The golf course was in very poor condition! The personnel were rude! The starter had an attitude from the beginning of our round. When we got to the 16th hole he told us we had to leave because it was getting dark. They booked a tee time at 2:15 without giving us 4 hours to play the course. Will never go back.

Great place for a wedding. Cocktail hour was a little tight. Well kept grounds and landscaping.

Played here for 1st timeGreat course! Nice to see everything green and well taken care of.Greens were a touch fast that day but rolled well on every putt. Gene the starter was very courteous and helpful. I recommend this course to anyone! Kudos for the staff that was out on course keeping it in such great shape. Best course I have played on in easily 5 years! Was a great experience from beginning to end.

Love playing this course, wish they would improve the following condition. *Condition of the driving range, areas around the greens and the greens.But if youre looking for a challenging round. This is a good one

Tough course but well worth the challenge

Slightly above average public course. Despite some of the reviews below I have nothing to complain about really. Paid $49 for a 1pm tee off, dealt with lots of rain but played through the full 18 holes. Facilities were good with a decent club house/shop, locker-room, driving range, putting green, on course refreshment cart. The people working there were nice and informative, good bar staff. A few of the greens were beat up, but for the most part the course was in decent shape. Good day out and will play there again. No security issues with our bags or cars, the place looked safe to me.

Needs some TLC...but a nice course...and you cant beat the price

We had occasion to visit the Delray Beach Club to attend a wedding. What a beautiful venue for such an occasion and the staff was terrific, very responsive. We recommend this venue highly!

Not allowing carts after 4:45pm that’s pretty ridiculous. It’s the summer time...

Do not leave your golf bag unattended for even a moment! One of our bags was rifled through while we were in pro shop paying greens fees.A valuable was stolen from one of our bags in the few moments we weren’t watching.Never have we ever had such an upsetting experience at a public course.We have since discovered THEFT here is not unusual.

Cool little course, decently friendly staff - you can tell this is one of the older traditional courses in the area which gives you the upside of something thats been around for a while and the downside of dealing with the this is how its always been mentality. The course is friendly to all skill levels, and not many trees in play (however I did lose a ball in a palm tree ha!). The upkeep could use a little refresher, and the price is a little high for the value.

Played the course yesterday. Was in terrible shape from tees to greens. The tee boxes looked they haven’t been mowed in a week - overgrown and patchy. The greens were like putting through fur. Easily the worst greens I’ve played and seen out of all the public courses in the area. Fairways were chewed up on nearly every hole. Overall, I’d give the course a 0 grade if I could. Paid $45 For 18 holes and a cart... not worth even half that. Until they get their act together, I’d choose any other course to play. Not worth your money.

Inconsistent greens. Nice, diverse layout.

We went to the Clubhouse, the first timerecently. There is a bar, golf themed, nottoo busy at lunchtime on a weekday. Themenu is limited, like bar fare, and whatwe are was fair in preparation and taste.I understand that next year the clubhousewill be torn down and replaced. The golfcourse is supposed to be rebuilt too.

We had our wedding at this venue on December 15, 2018 and it was magical. Beth was amazing and made sure we got the best experience. She was the wedding coordinator on our big day and she made sure that everything was organized and well done. She has been doing this for so many years that she knows very well how to handle a great wedding. This venue is so nice (indoor and outdoor event space), affordable, spacious with free parking, and with excellent food! Thank you so much Beth and your amazing team for helping us make our dream wedding come true.

I went there for a wedding ceremony, and the place did a bang up job. The drinks were pouring and the bartenders were great. The servers were topnotch. The food was excellent, (I had the grilled salmon and WOW, it was so good.) Great Job by everyone!!Unfortunately, I didnt play golf there, so I could not tell you about the course.

We celebrated Our Wedding Ceremony and Reception here!. My planner was Beth, and she was like a 2nd Mom to me. Everything down to the food was planned out with her. She was really amazing, I honesty felt like she was family and she was even there when I Walked down the aisle. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end.They have great entrees!. I was told by a lot of my guests that their dishes were delicious. The space for the ceremony can be inside or out, but we chose inside as it’s FL and the weather is so unpredictable. The Cocktail Hour was very nice, and the hors d’oeuvres were very tasty! The Dining room and reception area was beautiful, it’s decorated very elegantly which was a really nice touch for our special day. We fit 95 people with no issues. The bathrooms are very spacious and the room where the bride can get ready is perfect. There’s plenty of places to take pictures both in and outside. Its on a golf course so the outside is very well groomed with some beautiful plants and amazing trees. One of our wedding photos ended up in a magazine!. If I could honestly give this place 10 stars I would, and we plan on having our 10yr anniversary/vow renewal here as well! Ty Beth and the Staff from the bottom of our hearts. Only a few years left!!!

