Im giving this review 5 stars because Im happy theatres are back in Michigan. Its been almost two months since AMC announced their reopening so it feels good to return to the big screen. All the standard safety precautions are in place. My only gripe is the slimmed down concessions - no hot foods at the moment which killed my buzz cause i love my cheese sticks. Oh and no refills on pops or popcorn so thats also an issue but just eat good beforehand and youll be fine.

I like the AMC but the candy and food high 5 dollars for its nice clean employees smile and greet u the place is ran like to go when theres no kids its fast check in and out. Well love this place will return well protected by are the right price not to high, they need to lower the heat its to hot need to be cooler

The movie was good. The staff was nice. The seats were from 1996. They need to remodel their facility like other AMC theaters around the country. I was expecting reclining red leather chairs. They have cloth that rock like a rocking chair.

I enjoyed my experience today at the AMC theater Fairlane I saw excellent film great cast I cant wait till next time

The most disgusting theater Ive been in. The dollar show theater is better maintained. Food was disgusting. The drink dispensers were dirty,The bathrooms stunk and had trash and overflowing toilets. I rather have peed my pants than used their bathroom. The theater itself was disgusting. The most uncomfortable chairs. This location use to be desirable and a treat to go to. I am truly amazed theyre still open and havent been condemned. My daughter is still trying to figure out why mommy and daddy said this was the nicest theater when they were kids.

Bathrooms were disgusting. Three of four coke machines.....did not have coke(one was broken all together). The ticket taker earns a star for himself. He always makes us smile. Everyone was friendly. Seats were comfy. Floor was sticky.

I had a great time, I got great seats and went with my family to see Frozen 2. The theater was clean and comfortable, and this theater is always showing the newest movies at a fair price. I didnt give it 5 stars because we tried to get regular coke from the pop machine and 3 out of 4 didnt have it, so it was a little bit of an inconvenience. Also, the pop corn is super expensive. But I still would reccomend this theater.

The worst theater place every. They never clean it. The trash under the chairs. The chairs are nasty. They should do more works and cleaning. I would never go there again. Never recommend. We need new theater in Dearborn.

Went to an evening show. No long lines but was inconvenienced when it came to getting refreshments. The soda machines only had sugar free soda. They charge way too much for a cup of soda for you to not get the kind you want.

Probably the WORST movie theater I’ve ever been to. Seats our outdated and dirty. Popcorn is dry and stale and the workers at the food concession had attitude or look miserable. Never again. One star for the young man who is disabled and works the ticket booth. He was cool.

I watch the movie Harriet Tubman. Just excellent. That movie should bring all people together. I dont care what race you are. People should know. What the world was like back in the 1800s. God for ever bless.harriet Tubman.

The chairs are old and not clean. The carpet is old and not clean. The popcorn is way too expensive and sometimes stale (depends on your luck). The lines are way too long. Needs more capable staff. The drink machines oftentimes dont have the most popular drinks and your drink may taste like bad sink water. This theater, to be blunt, is old. It needs renovations.

It smells bad, the seats were to small and didnt recline. The popcorn was way too salty and the concession stand too pricey. The ticket girl and concession guy were really nice and that was the only thing that was. Wont be going back.

There was a lot of social distancing, but the problem was at the concession stand they didnt have anything no hot dogs no nachos and was running out of popcorn that was the only bad part about going back to the movies.

My experience was not great at all. The lines were long. The entire building was a mess from the bathrooms to the theaters. I will definitely find another theater to frequent.

I really enjoyed this theater its close to where I live seemed to be pretty well maintained plus its right there by the Fairlane Mall

Unlike some locations they actually really did follow the stubs policy. It came in handy seeing the line likely driven by bad boys 3 being out. The membership comes in handy in times like these.

Why are they still in business? Found a hair in my popcorn. Manager is ghetto. Theater dirty every visit. When is this going to change for the better

Its a movie theater. There are staff members, some with black vests, some with polo shirts. You buy tickets from a kiosk or a real person. There is a concession stand, they sell popcorn and candy and drinks. Probably other things too. There are auditoriums with seats and a screen. You can reserve one of these seats when you buy a ticket. You can then sit in that seat and watch ads, lots of ads. Then you can watch previews for other movies, lots of previews. Then the movie starts, and you watch that. Sometimes people will walk out of the movie because they are not enjoying it, but most of the time people stay to the end. You can even stay until all the credits are done, and get that dirt look for the staff member that has to clean the auditorium when the movie is finished because they had to wait for you to sit through the credits. Then you leave, and if you enjoyed the movie, you can have a great conversation with your friends about it, if you didnt enjoy the movie, you can just say meh when asked.

