Drove 45 minutes to participate in a 2 man scramble. It has been raining most of the day so we called once in the morning and again an hour before tee off and were told BOTH times the course was draining well enough to play, only to arrive at the course at 2:30 and find the cart barn completely closed and no one allowed to play. Wasnt expecting 5 star service from a public course, but expected a little professionalism and courtesy to save us the drive after we took the initiative to call and clarify the courses status.

The staff here is very nice! The course is definitely challenging with water and unbelievable greens! I will definitely be back soon!

The course is in good shape. It is fun and challenging— especially the undulating greens. It definitely plays like a much longer course due to the amount of water hazards and OB. However at this time of the year with all of the snowbirds in town, the pace of play is exceedingly slow. My Tuesday afternoon round was on pace for close to 6 hours. There should be rangers out there speeding people up. I will not be back here until the off-season.Edit: Played the course today and the pace was improved. I saw marshals around the course several times. Kudos for making the experience better. The fairways and greens could have used a little work but overall, this course remains a good value.

Greens are patchy, but still fun. Attitude is casual and fun

Nice walking near a trailer community thru well preserved little bridges and dirt trails. I found most small canals topped with wild vegetation, and many small rabbits along the way. Just about 3 miles of refreshing views and fresh air. Only available to walkers while the golf club is closed.

Booked my round and it rained the whole day and even the course was closed on that day. Never received refund, inquired and visited them total 6 times. Dont book online!

I was vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and wanted to play golf. After researching the various courses in the area I chose to play the Davie Course. My partner and I had one of the most enjoyable rounds we had ever had (not our scores) playing on vacation. The rates were very good, helped us with accommodating t-times, but the club returns (2 lost clubs) were something I’ll remember for a long time. The course ranger, after we told him about the lost clubs (had no idea where we left them) searched the course and found and then brought them to us on the course. After the round, me being a logo ball collector asked for a ball but was told they had ordered them but they hadn’t arrived yet, but when they did they would call me. Right, I figured I would have to do all the follow up if I was going to get my ball, but to my surprise I received a call from the course that the logo balls and arrived and was informed they would send it to me and they did. Now this may not impress some golfers but I live in Almost Heaven West Virginia, will probably never get to play there again, they know that to but they took care of me anyway and I will always remember that and I want golfers who go to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea or near the Davie Course to have a chance to have the experience I had (not the score).

Great course for the value. Compared to other public courses in the $30-$40 range, nothing beats the quality of round at Davie. The staff is laid back and encourages a fun atmosphere. Also, one of the few courses with GPS in their carts.

Greens are in great shape.

Our experience was fantastic up until the “manager of fun” started taking photos of our group...which was very unsettling as we received no warning/gave no approval. We were approved by pro shop to have 2 sets of clubs for four guys and passed by the starter with approval as well. The “Manager Of Fun” then brought 2 other gentleman over, one guy whose beard desperately needed a trim and one gentleman with an Australian accent who clearly is upset he didn’t go anywhere in golf. They all started yelling at us and accusing us of trying to sneak onto the course without paying. Extremely unprofessional conduct and the two have the communication skills of a bag of chips. If it wasn’t for Randy’s (in the pro shop) help and professionalism, the experience would’ve been ten times worse. Randy is amazing, highly recommend dealing with him. The turf crew should not be dealing with customers.

Staff is very pushy and lacks customer service but greens are usually in great condition

I played yesterday after not playing here for a very long time.I can’t believe they charge that much to play in this goat ranch.I used to play this golf course back on its prime years ago; then I played after it was re-done and the greens were really nice and fast. This was the time they had put some effort into the course.Now, it is back to cow pasture and the greens have not seen water in ages. Dusty fairways, ugly sand.There are better places to play for your money.

Good tee boxes and fairway turf. Greens slow and need weed control. Overall good value.

I practice on the putting green and driving range a lot. My friend and I played there last Tuesday. First off played in 3 hrs. The two gentlemen there in the morning fantastic. One gentleman brought my cart. The starter was great, remembered him when I was hitting balls on the range today. Some may think the course is short. You better be on in two greens are nice and undulate, bring your short game and putting skills. The par 3s are legit. And we played from the golds, cold morning. Called today to see if Matts were in play on the range,Randy gave great service over the phone as always. grass only no prob, practice the iron game and putting. Decided to buy more tokens, the young lady Samantha was very helpful assisting me with tokens, and seeing her outside, she went out of her way to give me a ride to my car to get my clubs via driving range. After standing and performing massages all day. I needed and enjoyed the break getting off my feet. Looking forward to our next round there the greens will challenge anyone. So make sure you breath and have fun. Great Friendly service by all, and challenging greens. Looking forward to future rounds and recommending to my clients when they come to town.

It’s been some time since I’ve played this course, enjoyed playing so much before, I played 3-4 times a week. After not playing for roughly a year, I met a friend to play a round after work. The layout is still nice and I still dislike all the water. Honestly it’s not bad, the last few rounds I played the course had 2 ponds. Price is good, staff is just as friendly, and the course looks nice. Can’t say that about some course during the summer. Grab your 4some or go alone and have fun. Hopefully I make it back a few times before “season” starts

This course is very unique for south Florida. All of the greens have multiple tiers. There are a lot of mounds around the fairways and greens. Many of the tee boxes are elevated. With a little work this could be a great course.A lot of water, so be prepared to loose some balls.I had a great time playing this course.

Did this used to be called Arrowhead Country Club back in the 60’s and 70’s????

They overbooked. The let a 5some of teens out. The course was in very average shape. Not worth the little savings. Never will play here again.

Fairways and tee boxes rough condition. Roller coaster greens bizarre. Slow play and no Ranger in sight all day. Not worth $40 in summer. My 30+ handicap partners I joined up with, however, seemed to love the course and the 12 pack they each drank.

Decent course, Wednesday afternoon they have a special price after 3pm. Definitely worth it.

Reasonable prices, nice course and the carts have GPS.

This course used to be arrowhead. Well worth the price and rentals were adams. Course played slow since they overbooked. Dont know how they did that. Course was in great shape. Staff great. But missed two holes due to slow play and overbook.
