Always fun, love going in and playing some classics

The dude behind the counter was super friendly, but this place wasnt fun at all. I wasnt feeling the arcade selections and this place is way too tight. There isnt a lot of room to maneuver inside the building and parking is limited. The only bright spot would be the few classics and the pinball machines.

Some great rhythm games for sure. Its a bit pricey though. While you get plenty of tokens for your money, most the games cost 6 tokens. If each game cost 4 instead of the 6 Id probably buy even more tokens and play much longer. The shrines to Twin Galaxies (a place of sham records with poor accountability) is a little bit much and confusing. Either way, the games all work and are fun. Definitely worth checking out.

Great place to play video games.

I tried talking to the shorter gentleman servicing Stern pinball machines about glitches and occasional problems I have noticed. I was going to compliment them on their selections and choices but instead I was treated like a kid! Like a kid in an arcade!I couldnt believe it and they told me 75 cents a time is cheap, that in Illinois its way more.Well were not in Illinois guys this is Wisconsin.I play alot of pinball and I will be watching and not using STAR WORLDS!!!!

Pac man pat, the owner is a super nice guy. He is fun to talk to and runs a great arcade. Great selection. Its a little cranped but that just adds to the experience. I would highly reccomend coming here as it is always a great time!!!

Retro and modern games, pinball, Sales, service, good people. Give them a call or stop in and drop a few tokens. Local hidden gem.

Good games but really loud

Pat is great to talk to and is willing to help. I enjoyed Dance Dance Revolution/DDR and the pinball machines the most. It was $5.00 well spent for about an hour of fun. There are a lot of choices to choose from which I like a lot. They do get busier during the evenig hours, so if you want some time to yourself, around 3 p.m. when they open is your best bet.

Kids place great

Fun stuff. Staff really takes good care of these machines! Dont use the classic hit the slot to make the quarter fall technique - youll get in trouble! Because they care.

This is an amazing arcade, with a great deal of nostalgia involved in the old stand-ups here. Classic arcade games, great variations on pac man, good dance games and some great pinball title make this an irreplaceable gem in DeKalb. The proprietor loves games and it shows in every aspect of this place. A good birthday party spot, or just a great place to play some games for fun, this arcade makes me happy.

The owner, Pat, loves his games. Their prices are really reasonable and I have a blast every time im there. This is one of the very best things DeKalb has to offer. Be sure you check out his games in the Huskies Den at the NIU Student Center, too!

We were on a road trip from Ireland, JUN 18. took the kids here as a surprise...we all loved it....spent a few hours playing pinball and all the retro arcade games....the staff were great and made the kids feel very welcome...would highly recommend...thanks...had a ball!!!!

Great arcade with an amazing variety of games. Very affordable too, you can easily play for an hour or more for under $10, which is much better than a lot of arcades Ive been to.

Place is cool has classic games and pinball. $5 for 30 tokens are not bad. Place is small and tightly packed with games no snack food that would have made it better. Manager/owner is nice. Better hrs and bigger local would make it 4 stars and add snacks and drinks would make it 5 stars. Good place to take kids to get them out of the house and not break the bank.

Its nice to have an arcade out in DeKalb and there was a friendly guy working tonight! Only thing is it can get a little crowded when theyre busy. But I loved it!

Pat is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about arcade machines and maintains all of them very well.Its just a pleasant and fun experience being here and I highly recommend stopping by if youre ever in the area. Great for kids and adults who want to act like kids for a while. They have a great selection to choose from.

Last time I went there I spent 20-50 minutes off of 6 tokens. 30 is only $5 and we even left with 25 for free. Every time Im in dekalb i get so excited to go here now lol. Definitely a cool hidden gem

This is a great little place. If you have one or four kids like I do its possible to have a great time on a tight budget. The owner is a great guy and they have a nice variety of old and new arcade games.

The absolute best place to have that old arcade experience! Totally reasonable prices and an awesome selection of games, man I loved playing Mike Tysons Punch Out here...

Pac-Man Pat is keeping the vintage arcade days alive in this small but memoribila filled arcade! He packs the games in nicely even has a bunch of pinball machines which are the hardest to keep running as theyre mechanical and issues can and will arise often. His prices are fair on machines this isnt a ticket redemption chucky cheese place if your expecting that look elsewhere. Operators have to make their money the legs on pins are definitely set at tournament style height so games are fast and quick. The average player may not enjoy this but youll find this at almost every location expect maybe a few. Overall very fun place to go drop a few $10 or $20 and look at all the memorabilia up on the wall.Justin Johnson aka Jj Johnson

A small, but great arcade with a rich history. The cabinets are switched out every so often, but there arent many of them. I think they have a pretty legitimate pinball league, but Ive never been too good with the silver ball.

Star Worlds has a fantastic environment, a huge selection of games, and is full of wonderful people. It is a great place to visit on a slow day, but also have exciting events and tournaments from time to time. It has modern games and touches, but maintains a retro feel. Theres a game in there for everyone.

Loads of pinball machines and plenty of other arcade machines to enjoy!

Great place to play arcade games

Best arcade experience in my life, and I have been gaming since the early 70s and lived through the Golden Age of arcades. Pat has created and maintains a great community feel.Lets put it like this... I drove there from Austin, TX and it was worth the drive!!

Kind worker, fun games, and super cheap for a long amount of fun! I went with my dad and he loved all the old timey atari games, and i loved all the ones new and old. The multiplayer mario kart is really fun to play with your friends! (Its about $5 for an hour of fun play!)

If youre into classic gaming, this is the place to go. They have DDR and a few newer games as well! The staff is friendly, and take great care of the machines.

Theres not many arcades out there its one of the last classics. My boyfriend and I stopped by and got our game on for less then 10 dollars. Customer service was friendly. Looking fwd to stopping by again

Walked in to find what seemed like 5 games all turned off, and no one at the counter. Heard some noise in the back and i got scared and ran out. Havent gone back since.
