Location is decent for a Bar and sand Volleyball combo. Definitely not enough parking, we had to park a 1/4 mile away. Bathroom needs a good cleaning. The music choices are not always the best and some are just offensive. Food smelled good but didnt have any as we had already eaten prior. The location overall could use an update.

Diverse crowd and the margarita slushy is fantastic. Goes well the chicken on the stick they have on the grill.

Its great but you can smell the weed being smoked. Kids are running around and the parents are not containing them. They shouldnt be allowed to just run around when games are being played, without supervision.

Setters friendly staff good food hot off grill and coldest beer in city. Not to mention plenty beautiful girls in swim wear playing volleyball

Best place to play sand volleyball!

This is an awesome place to watch people playing volleyball, hear great music, and have a great time drinking with your friends. They have a lot of seating outside but not so much inside. I mean if it is a really busy night youre going to have a hard time finding a place to sit inside. But, when its nice weather outside its great because you can sit outside and at bigger tables. Their staff is very nice and work very hard to get everyone taken care of as fast as they can. They have a lot of volleyball tournaments and courts for anyone who wants to get a team together and play. You do have to pay to play but its really cheap. I believe its like $10 every day that you play, in tournaments I think. I dont know because I just watch other people I know play and drink there so you can find out what kind of price range they have on game play there by calling or going by there. They have a great location right off of RT 4 and Stanley but you need to get there early if you want to park near the place. They always have a lot of people parked in the lot, on the street, in the back, and side of place. Of course if you come later after all of the volleyball tournament people clear out then parking isnt such a big deal. Anywho, Setters is a great place to be and have an awesome time with family and friends whether you play volleyball or not. Always a great atmosphere there and have a great time whenever I go.

Last night they had a full bar, at least 1 or 2 courts of people playing, multiple other groups of people hanging out outside, but they called last call at 11:30pm, we were all told to get the (expletive) out by a very rude bartender. Up until that point everyone was having a good time.

First time visiting from Tucson & totally wish I could take this place home with me. The layout, concept & vibe are all on point. Cant wait to visit again.

Love coming here for volleyball! A little dirty in some spots, but in general pretty clean. I do wish smokers had to go to a designated spot though.

I was the Disc Jockey there for a Dayton Childrens fundraiser. The staff and crowd were awesome.

So id heard of this place but had never been. A guy Im seeing if on league there. Its play or shine due to the advanced grading and drainage. Theres many open air outdoor courts and healthy food choices as well as a bar and upbeat music. The spray off outdoor showers are a big plus to leave sand where it belongs.I was impressed at the huge plate of watermelon for only $1.50.I can see why they are so popular in the area.... And why a few copy cats have popped up.. go to the original people. Players are not blinded by the sun at any time of day....

We had so much fun! We were there for a fundraiser for a Pelotonia cancer research fundraiser night. It was organized, fun and family friendly. #OneGoal

Good place to play volleyball and thats where the compliments stop. Its in a rough part of town. The bar is simple and not clean. Not many drink options. The bathroom has no stall doors and isnt clean. Dont think Ill be back to this place.

Great place to have a beer and play volleyball. Leagues are nice. Causal playing during the weekdays have late hours. Typically 1030pm to 1200pm

Been playing here for 8 years. Mark and Hal run a great program. Bar has craft beer and there is a grill outside that cooks fresh when you order.

I would give this a negative five stars if I could. TERRIBLE service, old lady working the bar made a mistake and took too much money off of my friends card and REFUSED give her back the money she owed her. Then began arguing with her and threatened to kick us out and continued arguing with other customers.

Great place for volleyball. It doesnt have the east dayton feel to it when volleyball is going on. Not sure about non volleyball night.

Staff is great & there are 8 volleyball courts. Leagues M-F with tournaments typically every weekend (during season). Great group of people who are in leagues as well. Favorite place in Dayton, Ohio.

For me first impressions are key I had a bad experience went in on a Saturday night expecting to leave that closed because of a birthday night in the Hole Bar got told to leave 12:30 they didnt explain why and I have literally just bought two drinks before getting asked to leave very rude very disrespectful

Great for some pick up volleyball and to meet other lovers of volleyball. Open late - only downside is if you want to play volleyball late at night with underage friends - they cant get in after 10:30.

Not sure who is in charge of the music on Thursday nights but its absolute garbage! Nothing but profanity and inappropriate remarks in the songs. Im not the type to be easily offended but this was rediculous!

Trash. The organizers are rude as hell. I went to this guy name mark to get some information about the the league and how to register with my friends because its our first time. He was rude and answered me whit a disrespectful tone and he was yelling dont go there. Its a waste of time

Was having a good time then a blond girl comes out shouting insults and rudely kicked us out for being there 3 minutes after people under 21 were supposed to leave uncalled for!!!?!
