I have attended many concerts at the Adler. The sound and lightning have always been good. Its a little crowded in the lobby sometimes. The seating is just okay, but the views from any seat are good... even the back row or balcony. I like the venue overall, and they get quite good, but less expensive acts.

Great show but no one is comfy in there. Your knees are crammed tight, into the seat in front of u. I am 57 and my knees where embedded!!! And u cant breathe without touching the person on each side of u!! Things have changed and we all go to the movie in recliners... If u just changed the chairs it would make a huge difference. Last time I took my whole family. No one wanted to go last night because they where so miserable as they sat and tried to enjoy the show! So I went by myself and a girl friend and she said the same thing.. her family would not have enjoyed it because of the seats. The staff was awesome!! The place is nice and warm and clean!! The shows always rock.. but will not be my pick for a long time as it is such a long show when we r all so uncomfortable!

The Jersey boys show was great, but the handicapped seating was not good at all. Not much room for people behind you. I sat in isle so person behind me could see and where they sit you, you couldnt see the whole stage.

The Adler Theatre is the BEST music venue in the Quad Cities.I have seen Kansas, The Beach Boys, John Mellencamp, Chicago, and ZZ Top all at the Adler Theatre. I am addicted to this venue. I have tickets to see Alice Cooper, Foreigner, and Kansas (2nd time) this year at the Adler Theatre.

Very cool venue! Havent been here before but am going to take advantage more often. Restroom location is my only gripe but there isnt much to do to change that. If you get a chance to see a band or artist here I would recommend giving the place a try, I think you will like it!

I have always enjoyed performances at the Adler. Its not as large as some venues, but the seating and views are still great. My only advice is go for an aisle (or front row) seat if you are taller than about 61 or 62. There is a decent variety of snacks, etc available as well as a cash bar for most larger shows. Go check it out! Broadway in the QC!

I hate to go negative on “local” because I believe in local. Local Local Local – YES!!! But his insanity called the Adler Theater has to stop. What brings people to fill this 2,000 seat auditorium? Talent of course. But are the people repeat visitors? It CAN’T BE! Why would people put themselves through the pain, agony, and emotional distress caused by a horrible sound system and microscopic seats? In 2006 I first visited the Adler with some good friends who had helped me out of a bad personal situation. In appreciation I spent a ton of money on 10th row seats for a comedy event. You couldn’t hear the comedians! From less than 30 ft away we saw lips move and couldn’t hear a thing. My group, along with 20-30 other people, stood at the rear of the theater to hear the show. Later that night, in my new home, I emotionally broke down over my failure to repay my friends. In the 13 years since I attended two shows both times sitting in the upper balcony. The comedians were world class and the laughter overcame the horrible leg cramps created by the playschool-sized seats. The last straw was earlier this year. Over a period of many months my wife secretly saved hundreds of dollars and purchased tickets to a blues guitar player I discovered on YouTube: Joe Bonamassa. You see she has health issues and knew when I listened to his music it took me away from the trials and tribulations of this world, if only for a moment. To date, attending the at the Adler Theater show is an emotional low point in my life. Our tickets were extremely expensive and located at the rear of the theater somewhere near row Z of section C. I cannot understate the size of the seat. I could not put my legs together because of the proximity of the chair back in front of me. Once Joe came out to play all we heard was noise. Just noise. As the show progressed my legs started to hurt but I could start to hear the music so it was ok. Then you couldn’t hear the background singers. Then all you heard was noise. He spoke to the audience, we heard that. Then the music started, just more noise. 45 minutes into the show my legs hurt so bad I was crying. That’s when we had to leave.I cried all the way home. It was the emotional equivalent of being told your going to Disneyland and then the taxi drops you off in Sheboygan on a snowy day. This insanity called the Adler Theater HAS TO STOP!Ron

I have great memories at the Adler Theater. It was exciting to get dressed up and go to a play such as The Nutcracker which my Mother loved so much when she was alive. I was also a very proud Mother watching my Daughter play her trumpet and other events she participated in. The Adler Theater is historical, great service and all around a place to visit in Davenport.

We had front row seats for the Gaither Vocal Band on Nov 10, 2018. Seats were very good, albeit the added front row seats were a little tight. My husband used the restroom, when he told me the amount of stairs I would encounter I knew I had no choice but to not drink any beverages and hold it. I wear a brace on each leg which have my my ankles stationary. I also recently had hip surgery, the two making stairs out of the question for me. That was my only frustration with an otherwise amazing event in a beautiful facility.

Here for the Wizard of Oz which is amazing Id give that 10 stars. The theater is not bad but it needs renovating. I am 6 foot and my knees are in the rails the whole night. Im not saying I wouldnt come again but I need to check everywhere before I leave because the small seating area is really hard on tall people for two plus hours.

Set in the upper Balcony at the Vince Gill Concert ,8-14-2019 Sound System was horrible, could not hear Vince Talking Only heard mumbling from him And laughter from who ever was hearing him talking , I Assume From the lower floor, don’t know what they were laughing at ,, The band was drowning out the vocals , I Love Vince Gill , Saw Him DesMoines And It was Awesome, Will Never Come Back Here , drove over 2 hrs , total disappointment, No PA System in the balacony At all , only floor sound I Assume from Vince’s Equipment , I Assume directed at the Floor ! I’ve been to many Theaters, never one this bad as far as sound is concerned, Maybe the floor seats were OK , wasn’t down there so I have no idea !
