My second poker room. Would be my first, except so much further. I go here mostly for the tournaments. They offer great high hand promotions

I enjoyed myself I end up winning some money but it was a good experience I would suggest it to anybody to get out and have a good time at this time.

It was my first time visiting. I had fun placing bets on the dogs and collecting money when Id win! I liked that you can go outside to see them race up close. The Greyhounds are beautiful and run so fast. I went only to watch them, but theres a lot more going on here! (The Poker Room and horse racing Simulcast.) If you like beer, theres plenty of options. The restaurant doesnt have a very enticing menu and the prices are high. Their Snack Bar has yummy hotdogs, nachos, & ice cream. Its a trip worth making for a weekend excursion.

Poker room like any other. Nothing horrible to report and not amazed either.

Brought my dog back here to where she came from when I rescued her 5 years ago. Heard the news of the new laws going into effect in a couppe years so had to bring her bacl for a visit and some pics of course. Great drinks and food even tho my betting skills arent the best its still a good evening out doing something different :)

Today is the sixth time I have been to this casino for three card and no table is Available. I brought 2000 to play with. Six times I have been turned away. Now I understand 2000 isnt much, although it could pay many salaried employees for the afternoon. Keep this in mind if you consider this card room. Stay safe and god bless America.

Went to the flea markets and a very nice restaurant near the track

They have 13 races during a Wednesday or Saturday matinee which we like, put down a $2.00 bet on the dog you like and watch them run. If youre lucky you can come away with more money than you came with.Even if you dont you will have a good time.

They can’t accommodate their regular clients when they have tournaments. if you’re going to have a tournament then you need to have enough dealers for the table games and the other Texas Holdem games that are not part of the tournament. This happens on a regular basis when they are having a tournament. Some of those who work up front try to accommodate regulars when they ask for a table to be opened and others do not. Their should be available dealers for the other games. They are certainly making enough money out there. Hire more dealers!

Really enjoyed this place. Fun watching the dogs and the food and drinks were good. I brought my family there. Ages 5 months to 60 years old and we all enjoyed it and felt it was family friendly.

Always had so much fun taking my daughters here, was one of our favorite things to do. Such a shame people are so sensitive or whatever you want to call it that they are ending the races with the dogs. Really mind boggling, borderline pathetic.

Great place to spend an afternoon. We met some friends here..the men decided to play poker for a few hours. We were very entertained. The facility is clean and very organized. Will come back for sure.

I stopped by this place on my way out of a short vacation to Daytona Beach. It is a 5 minute or less drive from the airport. When I arrived it took a minute to find parking. It was a Saturday and they had a big tournament for Texas Holdem going on. Still, I found one and it looked like people were parking on gravel at the very back too. They have live dog racing you can bet on. The greyhounds were fun to watch and super cute. Florida has voted to ban this type of racing in 2020 (I get it, animal rights and such, but this isnt a political post) just stating that so if this is something you want to do, do it before its too late. There is also a huge poker room and tons of simulcast horse racing you can bet on. The staff was super kind and helpful as I had never been here before. The betting on races is easy! They have actual people to take your bets, or machines. They use the same system as Keeneland or Churchill Downs for horse racing, so that may be familiar to horse racing fans. They have a snack shop that also sells beer, and a full bar as well. The poker room has some casino table type poker games, and tons of seats for cash games. I wanted to play but had to catch my flight. Thanks for a fun time while I waited!

Nice poker room. Restaurant had great food. Service was ok. At the end of March is the last greyhound races. They will be adding slot machines.

I get to watch all the Cleveland Browns games. I am a die hard Browns fan. This place has a lot to offer. From draft beer to the awesome fish sandwiches. We have a blast here.

Fast entertainment. Food is extremely good. We are not regulars maybe once a year. But its an Entertaining experience and enjoyable if your looking for something different to do in Daytona

Im so sad the dog tracks are closing! People really should have done their research before they assume these animals are treated poorly. If you like to go to the horse track you better start standing up to prevent them from closing! Because the activist are going after them next!!! Start getting involved!!! If you dont the world you think is free will no longer be!!!!

If it is possible I wont give them no star,after driving to play 3 card poker we were told do to covid 19 those tables arent open,just made my decision to drive on to hard rock Tampa,never go there again

Came for wednesday special 12.99 prime rib. Arrived early mentioned prime rib on arrival. Found out at seating time we needed reservation. No mention on arrival.Was told to check back in an hour, maybe they could accomodate the 4 of us.If we were told we would have reserved when we arrived. Lost money, evening spoiled probably wont go back.

Met some friends here over the weekend. The card room was pretty busy, plenty of other things to wager on though. The place was clean and seemed to be run pretty well.

Couldnt get any service for cocktails or food entire time there. Had to get my own drink. After complaining about I was reprimanded by employees like it was my fault, for missing them comming by! Not true. Enjoyed the poker untill we found irregularity on a 2-4 limit game with 2 9 of of hearts in the deck. When confronted about they just Kind of blew it off . OMG. Calling gaming camission tomarrow! They should have called the eye in the sky and offered every one playing an apology and explanation for there short comming and mabey a compromise for being cheated. Beware! 0 on service definitely 0 on gaming! Its not that they establishment cheated but were unaware of and didnt properly handle the situation. Just being honest as all my reviews I wont go back. Rude very unprofessional service. . Very arrogant altitude about whole situation. Stay away! Go to a real casino! Unprofessional.

