After playing pickleball there this past week Im appreciative theyre giving this a try and providing another venue for this growing sport. Lighting is a bit problematic on cloudy days, but not unusual for indoor play. Again, kudos for the effort!

We love it here!! They have an amazing gym, racquetball court, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, a kids center for parents who want to work out and leave there child with a responsible worker with toys and tv with movies

1st time facial. Oh my gosh you ladies pamper yourself & have an hour long facial. Adrianna you a absolutely a gem. So kind, thoughtful & gentle. I loved every minute of my hour session. Thank you & please do me again in a few weeks, I hope!!

The manager is VERY rude , unprofessional , admitted to having a full voicemail that he doesnt listen to and refused to cancel my membership because of COVID. I have tried to get a hold of him several times and each time the front desk clerk gave an excuse as to why he couldnt come to the phone when i finally spoke to him he kept yelling at me then hung up the phone on me because i wasnt getting my way when I asked him to cancel my membership over the phone. THe place is old and really needs a facelift anyways

Update: The DRHC contacted me and said I will get one month free. Although after the membership was signed, they changed their mind, and said there is NO one month free, instead it is 13th month free. Still, it is not marked on the contract so you can easily assume you will not get 13th month for free.Previous review: I wanted to renew my membership after a year break, they were happy to see me back since they offered me 30% higher membership than last year. If DRHC upgraded their facility and their lights on tennis courts, then sure - but without any upgrades or improvement, good luck!

Fantastic place. Highly recommended. This place has all the goodies under one roof for endless physical activity. Enjoy the heated pool, the weight machines, the hot tub or sauna. There is even a spa for an after workout massage and more. Endless. Super fun place to work out, whatever way you prefer! You definitely have options here. The manager is excellent and truly cares. Highly recommended.

My son played in a tennis tournament at DRHC yesterday. I was impressed how immaculate the facility was. Despite also having an active health club onsite, there was no gymnasium smell which I appreciated. The staff was friendly and accommodating and there were two fellows constantly taking used towels to be laundered. Also, there was a binder on the front desk requesting members to let them know if any repairs were required so that they could be remedied. Impressive.

Been a member for 10 years. Place is good, clean, and serves its purpose. A little expensive for the amenities offered and the gym could use a lighting update. The old style school gym bell lighting is brutal and its too dark in there. Other than that, its a great gym and tend to be fairly empty except for the obvious times. The locker rooms are standard, except the carpet needs to be replaced its clean. The indoor pool and hot tub are nice and they offer Sauna and Steam room. Lastly, the day care is only open to 12 pm on Saturdays, this is completely inconvenient. Staying open till 4 pm would align them with their competition.

I never had a bad experience with any staff members. Everyone is so friendly and it feels like a family. I love the different classes offered. The kids club employees are awesome with the children. My family and I are more than happy with this facility and we recommend it to everyone.

I would like to give this place a higher review but I just cant, considering the money I am paying for it. The main gym room is pretty dirty, very humid during summer, and the equipment is kind of worn. Almos all of the staff is friendly (it depending on who is at the front desk). There are signs everywhere that tell you how things should be done a particular way. Some of them make sense, but some seem to be made by a grumpy old person who wants everything done their way.There are many old folk at the gym at all time, and they seem to have no grasp of gym etiquette. Dont turn around, or they will occupy your machine, steal your weights, your water, your pride and your girlfriend. Overall weights are never stacked. I dont know if its the old or the young people (Probably both) but staff doesnt want to do it either .As a grand conclusion, the gym is an ALRIGHT. There is a sauna a steam room, a pool and tennis fields. It might be worth your buck if you intend to play tennis, but if youre looking for a gym there are places which provide better experience for the same money.

Staff are amazing. Facility is good. But I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life . More then several times I have had other guests openly tell me how much they hate Arabs and foreigners.... I will never go back to drhc. Now Im stuck paying every month for a membership I cant even enjoy

Membership is required. The drhc has a large facility with a fitness/weight room, many tennis courts, racquetball, rooms for classes, and a pool. A lot of classes are free like yoga. There are also a lot of classes you can attend for a fee like boot camp. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. The locker rooms are good size and have a stream room and sauna. The facility is not brand new but has all the same amenities and is really convenient. The club updates and paints to keep it looking good. Its the best!

Nice gym but i discovered later that i couldve joined better ones with similar price. Still i dont regret it bc its clean and everything is available. One more ugly thing about it is the 1 year contract at first before continuing month by month

I have been at this gym for 9 years. I am very happy. This gym is family oriented place. This gym Hashem racquet ball; tennis for adults and for children on weekends also it has a big swimming pool. There are a lots of activity available at this gym some are free and some you have to pay.Overall this gym in Dearborn and Dearborn Heights is the best.

DIRTY! No air conditiconditioning in the gym area at all! Very humid -dirty air in the gym! Equipment is soo outdated. The entire place is outdated ..who knows where the money goes..its not being put into this gym! What a shame. The staff are out dated too.

Place has an old feel and the manager will not work with you. At the end of my contract I will not sign up again.

Staff are friendly, accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

They have two power racks, a few bumper plates, a decent amount of free weight equipment. They have a nice variety of everything youd need to work with, but weight area is busiest in the evenings.

Just read about the owner Al Ferris taking membership fees at his gym in Lincoln Park and then promptly shutting down a week later. Fox 2 states that this isnt the first time either! You shouldnt treat people like this! Al sounds like a terrible, selfish person with no regard for others. Treat people right Al!

I am only working in Dearborn for the summer and I went in to inquire about getting a 1 day guest pass (something clearly offered on the website) before signing up for the summer. Upon asking I was told no we dont do those here and I brought up the website and he said Id have to go home and print out the guest form (just your name, address and email) and then bring it in. This was unfortunate because I am in temporary housing for the summer with no printer. Furthermore, the website also says Stop by today for a free tour or complimentary workout neither of which were offered. Overall the guy at the desk seemed very hostile towards me and emphasized that it was a private club and you cant just walk in like I did. Im guessing he had something against younger people (Im 22) or else he wouldve offered to at least give me a form to fill out. I wouldnt go back and try again but they are one of the few places with pool facilities in the area. For the 30 seconds I was in there, the facilities looked nice though.I plan to update the review when/if I secure a membership and spend some time there
