Love going to the funny bone every time. There is always someone funny, plus all the staff members are all so nice and helpful with drinks and food. Will be differently coming back.

From other reviews I expected this place to be a fire trap and to be really tightly packed in with terrible service. It wasnt so bad. Everything was ok. The iced tea is suuuper sweet, fries were soggy. Eat beforehand.

Very poor organization and execution of a sold out special engagement. Seating took WAY TOO LONG which backed up ordering of drinks and food. We arrived at 6:45, didn’t get seated until after 7, show was supposed to start at 7:30 but started a little late. We didn’t get our drinks until after 8 and our food at 8:45. People around us didn’t even get their food before the show ended at 9. We didn’t leave until 9:45 b/c it took so long to cash everyone out. We were rudely told by another server that our server had only been working there for 2 weeks. Not my problem, the manager shouldn’t have scheduled her to work such a large section by herself at a sold out event. Even so the entire place was a sh*t show not just our section. Don’t sell so many tickets if you can’t accommodate such a large crowd. By reading the reviews this isn’t the first time this has happened. Smh

Went last night and it was a big mistake. The comedians were the only good thing I experienced. I found out my order was given to someone else after waiting a little over two hours. I wasn’t offered anything else to eat and they still didn’t bring my order during the remainder hour. That’s three hours without an offer of consolation so, I sat there hungry and very displeased. I wasn’t able to really enjoy the show due to my increasing irritation and hunger. Had this been a restaurant, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy what little I did. Three hours and five waiters later with nothing to show for it.

I will rate it a 3, the comedians we go to see are amazing. The wait staff can be hit or miss. They are either very friendly or rude as hell. We have been there about 5 or 6 times and 2 of those times were good experiences with the staff.

Great comics. There is a two item minimum but it is reasonably priced. The wait staff works hard to take card of you.

Good time. Great wait staff. Food a little pricey but I was there for the performer so its not the end of the world.

We have our Holiday party here every year. The club opens early so we can have dinner without all the noise. They we stay for a move show. This place is great for a fun night of laughs.

We sat by the servers door, which is where they entered and exited with peoples food. We were continuously bumped into with food trays and it became bothersome. It happened so much, my husband and I decided to leave the show early. We love it there, great food, atmosphere, and lots of laughs, however the seating arrangement needs to be reevaluated.

I have never been treated so bad in all my life.I purchased VIP tickets $124.00!I was accused of recording the show, which I didn’t do.I offered for them to look at my phone not once, not twice, but 4 times to prove I didn’t record anything. They refused.I asked to speak to the person who accused me not once but twice and they refused. The manager was in the kitchen cooking and was not available to talk to!I have been to several shows at a different location and was treated wonderfully.I would never purchase tickets at this location again!Being accused of something I didn’t do is degrading! I try and show proof and they didn’t even want to see it!Unacceptable in all aspects!

We had a great night here! Godfrey and the other two comedians really hit it off!! The wait staff was excellent and everything was well organized.

Ms. Pat had me in tears genuine transparency in her comedy show brought buckets of laughter and I did receive my meal during this show. I went alone to enjoy a self date and was not disappointed.

It was nice but it took too long to get our food. I asked for water with lemon in it and was given a very small piece of lemon. The artichoke dip was not good nor was the chips. They need to call and talk to the Funny Bones in Virginia best artichoke dip I ever taste. Waiters and staff was extremely nice so was the comedians. I will drive down from Columbus again you guys have better comedians. The only reason I say a 3 and not 4 is because if I am forced to order the you should have enough staff to bring me my order in a timely manner.

The show was great the introduction was great the people were very nice and it was an all around good time and got to spend it with a good buddy of mine

The comedians were funny. The atmosphere was nice. It took a very long time for our food to come out, so it was dark and hard to eat. Drinks were yummy.

We were there for comedy, and that gets an A+ for the night. James Johaan & Jill Margano, (I probably just butchered her name) were incredible!The food and service...not so much. We were literally the first couple seated, one of the first to order, but the last to get our drinks. Everyone around us got their drinks, except us. We never saw our server again until we got our dinner.We got our appetizer in 5-6 minutes, but no drinks until a half-hour after that. Our server said they, (The drink staff) mustve lost our ticket. Anyway, she got drinks, no more problems with drinks.My wifes Bernie Mac & Cheese was great, but my burger was a little dry, and my loaded fries barely had any cheese on them.This was the 10pm show which we never do. Weve never encountered any of these problems before on the early shows. The staff seemed worn out, and we all know mistakes happen at times like that. But we will be back, just had one bad experience out of probably two dozen visits.

Love this place. Not meant for fat people though lol. I couldnt fit by the person next to me so I sat at the next seat/table luckily nobody came for that seat.

Their in house warm up guy wasnt funny and judged the audience when we didnt laugh at his lack of comedic ability, but everything else was great.

So its a great space for comedy. Butttt. The seats are way too close together.. food is meh! Drinks are not bad..

