This is a sprawling park that features great open spaces. The playground is decently sized with separate playgrounds for big and little kiddos. The small walking trail wraps around a cute lilly pad pond. It is connected to sports fields so there are lots of options for team activities. There were even people flying drones in the fields and people doing yoga under the trees. Great place for anyone to bring their hobby or enjoy the afternoon with their kids.

Very nice place. The kids really enjoy it. Two suggestions; 1. Put up a sign for no glass in the playground. Saw a person drop a bottle and was very difficult to clean up and many children were barefoot. 2. Put up a 2nd basketball post/goal. Very nice large basketball court, but only one basket, so limiting for amount of people that are able to play

This is a really nice park. The play equipment is top notch! My boys really enjoy all the variety of equipment from a merry go round, to several slides, swings, zip line and even a toddler area/structure. When we are done at the park we head out and walk around the lake and check out the ducks and dragon flies.

Nice park. Lots of benches, some in shade. Restrooms are open. Big playground. Lots of shaded tables at each end. Nature trail behind tennis court.

The walking trails were nicely maintained so they werent too muddy to walk on despite all the recent rain.The playground is quite large and my daughter enjoyed it. It has a section for smaller kids which was great.

A lovely park to go for a run, jog and even to walk your dog. They are very family friendly where they have a playground for kids to play on. They have onsite doggie bags incase you forget to bring your own. It is very clean and nice escape from sitting in front of a computer all day during these times.

This is a great little park. Nice size with plenty of open space, shaded places, trails to walk, a playground. The paved trail is in great shape for roller activities and biking. The bridges are a little bit rough on skates, but not terrible.

Really cool park with so many activities for kids to enjoy! Very big space, able to still social distance will enjoying ourselves!

Lots of different trails. Nature and concrete. Tennis courts, basketball, fishing. Walk around 2 different ponds. Enjoyed very much.

Always a fun time for kids, handicap accessible and plenty of places for adults to sit in the shade to watch the kids play!

My son loves it. But right now is no the time because its a lot of people there and a lot of people dont wear the mask.

Wonderful park!!! Amazing park all around thats perfect for families big and small and a great place for bringing pets as well. Park grounds are always clean and kept in wonderful shape. Great/huge play area for kids of all ages. Perfect walking path that goes all around the park. Park is full of beautiful plants and trees of all types as well as a great art installation that is just perfect for kicking back and taking in its beauty or capturing pictures of all the passers by. Always enjoy visiting this park.

This is a great park! My kids can play on the playground for hours and my husband and I really enjoy walking the trail. Mommy warning, it’s a huge playground and it’s easy to lose sight of your little one so I suggest bring a second adult if your kids are very little like mine and you have more than one.

Great park with two ponds and a concrete path around the ponds. The path is lined with trees which are young but they will grow. The path around both ponds is about 1.4 miles and you can run a loop around the smaller pond for about half that distance. There is also a gravel nature path that is half a mile in length and suitable for jogging. The entire nature trail is one mile in length and I am adding a photo of the nature trail as well. There is also a playground for the kids with plenty to do.

Huge fan of this particular park. From the running trail, to the scenery, it’s the absolute best around the Denton area.

This park truly is one of the nicest places to visit. Whether its a walk, a jog, enjoying the shades from the trees, fishing, biking... The park offers just about everything.It really is beautiful and peaceful here. I am so glad I came here!

Ive never been to a park that had a zip line....seriously a zipline, and I know that sounds insane because who the hell lets small kids play on a zipline. That being said this works really well and the kids seem to respect the space. The rest of the park is a large castle structure with a few different slides. Lots of swings and the best part a fence that keeps the kids in.

It is a great place for people who like to walk, jog or bike, simple trails surrounded by trees and lakes. A very good place for kids as well. Easy to reach and ample parking space.

Nice being coming for years big ,play area,picnic area,bbq pits shaded areas and my favorite a walking/running/biking trail.

Had a great time out on the pond catching channel catfish. You can keep these guys 5 is the limit but decided to throw them back. Great fun great experience thanks Denton for giving us a great location thats stocked with great catches.

Really great park very pretty

I love the paved way! It has measure markers to indicate every 1/8th of a mile. Theres also a nature trail you can follow behind the tennis courts. Perfect for a hiking feel without the drive.

This park is amazing! A great play area for kids of all ages (Eureka 2), nature trails, and a lake! Its beautiful! Sadly, were moving so wont be going back. We will miss it a lot.

Tons of paved trails for running, riding, or walking. great playground and wide open space!

