Really great venue for the Silver State swim tournament. Great pool and really nice facility on a beautiful campus. Not bad concession food.

The Ritchie Center has some incredible looking meeting spaces!

This place opens maximum of 1 short lane from 5 pm to 7 pm on weekdays. The other lanes are rented to a swimming school to make money.The basketball court schedule is never correct. Any of the training team can come and kick you out of the court even the schedule says its open hours.They want you to follow the schedule for everything, but no themselves. Paid members right is never in their consideration.

Attended a gymnastics birthday party for a 3 year old. Its a party machine! Efficient, systematic, hands-off for parents and not very personalized for the bday kid (which is not a big deal when youre 3)!

Turned away at the door on my 2nd visit because staff couldnt find me in the system. Pretty irritating. Every visit since has been pleasant, though.

Nice place for what it is used for only visited the auditorium for a graduation. Nothing really stood out as exceptional. Most staff seemed oblivious to everyone. I had to ask 3 times about where the nearest bathroom was before I was acknowledged. Other then that very forgetful

I like it here. Denver University is tremendous. And, tremendously competitive. Academically or athletically, this is the school to graduate from in the metro area.Although, Regis is an incredible place to become a Physical Therapist too!Cheers!Hart

This is an amazing complex. Ice rink, incredible swimming pool, huge arena, and smaller arena. All top of the line equipment and tech. Very well designed and easy to get around.

Best place for a hockey game

Saw Depeche mode here and fell in love with the place. It never hurts to come watch DU whoop up on every hockey team in college sports.

Went there for a large high school graduation. The place was full to the top. Always get there early for a graduation if you want good seats. Traffic is tough during graduation week so allow extra time to park.

This is an outstanding venue for high school graduations. This is the second graduation I have had the privilege to attend at this location. I have also watched DU sports here on several occasions.

Very fun event with games and music!

Heritage helping people get to the correct parking lot was a life saving advantage and help inside giving directions was so thoughtful. The airconditioning was refreshing too.

Concessions are pretty pricey, but the place is kept very clean, and they even try to help the planet by recycling all bathroom paper towels. Beautiful graduation on 5/24

Hockey game, good food, not a bad seat

Beautiful venue! Attended my granddaughters HS graduation here. Very clean and easy handicapped entry...however, parking is an abomination! Lots are very far away and the streets around are quite congested!

Graduations are held there is a good size venue for that, staff always direct you to the most remote parking, but rather park on the street and walk not tone waiting forever to get out.

Up until this weekend, we had only been here for graduation ceremonies. Last night was the first sporting event we have ever attended. Had an awesome experience watching some Pioneer basketball. Hoping to go back soon!

Great parking for the handicapped & nice ushers. The food court was reasonable & the food taste ok. However they need more ushers when exiting the 5 floors bc the people will run u over trying to leave only to stay outside taking pics

Great place to swim with the Olympic sized pool. Clean locker rooms and can get in with a day pass or membership. Lap lanes are o my open certain hours so check that out. Gym is also nice with good cardio and free weights.

I am in my second season in adult league hockey at DU since I moved here. The leagues are fun and competitive. Love playing here

Was there for a graduation. Seating/ seats are terrible and uncomfortable. There was security at the door but once we were seated there was no one to go to with complaints of other unruly attendants (people loudly cursing with multiple children including an infant well within earshot). Seating area was really warm with no noticeable ventilation. I hope I never have to go there again unless its updated and has better security.

Great hockey venue! Great views from wherever you sit, as well as plenty of food options. My only advice would be to try and get food/ use the bathroom during actually hockey play it gets very busy during intermissions.

I went for a graduation. mediorch p.a. system parking 10.00 walk a long way from parking area and a lot of traffic I mean speeding. 35 0r 40 posted and you know there doing50 or better right at the front doors to the center hundreds of people crossing street but at the end they (police) were all over the place . terrible job of security.

Community based programs for small kids (i.e. kid’s gymnastics, swimming) willingly screw you as parking is absolutely non-existent. Pay through the nose for the programs but you get no access to parking. Plan to walk 5-10min with small kids from adjacent neighborhoods as possibly across busy University, Evans, or Buchtel avenues. Absolute joke. Irate.

The Ritchie Center is a great facility. It is a pretty large recreation facility considering the small size of the school overall. I love going here to workout in the gym before class and swim laps in the winter time. It is extremely convenient to be a member, especially in the winter time.

Love this place easy to get in and out of for activities and graduation.

The Ritchie Center is an excellent facility that truly offers all you would need. Ive attended a variety of events and used quite a few of the facilities, Ive never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand as well. All of the above have contributed to many quality experiences at the Ritchie Center.

Average place bathrooms were pretty clean. Food was average from consesions.

The concessions stand is pretty bad, I would try to find ways to avoid eating from it. You usually have to walk a distance to get to it, though there is a small nearby parking garage. The facility itself is very large. There are also places to drop people off and pick people up relatively easily. They may check your bags at the door for food, so sneak food in carefully.

The gym is nice but the monthly price+initiation fee for non-students is just plain greed. There arent great alternatives in the immediate area also.

DU does a great job hosting the robotics competition. They just need to allow the teams to enter with water and snacks for the participants, instead of overly gouging us on water and snacks, $4.75 for a bottle of Pepsi? I didnt even check lunch items, took my team out to eat instead.

The Ritchie Center really is the one stop facility for all your sports and recreation needs! Fantastic venues for all Division I athletic events and plays host to youth sports in the community and recreation and fitness for its students.

Went to Thunder Ridge graduation for my niece. It was warm in there I think theyre used to having ice in there to help with the ventilation but there was no ice so it did get a little warm and the seats were just a little narrow

The University of Denver is a great higher education institution. Many clubs and orgs to be a part of. So much to offer- great buildings and awesome rec center. Best 4 years of my life
