeaning.While I was there someone broke into my locked Truck. They have no security cameras on the parking lot. When I told them at the front gate they said they only have 3 cameras on the entire park. All facing inside the park.They didnt ask what happened with the break in. The lady mentioned security but they never came out.I dont feel safe coming to the park anymore. Ill go to the YMCA. Props to the Derby police who actually tried to help and spent a good chunk of time trying to get the broken key out of my ignition.

Love this place even with the covid rules

I absolutely love going to this place. The management and staff are always very attentive and helpful! The park is always clean and I feel safe bringing my nieces and nephews to it. Will definitely be back again this summer.

Pretty fun with all of the changes required

My boys(9, 10&14 yrs) enjoy this place. Plenty of lifeguards on duty in all areas at all times. As a parent, I also love how easy it is to keep an eye on the exit to keep me from hovering the boys while they roam free.

Its good for what it is. Pretty small, no wave pool, tiny lazy river. Relatively short lines for the slides, though! For $9 it isnt a bad deal at all

Great place to take your family. Very kid friendly, they have a area just for kids with two big water slides and a small one. Four big water slides for everyone 48 and taller. Cool single prices and also great season passes. Its a cool place to go cool off in the summer days heat. I didnt like the food prices. We got some nachos, which came in a medium size bag, without enough cheese. The chips were really salty, & my babe said the jalapenos tasted cheap, whatever that means. However, our kids loved it and we did too. Also very cool staff. I would recommend taking your family. But pack a lunch and leave it in your car. You can go in and out of the park at your own will, to smoke, eat whatever you like.

Besides the walkways being scorching hot, this place was a blast! (They need to put more little sidewalk sprinklers!) Fun for adults, families, and kids. They had water slides that you can slide down alone, with a buddy, and even on a tube! I personally loved the lazy river, relaxing in my tube, floating under the waterfalls. Only think missing was a cocktail in my hand! Lol. You might want to wear boat shoes. You cant wear a t-shirt in the pool because its cotton, but my husband got away with wearing his ballcap. They were very serious about absolutely NO METAL on the slides. I had to remove my wedding ring. My friend couldnt go because she wasnt going to take out her stud earrings. And the guy next to us had little rivets in the pockets on his swim trunks that the lady pulled out with a pair of pliers?! Concessions were expensive: $1.50 for candy, $2.00 for pop, even more for hot dogs, nachos, or pizza. Overall I had a great time there!

It was quite juicy, although a man dressed in a pizza hut uniform attempted to force a moist subway footlong into my ear. I soon realized it was a meatball sub and politely declined.

The lifeguards at RRR do an outstanding job. It would be difficult to monitor everyone when it is busy. They are fairly strict with their rules but I would rather see them enforcing rules to ensure safety as opposed to jeopardizing the children that are there to have fun.

Great place for families and wanted to give them 5 stars but only 4 because we were not told when we got in that they will close the best part of the pools due to swim meet. I feel they should had told us. We went and got comfortable in our favorite and shaded side and then told us to move somewhere else. We had our youngest grandchild and end up in a sunny area without a shade so we were pretty upset. Ended up leaving earlier than we usually leave. They could at least give us a discount or let us know before we paid full price and not able to use our favorite side our kids enjoy so much.

I love this place always been super fun, and not to costly, I read alot of the other reviews on here and thats what prompted me to post this review, Im a mother of 3 young kids, and I have noticed many post saying the rules are to many, too much, or to strict.. so heres the thing ppl, its to make sure you are taking responsibility for your own family, its for your own safety and the safety of others, you shouldnt let your 2 yr old run around unattended anyways so I am going to do the opposite and applaud the fact they have many rules, they actually are to keep you safe..

Affordable and different swimming op for family with growing kids...Nice way to mix up the kids summer stops affordably. If you have a big brood of different ages, plan to bring another adult. Kids from age 3+ can use facility but with 3+ water slides and inner-tube float stream, better for ages 8+ or bigger group of kids+parents as the kids will want to run all over the place to use this. Hard to keep big group of kids of various ages in one spot... Is big water park for Wichita area...Nice start before trip to Schlitterbaun or bigger water park.

I actually love the ducks, they make everyone laugh and they arent bothering. The person under me just loves to complain. Great place yall.

Very kid friendly!! Loved how they had sprinklers along the sidewalks. All the lifeguards were polite and nice.

Appreciate tot time on saturday mornings. Plenty of space. Could use another slide for little ones, maybe one with better water flow.

Perfect for all ages. Shallow and deep parts of the pool. 2 year olds can safely stand up and participate in activities aimed towards them while older kids may have more fun on the waterslides. Safety vests provided.