This park is amazing. So much to do. The zip lines are awesome, a shady central area for parents to sit. Lots of cool looking equipment for the kids to play on. Also a basketball court. Its sort of fenced so kids cant wander out of the play area. My kids loved it.

Always a good time here.

A calm and serene place for a late night walk. Everything is quiet apart from frequent quacks of ducks in water and chirps of birds on trees. While at the pier the warning of snakes almost scared me but fortunately didnt see any.

I really enjoyed the trail around the park for running and biking. There were a lot of people enjoying a beautiful day.

Its a park, there are trees and ponds. But the space is very open which makes it too hot to hike in summer, there is no shade. A few trails go into a more wooded area, but its still not enough room to get a good walk. Pieceful views of the water and ducks though. Good to come with children to go to the Eureka playground I guess. Nice for yoga, jogging and walking on cooler days.

Great place for a walk with the pups. Very clean and well maintained. It can be busy at times, but we usually walk the nature trail loop and there we hardly ever run into other people.

My 17 months baby loves it here. And there are a lot more interesting staff for the older kids

I run/ walk here everyday and I love it. Sad to see so many people not care about our environment or community with how much litter people drop here.

I joined a group of 9 sand volleyball players to make their game a 5 v 5, and I had a great time! The restroom was fine, and the upper water fountain on the tree-lined pathway near the playground was in excellent condition.I walked a bit on the outer path where every eighth of a mile was marked, which made it easy to measure my progress. In the linking path that runs between the two ponds and outside edges of the walk/bike path, I saw a bunch of little catfish in the stream. The middle section puts one closer to nature since its not as open.The playground looked fine from the outside, and I noticed the tennis courts and basketball court too. I shall return. I would recommend this park for exercise!

This park has the best play structure thats actually suitable for all ages. Also, there are ponds for fishing and walking trails with some scenery.

Beautiful and nice equipment. Nothing broken to where you cant use it . The paths are great. Sand volleyball court is nice as well. A good community of patrons.

Love my neighborhood park. Great running/walking/biking path, two storm runoff ponds for fishing and bird watching and covered picnic pavilions. The best thing about this park is that the whole community gathers here - lots of different languages, food and celebrations here.

Decent park but nothing special. We recently had to go for a high school cross country meet - and It was lacking parking. We had to park at a church down the road and walk on the side of the road while it was super busy! Not the parks fault, but maybe not a location for a big event like that if parking is but adequate.

Great park for walking, fishing and playing ball. There is also a large playground away from the 2 nice lakes (large ponds) with ducks, heron and pelicans. There is also a fishing peir.

Nice park, but bring your walking shoes because the lap around the lake is long!

I was really scared that Eureka 2 was going to be a disaster.... but they actually did really well! I grew up with Eureka and Im glad that they tried to keep with the same feel but were also able to modernize it some. The zip line was way cool.

I love the park, especially the trails. For the most part the area is kept clean, but unfortunately some humans like to liter while they are on the trails.

Great park for my kids to roam and play. ADA accessibility is a plus. The Tennis court, b-ball court and soccer fields are not too busy when we visit this park. Trails and ponds are perfect for enjoying nature. Overall a nice park for family gatherings.

Great place to come as a family! Well maintained. Theres a large playground for the kids as well as a pond for fishing. The pond is stocked and we always catch something when were there. Theres a walking path around the pond/park as well.

Fantastic adaptable park. The city park service has really stepped up their game; the park has never been more maintained and clean. There are many features available at this park including fishing, walking, flying a kite, etc.. This is one of the better parks in Denton in my opinion. Please visit and attempt to leave with one article of litter.

I’ve been running in this park for years now!!! This is my favorite park here in Denton, TX. The restroom is always clean. Park is safe and always fun to run! Would definitely recommend!

Nice, convenient area. Tennis courts usually free, but its rare to get a spot on the basketball court. Great, scenic track if you go at the right times. And the trail through the forest is unexpectedly nice

Great park; long trail with 2 ponds and various playgrounds and rest areas. The only improvement would be more consistent lighting when the sun goes down.

Beautiful park

Visited my daughter and her family over Thanksgiving. Spent the afternoon at the park with my 2 young granddaughters. (They didnt stop having fun.)This was one of the BEST playgrounds I have seen in the USA; saw some very close in equipment and safety when we lived in Greece.Obviously, MANY, MANY other families feel similar to me about this one.

Very nice, relaxing place to walk, and the stream allowed our puppy to get a drink when we werent close to a water fountain. The playground is well maintained, and there are tennis courts, a basketball half-court, and several open fields for other sports or picnics.

Fished for the stocked trout but the Pelicans kept eating them all. I wish there was a solution.