Its nice! Id prefer to drive all they way to Troy or Sterling Hieghts for a really good movie theater

Mediocre movie w/o good screen. Private security guards inside. Staff is very friendly.Update: I went to the last movie last week, and at the end (almost 1 am) all trash containers were overflowed. Trash on the floor. Bathroom very dirty and the kitchen for hot food at 930 was already closed. I lowered one star after this

Something my daughter and Granddaughter wanted to do. Could have watched the same movie at my place for no admission fee, free popcorn, and recline in my bed.

The sound quality in the theater was terrible. There was a buzzing sound each time the characters spoke. It sounded like the speakers went bad a long time ago. The theater also smelled like sweat and body odor. The only reason Im rating 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was very nice and the food was good and was ready in just a couple of minutes. I was very disappointed about the sound quality and smell in the theater because clearly these were things that should have been noticed and corrected a while ago.

The movie theatre is nice and huge but the popcorn wasn’t tasty and they didn’t even have seasoning, the drink option machine sucked with its few choices and the seats were very uncomfortable. Also I think I heard a buzzing noise as well, wasn’t sure if that was part of the movie or theatre sound.

Theater has fell all the way off, movie was awesome the best part of the visit,dont care for the seating chart cause no one follows it pretty pointless

My experience was much better than years ago. Food choices have improved, however, it was very expensive. Safety for my family was a huge concern of mine years ago - which deterred us from visiting this location - but things have greatly improved. Well done.

Let me first say that my last visit wasn’t an issue with service.I’ve given this place too many attempts to be better. I will not go back ever again. I’ve lived in Dearborn since the early 90s and have watched the whole mall atmosphere go to the pits, and the theater is no exception. Just ghetto. People talking to each other, making commentary of scenes in the movie, taking phone calls and texts, the theater and bathrooms get destroyed. I think I need to move out of the city. No respect or consideration for others. Disgusting.

Bought Tix online, v so VERY easy in. Clean and great service at concession. We saw Star Wars in IMAX 3D. Sound and picture were great, but the seat rows were really close together for a tall person, and they do not recline.

The floors are super sticky, the seats are smelly, its filthy. The whole building needs to be sanitized with bleach and lysol. The employees hate there job! No one smiles, or even greets you. Dont bring your kids here if you love them, not safe. Needs to be shutdown for spreading germs and bacteria.

A multi screen theatre with stalls for snacks and soda....Ticke prices are reasonable, varying from7$ to 13$ if u book at the theatre. Overall good experience and is not crowded at all so you can watch movie in peace.

This movie theater is not up to date, they had 1 person at the ticket counter to service 30-40 people in line. That was ridiculous, I asked for a manager to come out to help. The manager sent another person to help, she came out walking slow and her customer service was unprofessional. Theyre excuse was normally on a Friday its slow, but instead of looking at the line they were basing it on a typical Friday night. This theater need to improve on their customer service skills and put the customer first. After all without customers they wouldnt have a job. Also, the kiosk is always broken, I could have paid on the kiosk but it was broken. This AMC location doesnt care about their customers

Disgusting, Dirty, Unprofessional... Place Is Sad.. Took 20min to get 2 microwave sliders.. Cold Stale Popcorn. Never Again!

This place is good but your kids will be disappointed to find that they cant get a popcorn refill but otherwise its a very good place to see a movie oh and if you stand by the entrance at night and look down at the cement you will get a glittery surprise

The doors opened a tad late, but the staff was pleasant and the place was clean. The prices are, well prices, but the cost of tickets were surprisingly cheap compared to others.

The entire theater is filthy. The concession area was absolutely disgusting. It would only take a moment to wipe down the counters. The staff was pleasant (especially the ticket sales ladies) with the exception of the food handler whose demeanor was off putting and borderline disrespectful. Its very sad as I have frequented this theater since its opening...I wrote off Southfield AMC many years ago and Ill be adding Fairlane AMC to my Do Not Return list!!