Dont like that they pick and choose the height requirement.We had a birthday party and kids of all ages. One little girl was measured at the gate & given a wristband (showing she was 48 tall). Four hours later the same girl who measured the first time said that she was too short. They wouldnt allow her on the slides that she had been going down prior.Better training for those people may be a good place to start!!!!!

Weve gone many times and enjoyed it every time! Only complaint might be not enough shaded areas and the fact that if ur farther away from the water that cement is smokin HOT!!! Causing you to want to wear your flip flops to the water! Otherwise it was fun for all ages!

Well it is a Waterpark of sorts . Its not the biggest but has some decent attractions which make it much better than a standard pool. Concessions are expensive and you cant take outside food/drink in. Additionally, plan on bringing a lock or pay them $6 bucks for one which is pretty rediculous for a cheap padlock. Overall, for 7 of us to get in, buy a lock and buy concessions.... We spent over $100 dollars. While that isnt terrible for a water park, I can hit the local pool for a lot cheaper.

For 9 dollars a person, 7 for kids, and 8 for seniors, it is the best place for fun! Had an amazing time with a great staff who did their jobs well. Excellent cleaning procedures and well rounded guards who arent afraid to say something if youre doing something wrong.

We try to come to RRR every summer. You definitely get your moneys worth with all the different activities. I like to relax on the lazy river and my kids love the diving boards and slides.

Plenty of sitting areas surrounding the wading area. Clean bathrooms. Cool water temperature for a very hot day!!!

The place may be big but has a lot of fun stuff to do. Theres water slides and a lazy river. I recommened the lazy river.

Tot time is a brilliant way to show first timers the fun they can have with outside water. My son(16 months) had a spectacular time! I couldnt be more pleased with the staff, cleanliness and just over all experience.

We arrived at 5pm . The food , chips snack wrappers and etc all around the sitting areas were a MESS! Especially by the kids area ! Thats the only thing I can see that would need a improved..to clean up throughout the day !

To many rules and the rules are not consistent between the life guards. First I had to turn my ring around, then (on the same slide) I had to wear a glove. Then about 2 hours later I wanted to go on another tube slide and my husband throw my glove away thinking it was trash. When I asked for another one they told me they no longer give out gloves and I could not turn my ring around. I would have to put my wedding ring in a bucket that anyone could take it out of. Also, I dont know if it is a Kansas thing or what but any big water park I have ever visited you could swim and relax in the lazy river with or without a tube. It is mandatory to have a tube here for some reason. Also most of the stuff only older kids can do

Pricing was reasonable . The Park was fun, my 3 yo had a blast! Plenty of life guards . Easily spent 3 hours at the park. Although Front desk Staff was very RUDE . I attended a birthday party , and was given passes, and was still charged admittance ! At first they would not refund me the money and were very rude about it . Finally the person throwing the party talked to management and I was given a refund , and they were rude about that too! My suggestions would be to have staff that smiles, and to have manners . Staff made the experience terrible .

This a great place to take your family. Staff is always helpful. You can not bring food it, but they do have a snack bar. About 5 slides and a lazy river. I wish there was a bigger slide. Gets the job done for derby.

4 large slides, 2 little slides, a large and small diving board. A big play area specifically for kids, a deep pool for the older and better swimmers, as well as a lazy river. Theres something for nearly every swimmer here, even a lap pool.

We read the rules before coming here today. I guess knowing what was expected of us & insuring that we all followed the rules helped us have a fantastic day. Not a single complaint was heard out of my group. Every single employee that we talked to or interacted with was polite & helpful. We are already planning our next trip back!

The park is a nice place to spend a few hours and the kids pool is great. Nice and shallow and there is plenty of staff around. It is a little expensive but they do the five dollar after five PM deal which is nice.

Very affordable and fun! Make sure you do not wear shorts with rivets. I think its a little much to make people wear gloves or take off thier wedding bands though, but maybe all the married people are responsible for damaging water slides .

Considering the price, this park is really quite reasonable! It has a lot of accommodations and attractions for kids, parents, and even young adults! The lazy river is very relaxing and the slides can be a lot of fun. The only annoying part is how far away it is from Wichita but its definitely doable.

Water was not very clean and people were swimming in regular shorts and tee shirts when it is posted no cotton material in the pool. The water was not clear at all.

This place is pretty awesome although the food is a but over priced and a little lower in quality. Lots of things to do with the family. Plenty of lifeguards and they all seem to be well trained in crowd control and prevention. If the food was either cheaper or better quality I would rate 5*.