I was hoping it was going to be a good course I live 15 minutes from my place I play Monday January 20 it was bad really bad I love to play golf but I will not go back to many real courses to play , they do not care at all an unfortunately it shows

Course is all ways in good shape, they have junior rates which most dont.

Course is what you expect for the price, no issues there. Driving range is very disappointing. Website says open from dusk until dawn but you have to buy a code for balls in the clubhouse and they close at 6... so not dusk. Balls are old and need to be replaced. Bought a medium (70) and the employee filling up the bucket for me (since they were refilling the machine) only gave me 58. The tees on the mats were all cut short so hitting a normal driver shot is impossible there.

Hands down Beth Mullen is absolutely amazing, she is the best. Ive never met anyone like her. Anything for the Bride. Shell go the extra mile for you. I have been to several events at the Delray Beach Country Club and I am never disappointed the food is excellent, and the staff its always great.

Bit pricey for the kind of course that it is, but I guess I dont know Florida prices. Very well maintained, had a great time.

Attend a birthday party there. Food was great. Service was amazing. Had a great time.I actually planned a school event with Beth on May 5th. She is a wealth of information. She was patient with our changes and her suggestions were spot on. She helped us create a phenomenal Cinco de Mayo menu and theme for our end of year party. The food was devine... hats off to the chef. The staff at the buffet was helpful. Thank you Beth for making the party planners look amazing.

The course isnt 5 stars only because the management has taken the sting out of this classic Donald Ross design by cutting the Bermuda rough way down to almost fairway height. So wayward balls are easily found and theres not much in the way to cause difficulty getting to the green.The greens and fairways are in decent condition. The overall upkeep seems to be about average for a municipal course too which means its not country club conditions but its also half the price. Its a great deal.

The price is fair, the management here is rude, but the food that they served at our wedding event was undercooked. Overall not a pleasant experience.

If youre looking for a championship style country club, this is not for you. If you are in search of a city golf course with a nice layout, decent greens and reasonable prices...you found it.

I love to play here on a classic track design by Donald Ross. There is a good mix of difficult and easy holes. Wit a set of 5 tee boxes players of all skill level can have fun. The staffs are very friendly. The course condition is fair. As it is very popular, it is hard to keep up with the maintenance work.

This club is not what it used to be. Used to play here every week in a work league, and was always impressed by how well maintained it was for the price. Went back for the first time in a number of years, and its in bad shape. The fairways would be considered the rough on many courses.In a good location, with friendly staff, but not very well kept up.

Club seems to be better attended as far as greens are concerned , but there are much better clubs in palm beach cty.

Hit balls at the driving range ... it was matt day. Then practiced on the putting, it was in good shape. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff are very nice , the price is right . Now the course is quite a different story . Fairways are full of crabgrass thus like hitting of concrete a d the greebs are decent at best .The excuse by greenskeeper , what do you expect for this price As a PBC and Delray Bch homeowner tax payer YES I expect better than that attitude about condition !

We had an engagement party, including a cocktail hour and a round of 9 holes of golf on October 19, 2014. The event was a huge success. Our guests raved about our events and the facility. The food was excellent and well presented. The entire staff from the banquet/catering manager, the golf and restaurant staffs were efficient, attentive, and friendly! This was our 2nd function there and would not hesitate to have another event there in the future.

My friend had his wedding here. It was a nice venue. They did a good job with everything from what I could tell.

Decent course but they need to water more

The review about hair in the club sandwich etc. sounds totally fictitious, not to mention malicious. Our experience with the restaurant has always been fine and the course is very nice. Somebody is being very nasty and in fact their review could be considered libel, except that it was probably posted by a bored juvenile. The comments about the staff are particularly ridiculous!!! They have always been very professional and helpful to us. Google should not even have posted it.

I have been playing with a group twice a week (estimated expenditure for our group has been over $9,00.00) for the the past 10 weeks and Im sorry to say the condition of the course is in deplorable condition the City of Delray Beach has spent no money to maintain the greens which are like putting in a construction zone the fairways are like hitting on concrete highway I have suggested to our group that we take our group and money and spend it elsewhere