So we couldnt find any tickets to the end game except for here and thats what we did. The movie was fabulous but the theater was dirty my feet was sticking to the floor and during the movie the people who were sitting in the back row got up and walk past the projector which interrupted the movie. The only reason why Im giving this movie two stars is because of the availability of the movie I wanted to see and the manors of the staff who were very friendly and informative.

Mantinee.. Great time to see a movie. Dont have to worry about the young crowds.. And also didnt have to worry about my talking at the movie disturbing anyone. I recommend seeing all shows before 1pm.

Best time to go is when the teenagers are not out late at night. You can enjoy the movies with out all the loud noise.

Movies was good but need to upgrade the interior ... Everything looks prehistoric meaning it looks the same as it looked 10 years ago ... Seeing that movie turn outs are not as huge as they used to be maybe its time to upgrade to the big recliner seats , yes they take up more space but it would create a more luxury experience

IMAX theater feels dated. Standard theater seats, sticky floors. The sound system while good, isnt as good as the newer theaters. Its still better than a normal theater, just not quite up to modern IMAX.

Amazing place

This is the absolute worst experience i have ever had at a movie theater. If i could leave less than a 1 star review i would, if was filthy, has had zero upgrades done to the facility, staff is rude and the theater smelled like urine. I am disapointed in AMC for not maintaining this location as they do the others.

I like this place. Their price tickets arent too expensive, theyre reasonably priced. It previews the latest movies, and have a variety of different movie selections. Their snack bar is also reasonably priced, and they provide a wide selection of snacks, which includes; candy, popcorn, pop/soda, etc. Theyre clean, and their customer service is great! I recommend this place!

Seats could recline a little better but still a great experience.

The theater is under staffed, concession prices are too steep, and there is no seasoning for the popcorn. I was told that there hadnt been any for over a year.It was a challenge theater finding my seat. Not visible enough. Best part about it was plenty of available seating.

Fairlane AMC movie theaters is deplorable! Bathrooms are disgusting, not enough staff, snack bar nasty and lackluster, condiment areas not stocked. If I never go there again, it will be too soon! Management should be ashamed!

Desperately needs an upgrade and a power wash. Assigned seating is not necessary either.

Last night there were no AMC employees checking tickets, you could walk up to any movie and watch it. Popcorn is always terrible and the other food is borderline. On the positive side, the theater was warm and seats were comfortable.

Love the old cenic route towards the movie theaters. Took my niece for her first movie experience and was happy with the process. However the one thing I recommend updating is the chairs in the theater.

A nice theatre. As a Canadian it shows movies which are not in Canada such as Unplanned. We appreciated seeing that movie here. We will be back for other movies.

Horrible!! Menu display light was not on to order food and beverages. This movie theater is dirty! Food area were you get your pop and butter is unsanitary.

Its location is convenient but its seats are old and filthy. They need to remodel the theaters.

Its a typical AMC, a bit overpriced but thats normal. There was an ample supply of coke and popcorn, the usual and of course other menu items such as pizzas, I would return again. The seats are all reclining and the screen is large enough that it looks good wherever you are standing.

Good people at ticket purchase clean theatre

When purchasing our tickets I was asked if I had a rewards program. It was Tuesday so as members our tickets were only 5 bucks each. Very professional, nice, and so friendly!! Please extend my compliments to Jade who really made my night.

The movie theater is decently priced for movie theaters these days but I will his theater is always dirty and gross. The bathrooms were disgusting and the theater itself was covered in popcorn when we got there. It doesnt have fancy reclining seats like many of the other area theaters.

An aging theater getting pretty dirty. Picture and sound were good in auditorium 6. I do like that you can raise the armrests to sit more comfortably next to someone. And like most booster seats, the ones here are pretty gross, but its nice that they have them.

This theatre has not changed over the years other than its name. The seats are worn and depending on where you sit it has a really bad scent. I hope in the future they get some update like new chairs or update the minimal items in their concession stand

The theater hot as hell and the entire place was run down and filthy. Dont add butter or any condiments the tables arent cleaned.
