The individual who was supposed to be checking tickets answered a call and made attendees wait.No mask mandate. Over 75% of the crowd was mask free.No social distancing.Low to zero alcohol choices. Bar did shut down at 10pm.There were far too many opening bands (9, lasting almost 5 hours).The sound guy supplied by the venue smoked at his station.Main band didnt get on stage until 10:05 pm, and was only on the stage for 47 minutes.

Great location, you can come and go during festivals. Stores next door are well priced but likes the business

Been here multiple times over the years. I had my first bad experience. New owners, bartenders, etc. Taps were out so beer was being poured into cups (way too time consuming), bartenders were super slow (no hustle, never saw bartenders work that slow), bathroom needs working toilets and doors. Won’t be returning until some things are fixed. Great show though! Bands were great!

Very dirty, slow service, rude staff, with the exception of the guys who worked the door for the show I attended, bathrooms were very disgusting, people were spilling beer all over, no one tried to clean it up, an older gentleman sat in this booth thing coughed and smoked cigarettes the whole time. The show was great the artists were great and played great music, definitely need to clean that venue up, has potential.

Great time!! The staff was great, the bartenders were excellent, quick and friendly.. Great sound for the concert feel. If you want to sit an have some drinks, not the place. Music, You like it loud? Heavy? Then youre goina love it!

Why are you faking a wait, and purposely understaffing the bar? Not cool. Also fix the bathroom stall door in the ladies! Nothing like the great experience I had about 4 years ago, disappointing.

Would not recommend this place. Bathroom is nasty men and women,overpriced drinks $5.00 for a 140z draft beer $4.00 12oz bottle beers,main venue is dirty floors are always sticky,and never attend a benifit show because they are scams to rip the fans off,David Ryan Kevorkian is the promoter for this venue and he is very shady as known not paying the bands..... Shady management as well they allow drug activity to go on in and out of the venue.

Went to see Dylan Nelson L$D MPRG and the show was great. Caskey was there as well and I had a great time. The merch options were very amazing as well. I got two shirts.

Pretty iconic place for live music. Its a great venue for live acts and a good old-fashioned party bar. Worth the time to see local and traveling bands.

Best venue for live music in town. The sound system is second to none and the lights are incredible. Staff are friendly and the security crew are professional but approachable. They are not like bouncers at other clubs. Venue is large and hosts a variety of live music.

Not much to the eye, but it was clean. Nice selection at the bar though a little pricey. Limited seating. Get there early if you dont want to stand. Sound was good though the vocals were too low all night. Nice stage area for the band. Oddbodys does draw big name bands for the area so well be back.

It use to be great when it was Mcguffys. Because they actually had awesome bands! Now they cant get anyone to play there

First time ever shooting an event at this venue. Layout inside was nice and spacious. Very pleased with the amount of security at the venue. As with most clubs once it filled up, it became extremely hot inside and the only ventilation seemed to be coming from the front entrance

Drinks are expensive, they had a cop in there pulling his gun on people. performance microphones cut in and out, no designated smoking area, or heated smoking section.. if they fixed these things place wouldnt be half bad..but until then.. u stand by my 2 star rating.. the motel 6 of venues.

Went to a show with my Dad here back in November. Now, my Dad is mobility impaired and walks with a cane. He says he has to go to the bathroom so I help him get to the back where the restrooms are located. The staff actually helped me clear a path through the crowd to get him there. Just wish the bathrooms werent located so inconveniently.

Wow...what an incredible night at an incredible venue. Top notch talent headlining the shows. Top notch opening acts. Great energy exhibited by everyone, from the security guy at the entrance to the ticket takers, to the bartenders. Clean restrooms, great drinks, and friendly staff. Looking forward to seeing my next show there. If you havent checked it out yet, I highly recommend you taking in a show as soon as you can.

Extremely dirty, drinks were way over priced, bathroom is behind stage ( had to walk through the crowd to get to), trash bag over one of the sinks, person collecting trash from bar area drug the leaking bag from front to back ( left liquid everywhere, didnt attempt to clean up), bartender served drinks the we was told we had to leave because they were closed ( who wants to throw away $11?), stage was very small, no place for bands to sit or stand before going on. A 1 was given because they dont have a 0, will never return.

The sound still sucks here. Shouldve never tore out the acoustic ceiling. Everything rattles off the metal ceiling now. I think the sound guy is deaf, too.

This is Dayton premiere location to see your favorite bands. Theyve got awesome ownership oh, and great security team. Oh yeah and they got the best music and musicians on the planet there all the time. I hadnt been in there since it was mcguffeys and Ill tell you what day redid the place and made good use of all the real estate available in there. Its like a miniature Rock Arena. I mean when I go to a rock Club I dont go there to play darts or shoot pool I go to see loud music. And thats what youre going to find here.

Staff has always been on top of their game here and the bar has plenty to choose from. Ive only been when metal bands are here but from those experiences I can say their sound quality and stage views are good. The atmosphere within is what youd expect and parking really isnt bad at all.

