We come here about once a week during the summer season. It’s not the best but decent for a public pool. The YMCA membership in Delaware gets you in for free, which makes it great for us since the kids can swim indoors (at the Y) or outdoors here. My kids love the slides and the diving boards. It does get pretty packed though but what public pool doesn’t?

My kids love the zero entry. I love that I can see the whole place from my chair in the shade with my little one without worrying about him getting burnt or my children getting out of sight.

Great family place to visit. Lots of children ages adultactivities. Clean swimming pools with life guard on duty always. Lots of free parking spaces.The river walk is a great adventure and mentally relaxing.

Love to go walking here as it has a very nice path and is serene by the water.

Nice party room with tables and chairs. Great park for the kids to play, workout trail, shelter house, fun zero entry pool, ball fields, and plenty of parking.

The YMCA has ran this place in the ground..... Very dirty, & employees very snobby. I hope the city of Delaware takes the pool back from the YMCA & makes it a great pool again....

Very nice pool. Very clean. Plenty of towels which is nice to have. Loved the hot tub spent time in there and the swimming pool. Probably would say enjoyed the hit tub more die to my back problems. It felt so good for me due to my back

It was awesome I went pokemon going XD and and rna on hill near butterfly garden and sat on siwning chair facing river.

The waterslide and pools were really fun and well kept. The pool has a rough floor lining so it hurts to the walk on it. The bathrooms were also extremely gross. But the lifeguards were all very nice and helpful. Overall it was a positive experience.

The park is wonderful. I could wish for more shaded benches for the adults, but a lovely park. The inside of the rec center building is clearly aging - badly. The building and bathrooms need some updating and at the very least not brown water coming from the water fountains or bathroom sinks. The bathroom sinks on the pool side of the building were leaking, and there were no towels. There is a vent for air drying hands, but it is up so high that the many children coming through here get more air in their face or the top of their head than ever on their hands. Also in the building generally, watch if the floors are wet or if you have wet shoes, the floor is *extremely* slippery.The gym space is a very nice size with two basketball courts. The bathrooms on that side are decently maintained as well. However, it is incredibly hot and nearly unbearable in the gym during the summer as it has no AC or not enough air flow to matter. It is a nice large space that is perfect for large groups to meet, if the air worked. The rec center building here also offers a few rooms to rent.

When we walked in two girls sitting a desk, one looked at me and just pointed . The other girl called her lazy . While one sat on her phone. Second two life guards yelling back and forth the pool and one boy said I cant say what I would rather do. Staff is rude, and I won’t be back. One and only time I come with my kids .

Overcrowded and understaffed only twice a week you can find the diving boards open as they have few lifegaurds as well low capacity limit due to shortage in staff dont wast time if theure busy

One of our favorite spots, YMCA members are free, and unlimited. I see them tests the water frequently, and is clean and safe.

Felt great today during this heat wave were having. Usually the water is somewhat cold but today it was perfect for cooling off in the heat.

They cant keep lifeguards, the place is managed so poorly. Weve been turned away (as members) 4 times now. Not worth the hassle anymore. Membership cancelled.

Terribly inefficient checking in. Waited in line for 30 minutes after it opened. Won’t be coming back.

I love go there to swimming since I was a kid. Its a family friendly. At the build, need to update a lot and restroom too. Restrooms so dirty and old. Need to update restroom for everyones health.

The kids love this place. Full range of water activities for people of all ages. Zero entry pool and toddler area, fountains, 3 story slides, swim lanes, separate diving pool. Located in Mingo park which is very nice and large. Often crowded in the summer. Small snack bar. Required 10 min breaks every hour can be annoying to kids if you dont warn them in advance.

I grew up at this pool when it was mingo. Its been a great place for my own kids to call their summer home. We try to buy a pool pass every year and if we dont I go broke cus the kids always wanna be there. We love our jack florence pool.

Nice pool but so many rules you might as well just stand there. Dont waste your time unless you want to leave mad.

Great local pool, have been going for several years and the YMCA has made nice upgrades... hopefully they make a locker room & bathroom update in the near future, they are okay as of now but a bit dated.

At the pool everyone is nice so fun nice hours

Love the pool but I cant stand that the YMCA runs it now. Its only a matter of time until it costs 40 dollars to go for one day.

The park is fine there is a large track to run around and the playground is big enough for everyone but the pool was alot better before the ymca bought it now there are sooo many rules its barely fun you cant even ware goggles that cover your nose I mean comon....

I dont like how you cant wear goggles that cover your nose (one piece) but you can wear goggles with a nose plug (two separate pieces). And how strict they are
