The setting is beautiful! We sat outside the restaurants covered patio for lunch. The turkey melt w/potato wedges were delicious. There was a nice breeze, it was very relaxing watching the boats. It was easy to maintain distancing. The only complaint is that the wait staff were not wearing masks

Actually bought an express Cruiser through a broker Rick Lemon.....he was super....the Service Department has been reslonsive and the people are super friendly. The office manager hooked me up with a boat cleaning lady....what more could you ask? Wel there is more. Had an opportunity to enjoy the point Resuraunt and was delighted at the food and the view is second to none.i highly recommend it.

All in all...AWESOME!! The staff were great, the experience was amazing, and to top it off wasnt as pricey as I thought it would.

This was the worse RV park ever an they say full hookups no they is for the people that live at the park an is only like 4/5. not for others an the electricity is at some sites not all work an not water at all sites an the park is not kept well at all we have a 33 ft an they didnt have anything that could accommodate the size ill never go back an I will let others no we have big family reunions an we all meet up so no business from us we were so up set we turned around an went home we tryed other RV places but was all booked up ....an they lie on the ph so dont believe them

Staff was excellent! From reservation, check-in, boat rental and check out. They were all super friendly and really accommodating to our changes in our trip. Cabin were clean. The only reason I dropped it a star was the restrooms. They are incredibly small, even an average size person had issues using it. So being a tall, heavyset individual, I had better luck using the porter potty. And the community restroom? Was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.

We were there for a wedding. Great outdoor venue for a wedding. Food was fabulous and the staff was great.

Grandpappy point is one of the best marinas on Lake Texoma . Its got great facilities, and is located on a convenient spot on the lake. The staff are friendly, and the marina is clean. They have lots of amenities to take advantage of.

First time to stay here and we were definitely happy. Will return. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.

This was our second time renting a cabin at Grandpappy and it has been a great experience each time! Stayed in Cabin 401 which has been updated and is extremely nice. Large back deck, great gas grill, granite countertops, very clean and nice. Could use more cookware and there were no instructions to access the Wifi, but minor inconveniences. Will definitely rent again!

Rented a Pontoon for half the day. It was extremely clean and sanitized! Grandpappy is the place for sure! More reasonable than all the other Marinas. Still local enough to all campgrounds. Dawson was friendly, pleasant and well mannered. Couldnt ask for anymore from him. Boss...he deserves a raise!! Definitely coming back! Thanks again Dawson ️

The air conditioning in the was not working very good, didnt sleep hardly at all. I couldnt contact anyone so I left early the next morning. Being handicapped and a navy veteran, It was not a very pleasant experience.

Had an 8 hour rental. Our boats engine didn’t even make it halfway through. Was my girlfriends 21st birthday & all they could was give a partial refund. No sympathy or extra effort to make it right. F this place.

Been years since weve been up here. Docks are in okay shape. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were in good order.

My boat has been safe at the marina and the sail club is great but the service department has become very disappointing. I’m am looking at an expensive move of our sailboat to another location. Their are few options for maintenance in such a remote location. Grandpappy’s maintenance department cannot be depended on to service your boat.

5 ️’s my family of 5 stayed two nights in a cabin , it was a clean , comfy, friendly place . Our cabin was located by the park and basketball court . Kids played hard! We rented a boat for a couple hours and just cruised the lake. We will definitely be back thank you so much ! Amazing staff !! -Laci

It was ok but there was a person riding around in a go cart that was slightly rude. We just stopped by to see what the place looked like and possibly spend the next day at and they were telling us we were going to be towed if we didnt immediately pay and get a pass....we passed!

8 hr pontoon rental. I followed the directions on the confirmation email to an address that wasnt the rental area. cost me 45 minutes that came with no sympathy from the boat rental - must be returned at the planned time. i asked at the beginning of the rental to top off the boat the same way theyll be charging me when i return, they said its not possible. boats stereo bluetooth didnt work. boats throttle wouldnt stay in place so needed to be held down to go across the lake, is it broken or is it planned for safety, i dont know. finish it up with no responses from various email addresses i gathered from their confirmation email and follow-up email to ask questions or discuss my rental experience. maybe someone on their end will read this post. my time is valuable, i made the day nice all the same. -hooman

I booked a cabin for one night at the last minute a week ago. Was offered an early check-in right off the bat. When we arrived to check in, the staff were about the friendliest and most accommodating as we’ve ever come across; they even changed our cabin for us on the spot to an even better one because (unbeknownst to us) they’d discovered a loose floorboard in the one we’d rented prior to us arriving and wanted to fix it.The cabin was perfect: Spartan, close to the water, and spotless. Was able to park just feet from it and even the grill was clean.The food and drinks at the Marina were fantastic and the staff was great there as well. We were able to eat an awesome lunch and walk down to the beach to spend the afternoon on the clean beach and swimming in the lake, followed by a walk up back up to the Marina for a few drinks before we went back to our cabin to grill. It was so nice out there we spent the next day on the lake again after checking out. Definitely will be making this a regular thing.

This is the most run down RV park weve ever stayed in, which is sad because the marina area and office staff were pretty nice. The pavement is deteriorating, there are lots of spots that the electric doesnt work or that dont have water connections. Everything is very tight. Only about a dozen spots have sewer, and most of them are taken up by long term people or weekend partiers. We had the misfortune of being next to one of the weekend party RVs. Security was unreachable. We wont be back. Think well go on up to lighthouse marina.