Surprisingly good comedians sometimes, otherwise its a fresh breath of new and upcoming comedians. Good prices for tickets, but there is a 2 item minimum purchase, so sometimes I wish they would just increase the price of tickets and remove that clause, but oh well. Also the seating can be sub-par unless you get there an hour early to the show, and even then you have a chance of sitting next to someone whos highly disruptive unfortunately, but obviously thats just the luck of the draw. In conclusion, the comedian selection can be surprisingly good, but the the business management to decide seating, minimum purchases, and number of wait staff/chefs can turn the experience sour. 7/10

Great place for comedy and a night out. They offer free tickets via email so fill out a comment card and youll receive special offers. The food is good, however, theres usually a problem with the wait staff and your order. Food/beverage mix-up and length of time to receive your order. Early and late shows are Thursday thru Sunday.

First off let me just say Guy Tory was great!! 5 stars for him. I love the idea of the place, but the seating is HORRIBLE!!!! We were already at this little bitty tiny table with no room to move. Then they bring two strangers over and sit them at the table with us. So awkward and uncomfortable . Not to mention the prices on the drinks and food is a bit pricy, but if seating was better the drink prices wouldn’t be as bad. Seating at this place

It was a horrible visit. they forced us to sit at a tiny table with two people we didnt even know. it was shoulder to shoulder. due to it being so packed and tiny i had to keeeeeep getting up and down to let people walk by. So much infact that i could hardly even keep attention to the comedian since i had to keeep getting up and down to let the waiters, waitresses and customers in and out in and out every 30-90 seconds and im not even joking!! it was ridiculous

While the specific act we saw was great, we got put on the back wall even though we paid the same amount of money as everyone else. So it just started off the night feeling like we got hopped. While the venue isnt that big, and visibility of the act wasnt an issue, we were extremely crammed. After paying $35 a person, plus a two item minimum (which is totally normal)... It didnt feel like we got our moneys worth.On top of being crammed (part of it is that we are all tall people with long legs so my perosnal feeling was we should have gotten a different table with actual leg room that was available), it took 35 minutes to get our first drink out. So the opening act was already over. Then our sever came around to get our required second drink minimum with the preface that the bar was closing in 10 minutes. We felt very rushed to order. Then not knowing how long the act would continue, I was left with a feeling that I needed to down my drink before he finished.Not entirely sure I would justify the price to come back here for extremely uncomfortable wooden stools, crammed set up, and rushed service, to come back

I would say that prior to this visit to th Dayton Funny one I was less than impressed due to only having bottled beer and a limited menu. It appears that they may have adopted the Menu at the Liberty Center Funny one or something like it and now have draft beer. Our server was pretty attentive given it was a sold out show. I orderd the candied bacon I had tried at Liberty Center a few years ago and was able to get a Yellow Springs Boat Show and a Toxic Blonde Ale. I cant complain. Only 4 stars because it was a Sunday show and they did not bring the bills out early enough to get cards run and back to people by the end of the show. My server must have been last in line because his section was most of who was still in the room 10-15 minutes after the show had ended.

Funny Bone is okay.... The venue itself is very nice but the prices are way too high for the quality of food they serve. Now if the quality of food was better then i wouldnt mind paying the amount that I did..... I had pulled pork nachos for 10$. 1) they were tiny 2) there were only 5 of them 3) they were dry.... But i was hungry so I ate. Ryan Davis and Austin Hall had us laughing until our stomachs and cheeks were sore.The trip above was a long time ago..... I just pick up and drop off a friend to work.

Saw Adele Givens and she was great. The host TimmyTim was awesome and very funny. I had the wing basket with Blueberry habanero sauce and it was worth the price. All in all it was a great night.

Went there to see Lil Duvall this past Friday. Show started almost 45 mins late. The sound system was so horrible you could not understand what the comics where saying. The place was only about 1/3 full but they still chose to seat us on on top of one another instead of spreading the guests out. Each comic complained of the lack of audience and horrible sound system so it made you feel as if they were just rushing to get the show over with. Lil Duvall made commented on the items as well and made a comment that he was to famous for this s@%!. Defintely not worth the $40 tickets. Last time I will come to the Dayton location. Liberty location is a much better venue.

Great little place. Good food. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious. Prices were a bit high but nothing to really complain about. My only issue is with seating. There is one middle row that is clearly the worst place to sit, especially if you are short like my wife and me. Front rows or back two rows seem fine. Fair warning if you go as a couple...I did not see any seating for two. Another couple whom we did not know was seated at our table. Its fine, everyone is there to laugh and have a good time but it seemed to really tick off a person a few tables down from us. Get there early to get a good seat!

It took a while to get everyone seated. And my food didnt come out until the show and almost over and I ordered the food before the show started . And the waitress didnt come back to check on the table hardly at all. Ive had better experiences then my most recent visit.

The only good thing was the comedians. Been too many funny bones but this one wasnt staffed correctly and our server didnt know what she was doing...

