Easy to find between Uno pizza and the Victoria Theater, this modern smallish facility is on the third floor accessed by stairs or an elevator. It shares the building with WDPR 88.1 Discover Classical radio station.

This is a regional treasure. We have season tickets for the Human Race and love going to the Loft. There are no bad seats. The plays are absolutely incredible. The sets amaze me every time that this is local theatre. Lighting, sound, lobby, concessions, ladies room, everything is comfortable and inviting. Human Race tickets are reasonable and the production quality is superb. Get on their email list. Lots of wonderful info!

Lovely space for smaller, more intimate performances. All seats are close, but Id recommend getting center for best views.

Season ticket holders for years--a great way to have a set date-night in the years where your kids either need you regularly, or need you to drive them around. Plays are usually a mixed bag of ones I like and ones I may not have chosen independently, but on the balance good enough that we keep getting tickets year after year. Great deal cost-wise as well.

The Loft theater is one of the true hidden gems in the Gem City of Dayton Ohio. The Theater seating is arranged in a half round arrangement, that is, 180 degrees of seating around the theater stage as Shakespeare intended plays to be seen. Theater goers are first welcomed to the theater buy a host of wonderful volunteers. The staging and backdrops for every performance that I have seen in my almost 20 years of attending the Loft theater is always first rate as are the performances and Musical accompaniments. Gladly, I will take a performance at the Loft theater any night over a theater performance in any other venue in the greater Dayton region.

I hadnt been to the theater in a while and I was invited by a friend. It was a cute little theater. The show was good, not great. We saw Brighton Beach Memoirs. It was nice to see a live show again. I will still go back.

Professional theatre, semi-circular stage, small seat venue that is up close and personal. Provides previously preformed offerings and brand new productions. Gives up and coming playwrights a place to have their work professionally preformed. Have been doing season tickets for years.

Great performances and interesting selection of shows! The seats are on the small side, but thats to be expected with a small theater. Refreshments are available and can be taken into the theater area.

This place has very good Off Broadway Type shows. It usually has amazing sets. Has an intimate and friendly atmosphere.

We came for an audition so we didnt go into the actual theater just one of the little rooms. The people were all nice and professional . It was a good experience.

I really enjoy this venue. It is the home of the Human Race Theatre Company, Daytons only professional theatre company. Its great for seeing a musical, a drama, or a comedy. Regardless of the performance genre, the Loft is a great venue.

The plays are top quality as are the actors and actresses. I love the small intimate setting!
