Good size park with a variety of amenities. However, it gets very packed and not a single person wears a mask. Not too COVID-19 friendly.

Levagood Park has been one of my favorite parks since I was a little kid. There are tennis courts, four baseball and softball diamonds, four playgrounds, a walking path, a basketball court, picnic areas, and last but not least, the pool. Definitely recommend!

The park is beautiful and there is a very nice pool but unfortunately closed due to covid 19. I spend time here with my mother very often and friends. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because I hear a lot of fights happen often here. But other than that theres a tennis court basketball court and a couple small play scapes for children. Definitely recommend

Generally considered Dearborns best park. Avoid on Monday as weekend picnickers have a habit of leaving behind a mess. Bent and broken fencing on West and North sides along with crumbling parking lots on East side contribute to a dishevelled appearance. Park still has great potential.

Today I walked by the volleyball courts and I kids who where playing about bur ( wild sharp grass) and they mentioned that the still see a few of them. That is huge improvement from last year.It would be great if the park can provide better nets and install rope lines similar to other cities. The nets are in very bad conditions

A nice park. It has a variety of things: several playgrounds, a small basketball court, baseball fields, many seating areas with benches, tennis court, a track for walking and bike riding, as well as a pool area. The pool area is great. There’s a section for children, including water attractions. The rest of the pool area has deeper pools and also a water slide. There are locker rooms and restrooms within the pool area. So there’s lots to do here and it’s kept very clean.

It says, describe your own feelings regarding this park. I grew up in this park, along with many of my friends growing up. I first saw it in 1949 when I was five years old. Levagood was a WWI war hero, and I think he was from Dearborn. They had, what we thought was, a huge granite boulder boulder. This has since then has been moved to a lower position on the other side of the road. When we were kids it had a dedication plaque on it and we all thought Officer Levagood was buried under it. We were really little then and we would climb the boulder and try to get to the top, I think I was the first. The Horseshoe had an immense flagpole in its center and the Park Attendent would raise the American Flag every morning and take it down every evening at dusk. Sometimes they would have someone playing Taps and it was all so memorable I gave us goosebumps. The Boy Scouts would bivoac at the bottom of the hill every summer and build a huge bonfire on a big cement circle made just for that. It was an exciting time to watch the scouts, all much older than us, and see their skills with axes and tools during the days they were camped in the Park. Darn, this is sure getting long, and probably boring to those who never experienced it, so Im going to stop. Unless theres another request for history, lol. All & all I love this Park. Cheers, Gary K.

Its a nice park with many play areas with a basketball hoop and concrete area all around for riding bikes , rollerblading, walking, etc. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because it has two volleyball poles but only one has a net that is slanted :/ not ideal

Awesome place for a nice walk. Kinda disappointed about their water being dirty & the drinking fountains not working...plus its kind of a mess all the time, leaces never get raked, grass seems uncared for, garbage spread around the park. Just little things like that, but other than that its a nice place.

Used to be a great park for a quick picnic. However, on our last trip the park enployees forced everybody into a small part of the park - i felt like cattle. And most picnic tables were off-limit; they were passing out tickets!! Is it a coincidence that most families there were of Arab decent??