Very fun comedy club! I see a couple shows a month here. Comedians are always funny and the atmosphere is really nice. Seating can be pretty tight when its busy tho. Sold out shows are very tight seating!

I have always had a great experience at Dayton Funnybone. I have found this to be a much better atmosphere than Wileys and the former Jokers. The two major problems are the 2 item minimum and the often time cramped seating. You get crammed in even if the audience is a little light.

Chris Jones and Karlous Miller had us in stitches, this was a fun night!

Sal was hilarious!! Service here not so great, it wasnt just this time either. They forgot food from our group a few times, drinks we had to keep asking. This place is great to see a show, but dont expect food and drinks fast.

I went to see the comedian Shang perform He was super funny an I really enjoyed the show. On the other hand I dont think I will be buying food from the Funnnybone because the food literally sucks. I know they can do better that!!!! The Chicken was dry an the fries were overcooked and hard!!!!

In comparison to others in surrounding areas - just ok. They charge a processing fee $4.50 per ticket, must purchase 2 items at minimum and tack on a large gratuity charge also Liberty funny bone and others does not! Entrance and exit is not handicapped or wheelchairs friendly

Comedy is great. Margarita great. My dinner was the worst Ive ever had and Im not a picky eater. I had the pulled pork with fries. Worst pulled pork sandwich ever and sauce much too spicy. Fries were not fully cooked. Coke was mostly ice. This place could use a restaurant rescue!

Nice venue but very crowded. Get there early to get a good seat but be prepared to stand in a line outside the show room until about ten minutes to show time. Also, on my second visit it took the wait staff an hour to get my food. I forgot what I ordered, it took so long. But the all the acts Ive seen so far were great. Besides slow service I enjoyed myself.

George Lopez was great!!! Service HORRIBLE!! Ordered food, at the beginning!! Waited, waited, watched literally everyone around me get their food. Then finally got my food 5 mins before George wrapped up! SmhThen waited to pay, had to just go to the bar and pay that way.. Lucky I believe in karma because I definitely could have just walked out and paid!! I’m from Columbus. I definitely prefer Easton location.Eat before u go...

The comedians were great, the food was good. Prices are on par with the greene.The reason why I rated it a 3, the seating is elbow to elbow even for the smallest of people. Everybody was cramped.The service could use some work, took forever to get drink orders and the food took a long time.

The Atmosphere was Fun The Comedians Ken Mock and the Headliner Shang were Very Good. The Crowd was Not large but the Laughter and Attitude as well as the Food Was Awesome.I ordered Boneless wings, it came with Jalapeno Coleslaw and Fries.

Went to see Tony Rock which was Great! but the food and drinks are over priced. The tickets are always cheap so your paying for the show thru the menu purchases so, its what it is $$$

They have good comedians, but they over sell tickets, making it way to crowded, waitresses cant keep up, ours never came back after we got our food. Would have went higher, but overcrowding is just bad.

Tickets suggested to arrive at 11:15 for the 12:00 Marlon Wayans show. After standing in line until 12:30 I decided to call it a loss. Waste of $86.00. If this is typical, I suggest arriving at least an hour after the suggested arrival time.

I went with a group of friends and my experience on this day was horrible. I ordered the bottomless soda and only seen my waiter once and thats when he brought the food and drinks out. I was told by management they were short staffed. But I went back this weekend to see if that was a fluke. I was pleasantly surprised the waitress was great drinks were great and the show was on point! Great way to redeem yourself!

Saw Tony Baker (who was great!) It was so crowded that the waiters couldnt even serve or walk. We had to wait forever to be served and had to wait an additional 20 min after the show for our credit card.

The seating is WAYYY to cramped. You can’t even get out to go use the restroom because there is no way to scoot your chair back.

They cram you in we were sitting on the isle by the kitchen and facing forward, I felt as if that I should tuck a buck on the waitresses as they were touching me more than if I was at a strip club, very aggrevating. Mics for comedians were not working very well. The Hodge twins were great! The club needs to sacrifice some space for less $$$ at least next to the kitchen.

Saw Sinbad last week. Hes as funny as I remember from the 90s! The venue is always great, usually full, with good drinks.

Would reccomend. Nice environment to enjoy laughing until it hurts. Food and alcohol are nothing special, but at least priced at a fair point. Show up early or reserve your spots to get better seating.

My sister and I got tickets to see Sinbad s first show. We arrived and was seated about 6:40. Our server came to our table a few minutes later to order drinks and food. It was a sold-out show, but we were packed like sardines. I really dislike guests sitting across from you and blocking your vision to see the artist perform. I understand theres no first come and served seating. My sister had a tall man sit in front of her. Our order was a nightmare. Our food was over a hour arrival and my food luke warm. Our server forgot to put our order in. One of my items was missing. Our drinks were watered down by the time our food arrived. Our server was one of the worst Ive ever had. The only reason I gave two stars because the manager was kind and understanding. She provided us food and show tickets to come back. Im not sure if Ill be ordering food at this establishment again.

Went to see Eddie Griffin and had a great time
