Great course, right near the city. Not too challenging for newer players for, and is plenty spread out given its proximity to downtown Denver. There were some nice long holes to really practice your drive on.

Also the rental clubs are M4 which was a nice suprise. Thanks to all the Park Hill staff for making my trip to denver a memorable one. Ill will be back for sure.

Denver needs a Park Hill Open Space / Park for its residents. More green space is needed in our city for all residents :)

We, a group of eleven older women, descended upon the restaurant for lunch today. The gentleman who served us could not have been nicer or more accommodating. He was working alone and they have a pretty extensive menu, so it took a little while for everyone to get lunch, but well worth the wait. The food was delicious. Our server was running his legs off to accommodate everyone, and was so pleasant while doing it. I would definitely recommend this golf club restaurant for a pleasant lunch experience.

The city has infringed on this golf course to help with flood mitigation, and the gold course is closed for the season. This entire for mitigation project had become a headache for commuters and now in our recreation. The city needed to get community input before taking away this golf course. I guess now were forced to go to City Park and get treated like dirt by the staff there. To courses down in less than 2 years. I guess overland will get closed next.

While I love how close it is to where I live. I am shocked at high the prices are for such a poorly maintained golf course. Many ripped up and dried out areas, the front nine greens are in pretty bad shape. The back nine is much better. To pay $60 for a course and have it in that bad of shape is pretty ridiculous. I would expect more from this course based on the fees they charge. Also, their beverage and food service on the course if pretty non existent. Cart person came by once and was out of everything except granola bars and peanuts. They still do not have enough cold water coolers on the course for a hot day. Overall experience was pretty poor. The only thing that made it fun was the company and I shot well.

Really good golf course and Club for the money. Its well-run and the bar and restaurant have decent food if you just want to grab a quick bite for a round of golf. The Golf course it plays a little short but is fun and affordable so you can play it a lot

This is a solid, historic, park style golf course that had become very popular for good reason for urban golfers. The margins border a couple busy streets, so you can see it often driving by and perhaps fear a stray shot interrupting traffic flow, but fear not, aim away from the traffic on a few holes and youll be fine. The layout is fairly straightforward. The greens are fairly quick. The pace of play is decent. Enjoy this city course!

Nice course, its pretty wide open, so if you hit an errant shot you should be able to hit it from the other fairway. Theyve got a really nice driving range with a ton of space. I also like that you dont have to go to the clubhouse to get balls, you can pay right at the station. Greens are a little rough, they definitely need a little help with some water.

I was prepared to give this place at least 3 stars but after dealing with Stephanie, the event coordinator, I will never book another event with Park Hill Golf Club. Stephanie was unprofessional, dismissive, combative and down right rude! Furthermore, it is my opinion that an event hall should have their carpets steamed cleaned. The carpeting in the room where our event was held was visibly stained and worn; did not realize it until the day of the event. As for the food, Ive had better- yes you have a lot of options to choose from, but I know what great quality food tastes like, and theirs is not in the running by far. The most enjoyable thing was the scenery overlooking the golf course. Other than that, I was not pleased at all and will NOT be back!

Took 5 1/2 hours to play 18. The ranger that came around a couple times was rude for no apparent reason. Overall, the course was flat, boring, and poorly maintained. My only time playing there, and definitely my last. Only positive (and reason the review was not 1 star) is that my friend had a great experience with the guy who booked the tee time. Didn’t catch his name, but he was pleasant and flexible when we needed to move our tee time.

I love this place. Its a perfect practice or beginner course. Dont go into expecting something fancy because its not. Its cheap, fairly well maintained, and a big confidence booster, I can break 90 here. Only down side is it can get packed on the weekends and a train horn on the front 9. Also you occasionally have to deal with knuckle heads who want to fight on the golf course for no reason, a bum walking in front of your shot on the fairway and kids who havent learned the phrase rate of play, who are more interested in running through sprinklers in the fairway than playing golf. Seriously, all these things happened in one day. But its all part of the charm. :)

In one of my most recent rounds at this course, the course had just fertilized . The fertilizer was not applied at an appropriate time and everything was sticky with blue fertilizer, the golf balls, the club heads, golf shoes, and my hands were coated with it. It was quite bad and very discomforting. They did not plan this very well and did not do anything to accommodate the golfers.

Please put a net up on Colorado. I was hit today driving southbound. Which means he shanked it about 75 yards. Do you have any idea how dangerous you are making it by no installing a simple fence to protect drivers from your terrible members who cant hit the ball straight??? Im sure youve gotten this complaint a million times. Now Im going to Google to see what actions I can take.

Also they don’t sell busch light here so with everything considered, I won’t be coming back. PS the tuna salad sandwich was a 3/10.

Jo

Played it a few times, and the course is in just as good shape as the other Denver public courses, but one thing I will say about Park Hill is that they have the best public practice facility around Downtown/Cap Hill area. City park has that weak driving range where you cant use drivers and its on mats. But Park Hill has a large putting green and a few chipping areas, plus real grass on the range.

While planning my wedding I was in contact with the Park Hill Golf Course. I had sent regular emails and called on a continuous basis. Hailee Walker told me on April 8th that my date and time were available to host my reception dinner. She also informed me that it was her last day and that I would need to be in contact with Matt Stephens or Eric Zarlengo. It was really difficult to get in touch with these individuals but after about a couple of weeks Matt emailed me and I made arrangements to visit the site as well as taste the menu I was interested in having for my dinner.I went in on April 23 with a coworker and my daughter to have lunch and then speak with Matt regarding the details for the reception and pay the deposit. No one was there to greet me when I got to the golf course. While I was eating my lunch two ladies approached my table and asked if I was there to talk about a reception for Saturday, September 5th. They proceeded to inform me that the date was not available and asked if I were interested in another date. No, I was not interested in another date. How was someone able to book this date when I had just called on April 8th to confirm this date? The two ladies never introduced their selves nor did the offer an apology or even try to accommodate me for the inconvenience. They simply said someone had booked this date on April 1st. How is that possibly when I contacted you on April 8th?I was visibly upset and left. I would NOT recommend the Park Hill Golf Course to anyone for any event. I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated there was no accountability for the mistake they had made.