The staff at the service department are always friendly. This place is one of the premier marines on Lake Texoma.

Great location, over supervised, food is pedestrian. It would be wonderful if the main restaurant was open. Ahhhhhh, the 90s.

We had a great stay at one of their cabins over the weekend.We took the kids to see the fireworks at High Point and wanted to stay overnight. Unfortunately our boat died on us. I called them and they not only towed us to their dock, they sent two mechanics out to get us running again. Weekend was saved. Kids loved the fireworks. Will not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

Waited 10-16 minutes and never got any service. We were trying to rent paddle boards. We ended up going the the lighthouse marina.

Very disappointing. My wife and I were shocked at the poor level of organization and lousy management at such a beautiful location. We were told that we could not make reservations, so I called the morning of our arrival to assure that there would be space for us. I was told that there was plenty of room. When we arrived 9 spots were tapped off. Several had signs that read, electric not working. When we spoke to an employee the next morning were were told, well, its not our job to police that area. People can do what they want because we really dont go up there... The campground had not been cleaned or maintained in some time. there were leaves 6 deep in our site and the table was bent so badly that we could not use it. They clearly do not care. We will NOT be back.

We had a few issues, unfortunately. We called and reserved a cabin out of season at least two weeks in advance. We got there after hours and called security for the key like we were supposed to and they dont have our reservation down. Ugh. But the security officer was really nice and helped us out. He got us into a cabin he thought was clean and we could sort out the details the next morning.Right away, there was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. It was everywhere. In the cabin, in the towels, in the blankets, in the pillows, the mattress, and in the couch. It was so late, we didnt have another option. It made our eyes water and turn red.Its a housekeeping cabin. Youre expected to do the dishes, take out the trash, strip the linen, etc. No problem! Only there wasnt any soap to wash dishes, so we didnt use them. We are positive someone used them previously and didnt wash them with the lack of soap. No thanks.Aside from all this, outside the cabin is quiet (save for talkative owls and crows) and calm.

Everything you need, all in one place; Powerboat and Sailboat Slips, Cabins, Campgrounds/RV Park, Service Department, Parts Department, Sales Department, Restaurant/Bar & Grill, Event Center, Wedding Venue, Boat Rentals, Stand-Up Paddle Board Rentals, Fuel Dock, Fishing Guides, everything you can think of! It is a family-friendly Marina. Its right in the middle, they dont treat you like youre in a nursing home, where some of the Marinas are so strict that you cant even drink or Drive Golf Carts around and have quiet times at 9 p.m. and its not a crazy Party Zone like other Marinas that can get too wild and obnoxious, with young college kids, drunk and naked running around. Grandpappy is right in the Mid-Zone, where you can drink, play your music and grill out together but theyre all very respectful of their neighbors and dont let things get too out of hand. If youre looking for a place to moore your boat Grandpappy is it! If youre looking for a fun weekend on the lake with friends and family, Grandpappy is it! If youre looking for a weekend fishing trip with the guys, Grandpappy is it! Great staff and great accommodations all the way around!

Second time for a bachelor/bachelorette party... Second time the Pontoon they have (red& white) has left us stranded in the middle of the lake and we had two very mechanical boat people on the boat with us. Awful equipment, we spent 30 minutes out there. Great service though! The guy working on April 15th, 2017 was very helpful and nice! The mechanic was a great guy too. But all and all, due to the point of being on the lake in a boat you want to keep you having fun, we wont be coming back to this dock...

We were there July 5-9, 2017 with about 35 people in cabins 205, 208, 209, 210, and 400. We also rented an Ebbtide ski boat that was quick and did not break down which is nice. I want to thank all these employees for their excellent attention to my friends and families needs: Jason (GM), Ashli/Andrea/Andrew (scheduling), Patton/Tyler (Gas Dock), and Wes (mechanic). Their team really helped us have a great time when any issue arose. I appreciate their quick action to make sure any question was answered. The cabins were very good and boat was what was needed. We found nice beaches. I would not recommend going clear over to the Islands from Grandpappy just because of the boat travel time. Next time, I will try to get out earlier and go closer to the nearby beaches. If you get lost on the lake, share your location between iPhones. It works very well (God bless Steve Jobs- saved my aXX)!

Love living near Grandpappy Marina. Being able to take our boat out anytime we want without having to put it in and take it back out of the water is so nice.

Weve been frequenting GrandPappys for almost 7 years, loved this place. It was family friendly, great fishing, helpful staff, plenty of room, and neat, well kept grounds. It used to be well worth the buck. But around 2-3 years ago, GPs has been declining fast. The lot spaces are crumbling and returning back to the Earth, tent spots are........well, a place to put your tent. Anchor yourself down though, or the ants, weevils, and stink but will carry you away. No joke. Just dont expect electricity and water, well not from the same lot anyway. The staff went from being personable, to cash mongers. Sure, some are nice if youre in the circle, but I wouldnt expect much. No beach to swim, unless Texoma is down, like it was last year. No playground for kids, so I hope theyre the outdoorsy type, or have plenty of battery life. (but then whats the point of camping?! lol) They have a restaurant, but in 6-7 years Ive seen it open once. Unless you have a boat slipped or dry docked here, I recommend Preston Bend, or Texoma State Park in OK.. And if youre military or a Veteran, the latter gives discounts. Happy Camping!
