I brought my husband and two young sons to Relic Fine Art for a photo session. It was so fun to watch Patrick create these amazing tintypes. Posing with young kids was easy since he uses a flash--no need for crazy boys to hold poses for long periods of time. My oldest was also interested in the process. We love the final results too. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great time getting out family portrait taken with Patrick at Relic, both with the final product as well as learning about the whole tintype process (so cool!!). He was very warm and accommodating and had great ideas for poses! Great to be in the hands of a professional. Thank you!

Patrick and his wife were amazing throughout the whole process. From the minute we decided to book, to the day we scheduled the shoot, they were a joy to work with. The studio is great, and we even got to go behind the scenes and watch the development process (super cool!). The folks at Relic were knowledgeable, fun, kind, communicative and inviting. We love the way the print turned out and will definitely go back should the occasion ever arise. Its great to keep the art alive in todays modern world and watch old world tech merge with the new. Its such a neat heirloom!

Patrick created an absolutely stunning tintype portrait of my daughter. I have also taken his tintype workshop. He is a natural teacher, and the class was easy and fun. My 14-year-old daughter also took the workshop, and was so excited to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity. I hope he continues to offer workshops, because he has a wealth of knowledge to offer. I highly recommend him for both portraits and workshops.

We are THRILLED with the tin type of our daughters. It was a Fathers Day hit! Patrick and his partner were very gentle and patient with our kids (especially our youngest). He also accommodated our turnaround, as it was going to be a gift. Ive already told a few friends about RELIC. I bet well also return in years to come!

Great experience and amazing looking photos! Fascinating to watch the whole process from sitting for the photo to watching the image magically appear in the developer bath. Highly recommend to people who appreciate the artistic process. Fine art indeed, and a chance to have museum quality photographs or rather tin types of yourself to own and keep forever. Very non threatening abd enjoyable experience, very fun. Thanks Relic.Rob M

Partick was wonderful to work with. The session was easy and it was so much fun to be able to see the images develop in real time! In our digital age, it is so important to slow down and enjoy the process. Id recommend RELIC to anyone wanting a unique portrait, done by an exceptional photographer!

My Fiance and I had engagement photos done. We drove all the way from Albuquerque and it was well worth it. Not only were the photos super cool but the whole process was really fun! Patrick and Salimah were awesome and so easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

After contacting several wet plate photographers in Denver, I ultimately chose Relic based on reviews and initial contact with Salimah; and I was not disappointed. Both Patrick and Salimah were warm and welcoming. My boyfriend, who is quite uncomfortable having his picture taken, was put at ease by Patricks calm and happy personality. We also enjoyed overseeing the development process. Patrick invited us into his darkroom where we viewed our images come to life. He patiently answered all our questions and provided us with plenty of information on vintage photography processes. In the end, we not only had three gorgeous tintype portraits but a unique and wonderful experience as well. I highly recommend Relic Photography Studio. You wont be disappointed.
