Such a neat little park I discovered! Idk if its often busy around sunset but tonight it was awesome to see several groups (social distancing I love it!) all set up on the grass to watch the sunset over the mountains in the distance :)

We moved to this neighborhood almost 2 years ago and this has become my favorite park in Denver. Great views, not too crowded, bathrooms at nearby Harvard Gulch Rec Center - great place for a walk!

It is a nice area to take your dogs, or play frisbee. Also great in winter because it has a good sledding hill.

History of Kunming China: this was the city where the Ameircan Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers) was based during WWII. Lots of aviation movies and video games were influenced by the pilots of flying tigers.

Beautiful park has so much to offer the dog walkers are very considerate and clean up after their dogs. They have so much to offer for the adults. The sight is beautiful when it snows.

This park is terrible. It does NOT have great views of the city. It is NOT quiet and relaxing. It is NOT a great place to take your dog and enjoy a sunny day. You should probably just avoid it as much as possible.

Has green grass, a water fountain, a couple benches, a little shade, two rocks with a story behind it, & great veiws of fresh powder up on the peaks.

Very peaceful and quiet. We stopped to eat there, but there are no picnic areas. Instead we sat on the brick walls that were sorrounding a small concrete walkway.

This park is great! There was some ridiculous woman hiding in the trees from someone or something. Pretty sure she stole some drugs from her dealer and was on the run. It provided me with great entertainment while I walked the dog.

One of the best spots for a sunset picnic. Celebrating our sister sixty in China.

Great park. Well used by the community year round. Theres a gently sloped hill great for kids and sledding during snow. Want to yoga or Tai chi in the park? You can do it here. Working water fountain in summer months. Benches are available for quiet enjoyment of the park and in such a way you could safely supervise your children without actually needing to helicopter your parenting. Now, if you need your park to offer sports pitches of any kind, enclosed spaces for your dog(s) to run freely, kids playground or swing spaces, community flower or garden spaces, or restroom amenities, this isnt your park. It is missing all of these things. But theres a public garden around the corner but not the other things. Its a good park that meets most community park needs without needing to drive to a park.

Beautiful view of the Mountains and a really cool neighborhood. I would have liked to see the signage and monuments for Kunming to be better taken care of. The signage was informative but hard to read. I liked the monuments for the stone forest. Maybe including monuments for flowers represent in the spring city would be cool

Cool lil park on a hill with a nice stone terrace thing that kind of reminds me of a stage for music or something. The big boulders came from Kunming, China. Its like a sister city park or something, I think there are a few of these parks around Denver.

This is another of Denvers beautiful sister city parks. Commemorating Denvers relationship with Kunming China. Lacking is a picnic table or a bathroom. But views and wonderful location cant be beat

Awesome views of the Front Range. Quiet and set up on a hill. Plus, Kunming is an awesome city in China. Didnt know we had a partnership with them through Sister Cities.

Amazing view! This park is tiny--basically a single city block with grass and trees, thats too steep a hill to be built up with housing. No real services (drinking fountain, a few benches, historical info), but the view of the west side of the city at sunset is stunning. Go there at dusk to watch the bats come out!
