If youre a Deerfield Beach resident this is the nicest and newest small family park that is located right before the bridge to the ocean. The whole park was remodeled a few years ago and they have added a nice splash pad and play area for lil kids, benches and boat docks. W elove coming here!

Nice and clean place near to intercostal, public restrooms available. Unlike other parks in Deerfield this one remains in good maintenance condition and it appears not to be another homeless and drug addicts sanctuary.

Before the pandemic Sullivan park was one of our favorite playgrounds to play at. Now during the pandemic we still love to come here even if it is just for a walk or picnic by the intercostal. We love it so much. It is clean and well planned.

Its a nice family park with boat ramps, 2 park areas for the kids, and a ferry boat that takes you to Deerfield Island Park and is wheelchair accessible, but during high tide only. Its also a good spot for fishing. Fair warning for people with little ones, there is a splash pad, so dress appropriately. Restrooms on premises as well.

Nice park lots of parking, public bathrooms that are very clean. the parking meters were not working while I was there so I dont know how much it is to pay to park. And has a splash pad and two different playground for kids. Looks like a decent place to fish and watch boats go under the drawbridge.

Love this place. 2 hours parking is free, each of the two playgrounds are gated, and the water pad is great for all ages. A plus is the option to take the free boat to the island accros the park: 5 min in the boat, 30 min walk on the island and 5 min back. My family had a great time at Sullivan Park every single time. For us, this place is an One-Day-Advanture. :)

Very cool park. There are two play areas, one appeared for the younger children. Theyre both atypical and seem to focus on climbing. I think if a kid is into parkour theyll enjoy the play area. Theres also dock area, a splash pad, minor walking trails and stairs to the bridge allowing one to cross to a1A. I noticed payment was required for parking via a small grey kiosk where you put your tag info in. Things will be really nice when the construction in the South side of the bridge is completed.

Nice little Park by the water. However be aware that you must pay for the parking and there are no signs. I came out to a $30 parking ticket if the having only been there for 45 minutes. There is a small place where you can actually pay for the parking but absolutely no signs

The view of the intercoastal waterway was lovely. Free parking was available, and a picnic area by the 2 gated playground areas which featured ample shading via sails. The splash area consisted of fountains coming up from a beautifully tiled mural surface. We were able to spot wildlife in the lush landscaped surroundings.

Its a good park to kids and to walk around. The only issue is fishing. If you fish in front (East) of the park there are to many rocks, so your line will get snagged. Youre not allowed to fish to the north of the park due to the marina and youre not allowed to fish under the bridge, since its NOT OWNED by DEERFIELD BEACH. I learned this when I was fishing there one morning and I was told to leave. Its an endowment to Deerfield beach. I never knew that and Ive been fishing here all my life which made me think of upset since there is no where else to fish.

This place is great. Family friendly fu. With a variety of options. Splashpad is amazing and the staff that maintains it is great! They are always polite and there to help with any problems. There are 2 different playgrounds, fenced in with shad structures above. Public restrooms. Right on the intercoastal. Only negative is no barrier along the intercoastal. A little dangerous if you have exploring little ones who have a tendency to run away from you.

Splash pad wasnt working, no signs to tell what time(s) the splash pad was turned on, or if there was even a button for it, we just stood around with a couple other families until we got fed up and left. Creepy rude guy kept hanging around the park, too. Also the canal is not far off so watch your kid(s) constantly. Go to Patch Reef park instead, much better there!

Went here to paddle board. Park is nice. Has parking free for 4 hours, I assume to stop boaters from using it to park all day. Has nice area for small children to play in waterpark (shoots of water coming up out of ground). Has boat ramp, but also a paddleboard launch area. The paddle board area is protected, even though some boats passed by at very slow speed so as not to make paddleboarding difficult. You can paddle around a small island, largely uninhabited, (looks like a wildlife sanctuary). You can choose to turn around and go back, or you can enter the larger intracoastal to go back to dock. Depends on how comfortable you feel being exposed to the wake of boats going faster. It seems to be a good paddleboard learning experience, but not a lot to do there. It appears you can go onto the wildlife area where they seem to have a boardwalk. It looks like it may be under repair, so was not able to visit.

It would be very fun for a small splash of refreshment and for you to take and enjoy your children as you may find some splashing fountains. I find it a great place to refresh after a long hot summer day. However, if your looking for a place to fish I wouldnt say this park is the best option. The fish there are poorly small and you wouldnt get any big fish. Not to remind you of how long it takes to have one due to all the trash in that area.

The park is great. I love the fact that they have a smaller playground and a bigger pray ground and they are both fenced in. Its got a covered table area. The water pad is great… My kids loved it, however, there is no fence around the water pad making it extremely dangerous for kids to run down the walkway towards the canal. Being that this is a brand-new park the city of Deerfield shouldve thought of that safety precaution… Hopefully they will still add a fence blocking kids from reaching the waterway.