I love this place!! Came here the other day after work and had to make it quick so I put $40 on high card and walked out with $140 in 15 minutes of walking through the doors. Quickest money Ive ever made! Place is clean, has food and drinks! Definitely recommend!

The Astronaut is amazing to see when you walk in, the dog track is something I have never seen before- this was my 1st time watching Greyhounds race, they really are beautiful majestic animals, watching them run was a really interesting experience, I am a dog lover and have cared for animals for about 18 years. I played poker as well, the managers and floor people and cashiers were all real cool, I enjoyed my sessions here and really enjoyed how professional everything was. I will definitely be back and appreciate all the love I received on my visits here.Great place !! 5 stars

We’ve been to several Greyhound racetracks over the years and this one is by far the nicest. The clean and professional vibe here is a little different from your typical backwoods racetrack. They simulcast several varieties of horse racing as well as other greyhound track coverage. A nice poker room was rocking during my last visit. If your hungry they have a restaurant and a snack stand. Unfortunately, greyhound racing is being phased out by 2020 in Florida, please make sure to check out a race before this classic Florida night out is gone the way of smoking cigs in the hospitals. Just a factoid: greyhound racing was more popular than horse racing in the 60s and 70s. I have to say this, how can you ban greyhound racing and not horse racing? Obviously, a gentrified move.

Horrible floor GUY (bald guy about 40). Demeaning to his staff.. Criticized a dealer in a three way tournament pot, loudly telling the dealer it was simple math, like the dealer wasnt figuring things out right.. Turns out the dealer was right in his calculations and the FLOOR GUY was wrong, But the idiot floor guy never apologized for his degrading nastiness.. I heard this BS and I was two tables away!!This guy was CONTINUALLY Obnoxiously LOUD when he didnt need to be..Wouldnt listen to a player when he tried explaining that when he mucked his cards, the dealer caused a card to turn over.. This floor guy penalized the player one round .. You would NEVER find that in Vegas.. You are supposed to evaluate the situation.. This guy needs a lesson in proper tournament etiquette and an attitude adjustment This all happened in one tournament... Go figure..

I went alone, would probably have had more fun of I had gone with a friend. Dogs seemed like they were having a good time. Tails were wagging and all had an alert demeanor.Go EARLY before the races if you want a table for lunch. After the races begin people wont get up so that new diners can sit down for lunch.Very busy on the Wednesday matinee, pretty much standing room only when a rain shower came through. Mostly retired people at the Wednesday matinee. Some children, but not too many that I couldnt get away from the misbehaved ones. Long lines for making bets. Staff was nice and friendly enough.I had enough fun that I will try again sometime with a companion.

First time to Daytona and visited the poker room with a good friend. He played cash while I played 1:00pm Wednesday tournament. Cant complain as 4 of us chopped at the end. Went back for the Sunday night tourney and ended up chopping that as well! Dealers were very efficient and accurate. Very well run tourney. Cant wait to come back!!

Josie was our server and did an amazing job, the food was very good and came out quickly. It was a fun evening watching the dogs and being able to bet on the horses. We all had a great time and will be back to do it again.

Came in around noon today. The poker room was already rather busy. The simulcast had a few people going back and forth but overall not too busy. The server at the snack bar and the two ladies at the front door were very nice and actually made me feel welcome to be there. Im interested to see how much busier it would get later into the Friday night.

Plenty of free parking. They sell meals, snacks and a variety of drinks. You can play cards and bet on the dog races both local and remotely. (Large screens line the walls to show the other tracks) Indoor and outdoor seating. Check for post times. Bring or for a quarter buy a pencil, buy a program, and try your luck. Minimum $2 bet. I always take my out of town relatives here.Google dog race program abbreviations to get a better understanding of the program.

Wonderful greyhound track! Its a shame they are being forced to close by misinformation and lobbying by an out-of-state lobbying group who hoodwinked the Florida residents.

We decided to stop here for dinner and to watch some dogs raceOf course there was a chance of winning money.Upon entering we were told that the dinning room was closed because of a special event. I wonder why that info wasnt placed online.However, despite the dinning debacle we had a great time spent a little money won some money pretty much went out for free.Every staff member we met was helpful, friendly, and professional.Try it you just mat enjoy yourself.

Sometimes the staff are not nice or friendly to people of color. But most of the staff are. Stay away from the bar if you dont want to run into that situation. But if you have to order food thats not on the snack bar menu, have a friend, with no color, do this.

While a typical horse and dog betting establishment, poker is a big part of the on-site gaming excitement. Dont expect to pay anything under $3.00 for a cup of soda or $5.00 for s can if beer. Children of any age are allowed inside and at the dog track as long as they have a parent or guardian with them. The facility is clean and parking is sufficiently provided.

The old dog track was much better . seating is a disaster. Probably will go to the best bet for the preakness in St Augustine. I never like the track. However the poker room is fine.