Went here for a concert. The doors opened 45 minutes late. There was a large puddle of water collecting on the dance floor from what seemed to be a leaking air conditioner. In The womens room the doors didnt shut or lock properly. The restrooms are also located in a very inconvenient place, behind the stage, so you have to weave through bands and their equipment to get to one.

Good sounding acoustics

This place is slow takes forever to get a drink and when u do get one the bartender turns her back to u to make the drink and then charges way to much for a weak drink.

Saw Overkill here last September. Much bigger inside than I expected and they have local beers. Very nice to have a venue for metal in the local area...really need to get more big metal artists in here.

Odd bodys is a cool club to listen to some out standing artist play. The staff and owners are very friendly and nice. They book some amazing singers and bands. Go give them a try you will like it.

Nice venue for music. Plenty of parking.Bar staff friendly and great variety of draft beer, liquor available. My only complaint is lack of seating.Calendar is cleared, place has been shuffling bands to other venues. People are holding tickets with no refund availability. Since put up for sale in November, are they closed down?

This place NEVER, and I mean NEVER fails to deliver the goods. I went for a metal show & here I sit, 2 & a half hours later still reeling from it. Soulfly with special guests Kataklysm, Incite and Alucah plus 5 other local acts including my brother-in-laws band, Dr. Meat as the main support band before the national & international acts. Needless to say, this was a very fun night for me and my brother-in-law, even though he was nervous as all get out. Yeah, I played roadie for the night & got in free but hey, I had a blast and Oddbodys will be a high recommendation of mine. Enjoy!!!

The promotion people are annoying two guys messages me on FB for an event I said interested in the one was in a band playing but the guy that worked there messaged me right before and after midnight not okay

A great place to party

Went there for metal alliance tour, Great show. The crowd was cool The staff were cool. There was a pit .The site worked easy for getting tickets. I will probably be back to see more metal shows from the underground if luck continues Thanks Oddbodies.

Its pretty cool place to see live music in the fall and winter but no ac in the summer even the bands are having trouble because of the heat.

Good music but the bar is very slow

I dont know if its the PA system or the guy running the board but the live sound has never been satisfying. The bathrooms are located behind the stage! So imagine a long line of drunk metal heads waiting to use the bathroom, literally blocking the entrances the bands use to bring their gear to the stage. And the no re-entry policy never made any sense to me. Much improved beer selection when Oddbodies took over. For all my gripes, never had an issue with the staff. Bartenders have always been great.

If youre looking for a quiet night out, this is not the place you want. If you are looking for some loud rock music, then this is your best bet in Dayton. Pop Evil made what is likely their last appearance here last week

This is one of my favorite venues in town! They took a once glorious and then later, a failed venue, and are totally bringing it back to its previous heights of music! I LOVE that there is a huge variety of music coming in to the area, from country to rap to metal and everything in between! Their inclusion of local acts truly helps support all of the shows there, and theyve hosted a number of great benefit shows that have supported the community in different ways. The staff are fantastic! They reinvest pretty much EVERYthing to keep bringing better and better shows to the Dayton area and bettering the space itself! Keep up the great work!

The worst bar I have been to in years. Expensive drinks that are watered down and bar maids that hide while pouring drinks and dont know how to make drinks. We will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Ive been there at least 3/4 of the shows they have had so far.. always a great staff and great team of event staff. by far the best place to watch live music around.

Its just Ok. The music seemed flat the night I went, like all the inputs were turned up to the same level. They have reasonable beer prices and the bartenders know how to keep the line moving.

The music was great . The bar has fast service, but the place is hotter than hell and as a result smells like ass and gym shoes .

The promoters always get a great show together and keep people from acting like cavemen with slam dancing. Havent been to a bad show yet, the local bands that perform are usually pretty good as well.

Saw Shooter Jennings play here. The venue was a nice size and the crowd and staff were enjoyable. I think they may need new speakers though, or a better sound guy. Ive seen Shooter play at other places and here the quality of sound dropped off, especially on the louder songs. At high volumes it started to sound tinny and on a few was songs was really unpleasant. I watched the two opening bands as well that night and it was the same for all three, not just Shooter, which is why I suspect the speakers. If it werent for this Id have given them 5 stars... but to pay almost $30 for a concert and have poor sound quality is disappointing.

WENT AND SAW MUSHROOMHEAD THERE AND IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE SHOW. VENUE IS SMALL BUT NICE, DRINKS ARE VERY REASONABLY PRICED FOR A CONCERT BAR.

Easy entry, small venue but that works to the concert goers advantage.

Uncomfortable seating with those tall bistro chairs. I wont be returning until I find out most of them are gone. They wouldnt let me bring in my own fold out chair. Bring back John Knaus/McGuffys it was better then. Its sad to because the place is so close by.

Upchurch and organic bandits blew the house up!!! Good venue, excellent service. Will be back for sure.
